Well done every one :APPLAUSE:

You missed the main point of the tournament. The goal was to take cities. The side which outscores the other within the tasks, gains that task for the city. The most tasks within the city, the city is gained by that side. The side with the most cities, wins the tournament. JP has his way of explaining it better in the first post.

Good to see the overall list though.

Wasn't that:

Sum of bot points vs. sum of con points to determine the citys fate

Well, finished editing in the last couple of tasks that I'd actually got a mission ID for, giving me a grand total of 35 / 88%

Shame I couldn't get just a couple more tank kills... Still, great tourney! Thanks Jeep! (and anyone else who was involved) :D

Thanks for the count, slip, but I need to collate the points differently to decide the winner. But that does help in case there's a draw.
The number of successful claims per task is weighed up, the side with most wins that task.
The number of tasks won in a city is weighed up, the side with the most tasks wins that city.
The side with the most cities has won.

I'll get it sorted when I can.
Thanks for everyone who took part, I hope everyone enjoyed it!

Lets say 5 :BOT2: / :MAX: complete Task X of City Y, and 7 :CON: / :PRED: complete the same task. That task them belongs to the :CON:/:PRED:. The most tasks gained in a city by a faction, the city belongs to that faction. In the event of a tie in tasks, then it is the overall tasks completed in that city by a faction, then that is the tie breaker. An example of tha is that in City Y, both the :BOT2: / :MAX: and :CON: / :PRED: have four tasks. Then it would go to a tie breakers. So if the :BOT2: / :MAX: have a combined total of 20 tasks complete to the combined total of 18 by the :CON: / :PRED:, the tie breaker goes to the :BOT2: / :MAX: and they control the city. Then whoever controls the most cities, wins the tournaments. Overall scores do help in the event of a tie in cities.

I was nice to see how overall each faction did though.

I'm not sure which is more of a tongue twister, trying to read that or say 'peter piper picked a pickle peppers...err however it goes' lmao. But i understands it. The tourney was fun as my official first one, hope theres more soon. Congrats to Scranton aswell. Didn't quite reach the goal i set myself(25) but i'm sure i would have gotten there with the missions i was in while asleep.

alright guys one thing i did have to was the percentage of all avalible tasks completed by faction. I may finish counting tasks in vos by EP's model

Here are my results that I counted

VOS
:BOT2: (51) / :MAX: (12) - 63
:CON: (62) / :PRED: (21) - 83

KAON
:BOT2: (57) / :MAX: (13) - 70
:CON: (52) / :PRED: (21) - 73

NOVA CRONUM
:BOT2: (56) / :MAX: (11) - 67
:CON: (60) / :PRED: (24) - 84

IACON
:BOT2: (54) / :MAX: (11) - 65
:CON: (65) / :PRED: (25) - 90

POLYHEX
:BOT2: (59) / :MAX: (11) - 72
:CON: (56) / :PRED: (23) - 79

So by my findings, the :CON: / :PRED: are the winners by controlling all of the cities.

If you want to take it by participant average, here are the standings. The :BOT2: had 9 players register with claims while the :MAX: had 2. The :CON: had 12 register claims and the :PRED: had 5. I saw people that did not register claims as non-participants. If yu registered even one claim, I claimed you as a participant since I included you in my previous post of victories.

So here it breaks down to average claims per participant.

VOS
:BOT2: (5.67) / :MAX: (6.00) - 11.67
:CON: (5.17) / :PRED: (4.20) - 9.37

KAON
:BOT2: (6.33) / :MAX: (6.50) - 12.83
:CON: (4.33) / :PRED: (4.20) - 8.53

NOVA CRONUM
:BOT2: (6.22) / :MAX: (5.50) - 11.72
:CON: (5.00) / :PRED: (4.80) - 9.80

IACON
:BOT2: (6.00) / :MAX: (5.50) - 11.50
:CON: (5.42) / :PRED: (5.00) - 10.42

POLYHEX
:BOT2: (6.56) / :MAX: (6.50) - 12.06
:CON: (4.67) / :PRED: (4.60) - 9.27

So spinning it this way, the :BOT2: and :MAX: averaged better scores than the :CON: and :PRED: participants in the tournament. Because of their numbers, however, the :CON: and :PRED: were able to outscore the :BOT2: and :MAX: and capture the cities. The :BOT2: and :MAX: put up a valient effort but were unable to overcome the numbes of the :CON: and :PRED:.

My results for Vos:

Task one
Autobots/Maximals - 10
Decepticons/Predacons - 13

Task two
Bots/Maxis - 5
Con/Pred - 7

Task three
Bot/Maxi - 9
Con/Pred - 13

Task four
Bot/Maxi - 5
Con/Pred - 7

Task five
Bot/Maxi - 9
Con/Pred - 13

Task six
Bot/Maxi - 5
Con/Pred - 7

Task seven
Bot/Maxi - 11
Con/Pred - 12

Task eight
Bot/Maxi - 9
Con/Pred - 11

TOTAL
Bot/Maxi - 0
Con/Pred - 10

Which means that the Decepticons and Predacons have well and truly conquered Vos. Other cities coming soon.

I will clarify my posts. I just went on sheer tasks completed in each city by each faction. Do not take them as the official results as I leave that up to JP and the ones running this. I was just giving a feel on how each faction did in the game. It was a more an elaboration on what slip posted.

I did my best for the :BOT2: as I completed all of my tasks. :P

Here's what I make the scores to be, assuming that the total number of tasks completed in a city is the tiebreaker for each task.

--EDIT--
Amended table when I spotted that Iron Blue had used the same mission for more than one claim. 1 point deducted from the Autobots on Kaon-7 and Polyhex-7, not that it affects the overall scores at all.

I did my best to help the Autobot scoring... I got all but 3 done.

Had almost finished Vos Task 2, too. :( Just one mission to go.

Oh well. At least it was fun! :)

I managed to get 22 of the tasks complete myself. There were some tasks there was no way I was ever gonna complete like stasis locking opponents with the punch, or attacking w/ 5 different weapons.

Did any of the Preds get Truce task?

And how did anyone complete the wait two minutes before you do your first action? I reset someone down to 0s in courage and speed and still was making actions well before that.

Tends to happen in bigger missions 6-10 per side. Not everyone can attack in 2 minutes, so the last guy it often going to be outside of that.

Well, for decepticons it was easy.
Strats to do it:
1. reset to 0 crg and 0 spd as you said (as I know, they both could influence it)
2. join missions where the opp is heavily outnumbered - less chance that you'll be picked from your side

I had speed at 0 as well.

As far as I know, Preds don't get missions with more then either four or six people, and we rarely have a full side.
