Still, it's pretty obvious how important the gimmick on Hotshot was by how huge his backpack is.
Hrmm... I'm trying to think of another Armada-bot that I have experience with, but I'm coming up empty...

It has better animation as well as finished and not rushed episodes like Armada had. And the Toys are show accurate with better quality as well. Some pics are old, and some are new.
Overload is the US version though.

Still, would it have hurt them to paint uncombined Prime's hands and feet white?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

The Japanese equivalent of Transformers: Armada.
Yeah, I prefer the gold to the yellow as well. It's just so...luminescant...

Looks good in the cartoon, but doesn't translate to reality too well.

Shame it was such a limited release. Good job I've got one. Does anyone know if the X Dimension Bumble from the set ever got a seperate release or whether that was just as limited as FB Convoy and Clear Magnus?

Armada Prime is and always will be one of my faves ever!
A toy so good I bought him twice.
You jest....right?
If you're a pro, you buy it four or more times:
Skywarp2, most of your 'reviews' have been pretty balanced. Your bias here really shows through as you don't go to any lengths to discuss the positives of the figure.
You could always start off wit explaining how this is a modern version of Star Convoy, or how innovative the remote transforming mechanism is, or that Prime combines with Overload and Jetfire in both bot and alt modes.

By the way, as you can see, I have since changed my point of view on Transformers Armada... What are the Bots one by one in your Picture again?? Please list them for us.. thanks CP..

Energon Ultra Magnus
Energon Optimus Prime with Energon Saber
Cybertron Delux Optimus Prime with Armada Skyboom Shield
CostCo Energon/Armada Optimus Prime
Armada Optimus Prime w/Jetfire & Overload
K-Mart Gold Christmas Optimus Prime
Powerlinx Armada Optimus Prime
I may have to get that set you picked up sometime. Honestly when I started with Armada, I didn't get a lot of the Japanese releases because I wasn't interested. It's kind of fun revisiting them now.
