Come the %&*@! on guys! I've been busy, can't you guys slow down? Last time I stopped by the Cramshack was apparently 4 pages ago! So gimme the TLDR version of SDDC Max versus TT Max?

And My favorite TR/L Deluxes gotta be like this:
1. TR Chromedome - Dunno. I'm just so taken with that head sculpt.
2. L Scourge - The colors! That spaceboat mode!
3. L Blurr - The colors! Damn near an MP.
4. TR Skullcruncher - Looove that gator mode.
5. L Weirdwolf - he has limits, but damn I love him.
6. TR Hardhead - fun, but his monkey arms bug me.
7. TR Mindwipe - nothin against him, just not wowed. Convobat though..
8. TR Highbrow - worse neck issues than all my Scourges.

TL, DR: I'd say better sounds on the Takara by a mile, even on the deco/stickers (pre-applied!)/but the SDCC entire package has to win. The SHIPPING BOX?! The sleeve on the packaging?! The awesome artwork and window display?! And then there's a poster!

Nice list, I really can't wait for Brainstorm. Currently watching Headmasters with Titans Return Battleship Maximus, Chromedome, Hardhead, Highbrow, Galvatron, Scourge, Skullcruncher, Weirdwolf, Mindwipe and CW Cyclonus. It's amazing!

You know what I think is really awesome? I'm fortunate enough to have Metroplex AND Fortress Maximus. 5/6 year old me is losing his mind right now.

I know I'm not the only one, but I have TWO TWO FOOT TALL ROBOTS. Is this real life?!

I do have a few negatives.

Bicep swivel is loose. Hips are still like Metroplex, although not AS bad. Knees are not bad at all! That's all though!

But I wants it for my Maxy.

Do you have Devastator?

You might have another con if you haven't transformed him into base mode bc its majorly disappointing.

Why yes I do! The regular CW Devastator. Probably should've waited for the SDCC one, or maybe it sold out quick. I can't remember. But I saw him at TRU and had a bunch of coupons so I had to buy him. I definitely need the DNA upgrade set for him though..

That base mode looks good!! I was watching Headmasters last night, and for the most part (with the exception of the opening credits) Fortress stays in Battleship Maximus mode (at least in the first dozen episodes or so) which I am perfectly ok with. I have Metroplex to be Autobot City BUT, his hips aren't super strong when I'm flying him around. And his legs don't lock together?! Why?!

The SDCC Devy hung around for quite a while, honestly I think the standard release is better with Taks taking the cake. I wanna get that DNA kit too, but I think BBTS and TFS are sold out. Still on ebay. Maybe I can get a KO like those CW biner feets our pal Shajaki pointed me to. I did order me a "bruticus" set in white for Supes and purple for the Mensies. I like the brute sculpting better all around so I'm glad those where available. The hands win... well hands down

Anyway that DNA kit is right around $50 shipped from most reasonable places. If jaun of you peeps knows a better price, hit me up.

EDIT: Scratch that, BBTS still has a pre-order up (last time I checked they were sold out) - **** its mine!

I kinda dug it as well. I didn't like how it didn't match the other purples or it seemed to light, but the deciding factor was I wanted a visor and them dollar monies. I guess with the DNA kit the visor is moot.

No Reprolabels yet, the premium stickers were pre-applied from the factory on the SDCC version!! I think I moved 4 that weren't to my liking so far. Most seem to be good!! I'm gonna double check the Reprolabels I already purchased for Cerebros and see if they are better or the same for the ones that are on there. If they ADD to it, I'll probably put them on. I don't think I'll replace the ones that are already there though.

I do still want the full set for FM, as I enjoy the window decals. And the Master Sword could always use a little more detail!

The Tak version's legs are fused together and can't split open like Metro's do.
What about SDCC, do his lower legs split open?

They are the premium foil stickers for the SDCC, I think they did that with Devastator AND Metroplex exclusives too! They are nice, already stickered up, I was pretty excited!!

That was one of the first things I checked, and they do indeed pop open!!

Don't feel cheated, but know that the extra money actually went to stuff this time around. Sometimes it doesn't!

So the big differences are (to increase cost):
Takara-based Titan Master
Premium stickers
Additional sound effect(s?)
Sword
Packaging, including shipping box
Poster

I guess the different paint apps COULD increase the cost..but I haven't checked to see if it's actual PAINT or just molded in a different color plastic.

Also, there are a MYRIAD of differences in the parts used between Metroplex and Fortress Maximus. The biggest things that are the same to me would be the knee joints, the panels on the calves, the elbows/forearms/hands, and the shoulder joint that "butterflies" out from the chest. I'm sure the internal mechanisms of the hips/shoulders/elbows/knees are the same too, and there is some part sharing, but assembly and connections are different.

Enough to make it it's own figure.

YOU KNOW WHAT?! I'll check tonight to see if there are any stickers in the internal sections of the legs!! I can't remember if Metroplexes sticker sheet came with them or not, obviously the Reprolabel set for both came with them.

Well Ironhidensh, I'm a sucker for the Headmasters cartoon, and I REALLY wanted that Takara Legends version but it didn't pan out. Luckily, the seller I was going through refunded my money immediately and I literally purchased it minutes later He really is awesome in his own right, I'm just glad to have my definitive version of him! So thank you!!
