Any one catch the Doctor episodes of Sarah Jane?
Not bad but rather simplistic as far as his involvement in the story.

Yeah, not terrible but the first part felt like a bit of a rip with muffled TARDIS sounds right through the ep and the Doctor only showing up at the end. Caught a couple of SJA repeats last week as well, anybody notice that the guy playing Clyde's dad was the same guy who played Martha's dad in S3 of Who?

Yeah. I enjoyed them.

Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Err...
Clyde's Dad = Paul Langer played by Gary Beadle
Martha's Dad = Clive Jones played by Trevor Laird

Hey, I'm English. I'd place the accent as South London by the way. There's actually a huge variety of local variations for such a small lump of weather beaten rock.

As I mentioned earlier, there is someone making an anime Who movie. Recent samples (with better voices) actually make this look really good

Well ... all that wait ... for nothing. Typical RTD garbage. Oh sure, toss in a mention or two to the Ice Warriors but really, all the story seemed to achieve was turn the Doctor into a really old emo.

I'm glad to see someone make something slightly different than the typical Zombie, ie a water-based zombie. I'm kinda wondering how they got the fire-hose mouth to work, but not enough to look it up.
I was looking forward to seeing the new Doctor's attitude, what with Time Lord victorious and Time bends to my will. But sadly Time just kicked him in the ass and now he's worse than before.
At least no one snogged him this time.

I was hoping she would shoot the Doctor in the back. That would teach 'em
Really wth did he return them to Earth? He must be sniffing space glue. He should have just dumped them in a new exciting place to explore: they were explorers, right? Then they would be safe, but history would be safe, too... and we wouldn't get to see the Doctor so foolish.
I'm reading "Life Science" right now, a collection of Doctor Who short stories and really enjoying them. Keeping my Doctors stright is tough, though. I keep confusing #1 and #8 in the literature. They seem to have a very similar persona... plus #8 gets old at some point, doesn't he?
I don't have clear recall on all of the companions, either. Some of them seem to be drawn from comic books and other novels, too. Peri and Leela are unforgettable, though.
I hated #6 as a kid, but he's grown on me over the years.

Superb episode, showing almost none of the detracting factors Russell T. Davies is known for. Logical conclusion, pathos, acknowledgement of Dalek apocalypse and an even more logical direction for the Doctor's development.
Brilliant, just brilliant. Especially after the disastrous finale and specials so far.

OUTSTANDING episode.. From his not wanting to interfere to his arrogance at the end then his terror with the cloister bell..
Best episode in a long time.

That was a very good episode, although the green aliens seemed to be rather redundant except for the delivery of maybe three lines that the Doctor could've figured out on his own.
Psycho Master was well done.
Can't wait for the Jan 1 episode.

I am guessing that they will be of some assistance to the Doctor.
Simms makes a great Master.

I'll take that one step further; I can't wait to see RTD's explanation of their resurection, and then read all the Who Fans tear it apart because it's RTD.

But when it comes down to it, It was RTD that killed them before the series started, so any explanation from him (regardless of reaction) should still be better than Moffet or someone else bringing them back later.

Except the way RTD back tracks on things is half-arsed.
Really not buying Simms as The Master, especially this time around.

Re: The Dr Who (and spin-offs) Thread
I liked The End of Time Part 1, even if it did feel like a story we've seen before. It's new, and David plays the part wonderfully but it feel used. Donna, sure, I liked her character, Gramps, really... again? He's got nothing better to do than hang around and militarize the old farts?
The master is just crazy. It he supposed to be that way? Evil genius sure, but homeless crazy with the vid game 'Infamous' powers? Come on.
I liked how it played out though. His master plan was kinda cool. But yet it felt like how he did it before, control everyone on the planet. And bringing back the Time Lords.... Ok. Didn't see that one coming. I hope it plays out good.

I'm not suprised by it one bit. I expect RTD to basically undo everything he's done over the last 5 years to give Moffett a "clean slate".

As long as they bring back Romana II or posibly III/IV, I'll be happy.

Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

Well, for once RTD managed to deliver on a pretty good build up. From reading the entry on the Wiki, it sounds like the episode pretty much delivered what it promised, even if the Time Lords didn't properly come back.
Also saw a clip of the regeneration. Sad to see Tennant go. Sadder still to see Matt start off doing a bad Tennant impression. Nice to see a new Doctor catchphrase. Nine had "Fantastic", Ten had "Allons-y", now we have "Geronimo" for Eleven.
Can't wait to see it properly tomorrow.

Mixed reaction to it.
Saying his farewells was a nice touch, Mickie and Martha married? Never saw that one coming!
One thing i'm not too sure about, was the Time Lord President referred to as Rassilon? That's simply not possible, but then again, it would just be like RTD to ignore established fact that RASSILON WAS DEAD and his death was pretty much the foundation of Time Lord society.
Matt Smith has got a big task ahead of him, I didn't mind the short bit we saw of him and I liked how they set it up to give the Tardis a new (old) look (exterior and most likely interior). Best of luck to him!
