A good thing about the toys is that most of them are deluxe or smaller. There really aren't any expensive bots save a few on there

I just spent around $90 to complete G1 Pretender Longtooth and pre-ordered MP Megz 2.0.... I'm poor now.

Damn D. I'm no stranger to lady woes, but that sucks man. I'm sure you're not feeling great now, but you'll enjoy your freedom soon enough, and another good serious gal will be right around the corner

Nice! This is why I like TFsource: no cost pre-orders. Gives me time to prep for Megs.

Thanks Shaj. I am enjoying my freedom some now actually. Don't have to worry about travelling to Philly (5 hour trip 1 way) every month once or twice!

TFsource. Got him back a month and a half ago, but been waiting for TLK wave 3 and MPM Prime to come in stock. But I cancelled Prime and the wave 3 guys were in, so I shipped him. The hammer was in stock when I bought it too. $6 well worth it I think

I really like those RID combiners, D! Kinda cool in their simplicity.

TLK Leader Megz is popping up in our Targets! Definitely looks demonically delish -- but I'm saving my $50 for OVERLORD. Maybe. >_<

They are really fun in their simplicity! It is fun to take a combiner apart and reassemble them in 5 minutes. They are a fun fiddle toy that while not posable are really fun for the simplicity and the joy of combining that they are

The simplicity is like the good ol' Scramble City combiners! I absolutely love my CW sets and Titan-class Devastator, but it's definitely more of a process to get 'em together.

On that we fully agree. That is why these guys are so cool: the big guys are for more process and posing, while these little guys are ease of play!

I cancelled because I wanted my order shipped and I could potentially find Prime for $40 cheaper at TRU than online. Fixed version has nothing to do with it.

So with that in mind, I did get my Scorn, Nitro Zeus, and MP Bee with hammer and I've been playing around with them. I plan to take pictures and upload them when I go to work sometime this week, but for now I will leave you with these comments:

Nitro Zeus is the most fun figure of the line. A TLK voyager will win figure of the year for me, as wave 2 and 3 have killed it, and no other figure, not even Topspin, comes close enough to be serious competition. Nitro Zeus and Scorn actually transform similarly, with the legs splitting to allow the arms to swivel around and then everything pegs back into place. Nitro's is a bit difficult first time around, but after that it is a breeze to do, and a lot of fun! Like Megatron, but even more asymmetric.

And MP Bee is pretty good, but he has yet to dethrone Artfire for MP of the year for me. He's just a teensy bit fiddly whereas Artfire is not so, and I do not like his hands that much. The thumb position is making things a bit tricky. The thumbs needed an extra joint

So because I forgot to add it to my first post, I have a plan for Thunderwing from the Siege set.

Nitro Zeus' cockpit is Titan master compatible, and it remains that way in robot mode, only as the center of a massive arm shield/crossbow thingy. Thunderwing will be paired with Nitro and in a regular configuration, he will serve as the power for his right arm cannon, powering it up to deadly proportions! And then, when Nitro himself needs a full body boost, Thunderwing will take control by becoming the head and Nitro's head will go in the cockpit, and devastation will reign supreme!

Oh no, I got you! She is my special sis. She's recovering from some wrist surgery too so she can go back to school for welding! She's getting along really well!

So I received a nice package from Canada on Monday, about an hour before I had work, and then yesterday I left at 5am to go to a job interview and didn't get home until around 8pm, so it's taken some time to get to enjoy these fellows, but we are getting around to them.

First of all, I got excited ever so briefly with the packaging

Sqweeks is by far the best, and the others are sort of meh. Not terribly excited, but not crap and dislike either.
