I remember looking at those labels, mostly for the cockpit controls, and then realizing it was pointless for me because a lot of those stickers would cover up a lot of the painted deets on Tak Mags. Like all the cyberglow stickers.

Well they were $11, I got UM for $38, so $50? Not terrible, probably close in line to TL UM.

Ya. I think I paid about $54 including shipping. I went with ol' red thighs because I liked that it was more akin to the G1 toy.

What to do with PollyPocket? Why do anything? You gotta have some love for the fella after all y'all been through and he's still all shiny and silvery. Honestly I'm thinking of taking the Repro off his chest and just tossing him in Diasplay

Well, I wasn't suggesting you base a whole Diaclone display around Appy. I was kinda just talking myself through my problems. Iunno what you're gonna do *shrug*

I do really like the Hasbro Magnus. Those repro's look good on him, but he just tickles all the right fancies no matter what. Though the cockpit details are really awesome

He's a great figure. An awesome update to the G1 and it compliments the MP well too!! I'm glad I have all three. I don't need any other Magnuses if they aren't a variant of those ones (except maybe the Q TF!! )

IN OTHER NEWS!! TR Blaster arrived yesterday!!

He's pretty awesome, and I'm glad his Titan Master has PINNED leg joints!! Why that wasn't done across the board..hips/knees..why..Satisfying transformation when everything lines up right.

Also, as some of you may know, I've had MP Soundwave for over a year now and have somehow neglected to transform him!! I mean, I've transformed EVERY OTHER MP I HAVE COUNTLESS TIMES!! Even the cassette bots!! What the heck..

So here's proof!


It's a fine transformation, BUT it had been over-hyped for me. IMHO, it's not on the level of MP Wheeljack, or MP Ironhide/Ratchet, or MP Bumblebee, or MP Ultra Magnus. I mean it's good, but he's a blocky dynamic robot who compresses into a block. Not a sorta blocky dynamic robot that compresses into a vehicle. Just my thoughts though. It could be due to having the G1 and it doing the same thing-ish.

We all have opinions, I just wasn't as thrilled as some people made me think I would be.

we overhyped it for ya.

That's how I felt about MP Shockwave. At Least MP Soundwave looks better. Shocky doesn't even look that different from G1.

It's ok. I mean he's good, and again it's probably because I have the G1 I just wasn't "how'd they do that?!" like I was with Wheeljack or Sideswipe (or really the rest of the MP carbots, even though I have the G1s ). It's really the same, the only difference is there's a few panels that slide/fold instead of just being there out front.

Blaster is cool for what he is. He's got floppy toes though..and there's no excuse 'cause they aren't diecast!

You know what? I was thinking that same thing Ironhidensh. If I had G1 Shockwave, would I be so excited for the MP? I get there is only a few ways to turn him from robot into same size as the robot space cannon so it was similar between G1/MP/FT/C9 just with different aesthetics on the final product.

Megatron on the other hand seems to have an infinite amount of possibilities to get him from robot to Walther P38, just ends up being how good you want it to look!

He's a blocky robot that transforms into a rectangle. No matter how you engineer it I'm not sure it CAN be exciting

Advice: Call them. When Brainstorm popped up on their website, I noticed that my local place apparently had 2-5 in stock. The first thing I did was call them to verify that. At first, they said that the truck had just gotten in and they probably wouldn't be done unloading it until the next day. So I waited, and called again, and they had exactly 1 left in stock, so I had them hold it for me until I could stop later that afternoon.

I've been doing that with 3 stores. I've determined that the "2-5 in stock" is actually for the Generations deluxe general SKU, not for Brainstorm himself. The 4 stores I've been to have 2-5 of that class of figure, just none happen to be Brainstorm.

So I'll get two online, shipped to my hizzle, for the same prizzle I'd pizzle in the stizzle.
