My opinion: buy stuff that's fun. I enjoy my generations/RiD figures. They are fun. RotF Prime is not fun. I like my titans return much better ;)^

I currently have two of the TRU MP Rodimus Primes, I'm gonna fuse them into one really good one and one for parts. Take the best parts of each. Then if I can find a trailer for him he'll be Rodimus Prime only. I really can't believe a third party didn't make hands for him. Maybe there is hope from KFC since they've gone back to the MP11 seekers to make hands.

I'd really like to have one of each character, best representation type of thing. I really would. But then there is Ultra Magnus (MP and CW) and Galvatron (TR and Energron) and others I can't think of and I get frustrated and overwhelmed. At least I only have one Springer

I may re-visit my G1s, see who I have, compare to my MPs, and mix a display of them. As much as I like TR, maybe I need to quit while I'm ahead. Quality over quantity and such. I almost bought both of the G2 Combiner Wars sets that were on sale this morning, not because I necessarily wanted them, but because it was a great deal and I'd probably be happy with them. Key word being probably. Luckily, they were sold out by the time I signed in to HTS to order them.

I dunno. I feel like I have so much invested in these things but I'm not happy. Which is a terrible feeling. Buying stuff to buy it is not the way to be.

I hear you, brother, I hear you. I'm starting to think this is a wall almost every adult collector hits at some point. I just got done bouncing off if my wall.

I decided/realized that I wasn't enjoying (most) of my regular release transformers, and decided to get rid of them. It's very tough at first, but now that they are starting to go bye bye, I feel like a huge weight has been removed. I'm also learning nit to impulse buy every new figure I see on the shelves. That's a little harder, but I'm getting there.

You have to do what makes you happy. So all you have to figure out, is what makes you happy.

I'm glad that you kids understand, and I know I've had this conversation before with some of you in other threads.

I have definitely been going through and talking stock on what I have. There's a lot of stuff (mainly Star Wars) that is still MOSC, I just bought them to buy them! I've never been a MOSC/MISB kind of guy (takes up too much room) so those things are driving me insane. 15 of the probably 50 of those items went active on eBay this morning. I just want them gone. Maybe keep one Luke, Anakin, Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan, Han, Kylo, Palpatine..

Regardless! If I part ways with that stuff, and my Marvel and DC stuff, and my Bayverse stuff, I think I'll be happier. That's probably 200-300 things that would free my mind!!

So I'll buy what will make me happy, skip what would be superfluous, and keep posting and picturing it all ;)^

So here's some news. Picked up TR Chromedome and Mindwipe this weekend! ;)^

I really hope to have all the Headmasters before Fort Max arrives. I think that would be great! Scorponok will be glaringly missing though..shoulda picked up that BotCon version when I had the chance!!

Snaaaaaaaaaap. Probably the end of this month being shipped out, arriving in the U.S. in October!! :shock:

At least he is paid for!! Still hoping I run into Brainstorm at Walgreens. I was super excited to pick Chromedome and Mindwipe up from there the other day. They haven't had anything but TF4 figures on the pegs for a year!

So, someone arrived last week.

I finally have an Arcee!! What the heck took so long. I really missed the boat on Prime Arcee, she's great. Here are the only other female Autobots I have, one is my daughters!

And here she is, mixed in with some other bots. I'm still in the process of figuring out what the heck I'm doing with my shelf..

AND THEN! I made a make-shift display based on the alternate 20th Anniversary DVD cover.

My turtles also wanted some photo attention..

Those are the battle shell versions from a few years ago. I did some SLIGHT modifications to Raph (cut out his torso crack, modified hands to hold sai like he does in the show) and added chain link to Mikey's nunchaku and kusarigama. I hope to paint all of their eyes (although ninja-mode is neat, it doesn't necessarily go with their face sculpts..), paint the interior of the mouth black, maybe color some of the bodies with the appropriate marks. Lots of good imagery out there to use for research!! I have heard the weapons are TERRIBLE at taking paint though, so that's kinda sad.

I'm glad you scooped her. I know how important TF:TM is to you and your collection. The Takara deco is sweet!

Have I ever mentioned how cool I think the art direction is for the latest Turtles reboot? The character deisgn is real cool. Are those the ones that can store things in their shells?

TL Arcee is pretty nice, seems a little soft/delicate as far as the plastic goes. Not sure why I feel that way..I may also like the Generations head better, but the colors for this one are where it's at!

Yeah man, TMNT!! I love me some TMNT2012. I just wish there was an Ice Cream Kitty add-on for Mikey somewhere :lol:

The new TV series is very cool, and my sister is a huge turtles fan, so I've watched the first live action Bay movie (still need to see 2) and I've seen the older movies. Some good stuff in there. Donny is my favorite though. I feel like he is me, same thing with McGee when I watch NCIS

I was looking for Sky Lynx the other day whilst out and about. It is the one thing, the only thing, that can stand in my way that I wanted to find at two separate Marshall's, a TJ Maxx, a Ross. Should've went to Ollie's!!

You haven't, and I'm glad you did! I really really REALLY like the series, so MUCH SO that I "subscribe" to it on Amazon Instant Video! New episodes are delivered to me a day after they air, so I own the whole series currently!! Out of the figures that have been released at retail, I find the ones I picked up (the small Battle-Shell versions which are 5"-6") seem to be closer to the animation OVERALL. And you know me, gotta base my stuff off the animation :lol:

I liked TMNT, and really want to see Out of the Shadows. It's pretty cool how every version shifts the characters slightly, keeping a little bit of the original. The stories of the TMNT mutates, just like the stories of the Transformers transform.

My sister loves those 2 guys from Out of the shadows (Rock Steady, Beebop?)
