I pulled them all out of the box, but I had some other stuff to do tonight before I got to them. They are gonna get a lot of time, they are probably the last figures I get for a bit, considering the Siege Wave 2 micros, battles, and Leader Prime aren't around yet, and neither is the other SS Prime.

But let me tell you, none of the 4 disappointed coming out of the boxes, nooooo

The Siege figures look nice, should be getting those this week.

Silverbolt probably is the best torso of PW3, but I can only barely tolerate the other two modes.

I've gone too far down the craft beer rabbit hole and I find all the Guinness varieties boring, not bad just nothing worth talking about. Blonds are not my thing and I just finished a winter of high alcohol typically barrel aged darks. I just had my first IPA of the season about a week ago and a sour last week. Very excited for getting involved with some summer beers.

Congrats on the grill again. That's going make some sweet summer time fun and food ;)^

I really wish I could have all you guys over for some Boreal Blonde. or hell any other of the Boreal varieties. They are a Quebec brewery founded in 1988 (the year I was born) by some college students and are now a reputable and massive brewery.

Well better is a matter of opinion. I'm way too far down the craft beer rabbit hole and I look for "different/interesting/quirky" tasting notes.

The Irish Channel is very a traditional stout and very comparable to Guinness. So really like my sig suggests, it's just my opinion. YMMV. The biggest problem is that most of what I drink is either local to the state or region, so I can't even point you in the right direction. I also like high ABV beers, which Guinness is not. So really I'm comparing apples to oranges.

Well my company is Canada based and one of our lead POS software plaforms is based out of Laval, QC. Pretty likely I'll be back up that way at some point. I still need to try poutine. One of the locals I was in class with suggested a few beers that I can't remember the name of, I'm going to look up that brewery and see what they make.

Crown Royal! It's my favorite whiskey ATM. I know Cary likes his Scotch, but I'm a big fan of Crown.

no seriously, that **** is like syrup with alcohol in it. But then again I do like the Canadian breakfast stout that Founders makes... :-?

So when it comes to whisky (note the lack of an "E") I put bourbon on one side of the ruler, scotch on the other side and American whisky in the middle. I guess Canadian whisky is on the metric side that no one ever uses or even knows how to use.

Thanks, this is the kind of stuff I'm looking for. I can honestly say I've never seen a Canadian beer here (it's possible that I just didn't know what I was looking at). There's also import/deliver up-charges involved and beer is better the fresher it is. Anyway, going check that list and keep an eye peeled.

EDIT: La Fin du Monde is what I was told to keep an eye out for. Sounds like something I'd like.

I really need to get you guys some scotch train tickets. I introduced a co-worker to Laphroaig last weekend. The best way to describe it would be to imagine drinking a glass of campfire (and by campfire I mean an actual campfire). Easily my favorite whisky.

Well as long as it isn't my whisky, it really doesn't affect me. Now if only the rest of the fandom could see it that way.

If anyone is curious, I drink all spirits neat. Otherwise give me the cheap **** and splash some flavored sugar liquid in it. I've lost the taste for cocktails. There is a certain point in a rabbit hole that you can never go back and I've crossed that line with spirits, wine and beer. Kind of a shame really, but the journey was fun.

It's an arduous task with sloppy results, and not worth the aftermath. Also reeks havoc on my Crohn's.
I've found other suitable means to cop a buzz that suit me better.

But I do love hanging out and tipping a class with some high quality bros, and don't think for a minute I wouldn't do it with any and all of you fine gents. ;)^

Edit: On "my whisky" - 2 shots in a tall glass with **** ton of ice, and a **** ton of water. :lol:

I hear ya. I like experience, the buzz and the taste; but what I like more is sharing that with like minded people. To me part of the drink is the experience of talking about all the different tasting notes.

Ah the aftermath, at 40+ a hangover can last a day or two.

Whiskey is good, Bird Dog is my current brand of choice. Lovely stuff. Not a beer guy sadly, I just can't get into the taste, whereas the stuff with some fruit or some sour really tastes good
