Anyways, check this out. Posted in the toy haul thread too, but there is a bit extra at the end of this one.
Well, i was out and about for work. stopped at a smaller walmart and lo and behold, guess what had literally been just stocked (the person was still walking down the isle with the other stuff to be unstocked)
I also paid for Sky Shadow, Brawn, and Roadburn from TFsource, so once Artfire comes in stock, those guys will join me. I only need to find the wave 4 titan masters and wave 4 is complete!
Also, a fellow seibertronian found a Chaos set and is mailing it to me as we speak. So that set will finally be with me! Another package from another seibertronian is also on its way, so I got lots of exciting stuff headed my way!

This story is only beginning now, as I will get into it in later detail.
Alright, 2 different packages arrived yesterday morning, but a 2 day trip took priority, so I had to wait until tonight to open them.
the first is from Carytheone, and the purchase was based on Will's top 10 animated figures and then seeing some images of Blurr posted by Va'al. Mention of wanting one led to Cary selling me these 3 fellas, and I love them. Ironhide is my favorite of the bunch at the moment
And then from out west came a package from o.supreme, bearing the Chaos on Velocitron set at last! I will post more about it in the Titans Return thread, but Nautica is cool and Quickswitch is much better than Sixshot
Also, found someone who looks good wielding Ptero and who needed a big gun/crossbow:

I'm glad too. Blurr is quite fun, and he stands as tall as my new Primes! Ironhide, I dunno, he's my favorite of the 3. He just feels chunky and he reminds me a lot of Bee with how big he feels.
Quickswitch is better than Sixshot. I cannot wait to talk about them in the TR thread. there are words to be said. lots of them.
Fastlane is alright. I thought I'd like him a bit more than I am at the moment but it's early. Mine's transformation joints are very stiff too

TFA Ironhide's alt mode reminds me of the Fuchikoma/Tachikoma spider tank things from Ghost in the Shell.

I can agree with that. I honestly always though that when I got a TFA Ratchet, it would be this mold considering how praised it is. And now I know that Praise is worth it. It's also fun cause I'm discovering some neat tricks with these guys by fiddling with them. Learning how to transform them by hand and fresh with no reviews or instructions (I tried Jazz without and it worked)

I always make my first attempt without instructions and I never watch the transformation part of reviews. I only look at the instructions if I get stuck or just need a nudge. After I'v gone from one mode to the other I check the instructions to see if I missed anything. Mo betta funD-Maximus_Prime wrote:I can agree with that. You must have the TFA Ratchet Erf mode
I believe they do make one in Cybertron mode, but it may have been an exclusive or maybe that's TFA IH as a TRU exclusive. I don't know, one or the other was.

Glad to see you got the ever elusive box set. Animated Jazz and Blurr are cool figures, they both have so much style. But I still need that Ironhide! Him and Rodimus are the last two figures I need to "complete" my Animated collection.

My only 3 animated figures are Bee, ninja Prowl, and shockwave. Both Ironhide and cybertron Ratchet were exclusives to TRU.
I really need a Prime, Ratchet, and Bulkhead to complete the teams. Then I will feel good. But those can wait. I'm loving and soaking in the new figures.
And thanks Sureshot and Bodrock! I really like the figures. Prime feels pretty special actually, and to think I was willing to sell off Quickswitch
