Thanks everyone; this tournament was a blast. Hope some of the others who are only a few tasks away are able to clinch it in the last few hours. I'd really like to see the top of the "scoreboard" afterwards fill up with fellow Autobots :BOT2:

Just need to decide which of my character is getting super-armor now: Not sure whether to boost up a lower-level, make a nigh-invulnerable medic or turn one of my L10/11 Strafe Tanks into a juggernaut.

Meh. Honestly, the only reason I entered this tournie because it was a tournie. Having never seen the Fallen in any media (yeah, I know, I'm missing a lot, but that's when I use the Transformers Wiki), his shield is to me as the war is to Lockdown: I don't really care.

Besides, at least I got a few tasks done. Got a little extra xp, slagged a few 'bots and Maxis...the life of a Darkticon.

(I'm still wondering whether or not I should replace Forcepush with Lockdown, since I'm a fan of the awesome merc. I'm a little...pre-occupied...at the moment.)
"YOU INTERRUPTED MY SPEEEECH!!!"--Starscream, Transformers: Animated.

Yeah, I find that quote funny. So what?

Finally completed all of my tasks. Second isn't so bad, especially since it is to a :BOT2:.

Got my prize and am doing a test run right now. Going to be a very fun week...

And congratulations on completing your list, EP. First and second place to the Autobots, from the look of things! :BOT2:

I hate you both :P

Who'd you go with in the end Scantron?

I would've thought it'd be more beneficial to a low level character.
Put it on em, throw em in a 1-11 mission, POW; massive XP.

:BANG_HEAD:
Gah! Worst possible timing!

Right while I was going through my backlog of mission logs that I haven't had time to collate into tourney scores. I was at 75% and going through the logs looking for the last couple of tasks. Dammit!

So, uh, Jeep!... What's the plan for the scores now? :?

I would like to see the :BOT2:and :MAX: win the team as well, though I think there were more :CON: and :PRED: players.

And the log wipe deleted my test run. Oh well, try again, I guess...

Dealer wrote:[color=#008000]Who'd you go with in the end Scantron?

Who indeed? :P

No sense being mysterious, since a quick check of my team list would make it fairly obvious (ie - the character with no points in RNK). I went with Shatterwing, after a redistribution of stats to drop his points in RNK and AVD into better stuff; had to drop him to L7, but there's L7s with far more than 25M xp.

Reasoning was that my higher level characters (mostly) have maxed-out armor anyways, which drops most Incredible weapons down to ~7% average damage, so they don't need it. Also, at L9+, most character have tactics maxed out and aren't using their weapons much anyways, so I wouldn't be facing as many weapon attacks at L11 as at L7. And, RP terms, none of the other characters on my team actually like Shatterwing, so if there's a guinea pig needed for testing unknown technology, he's it.

The only option is taking everyones word for it that they did indeed complete the tasks they said they did and stop the tournament a bit early and count up the scores.

As for those were waiting until the end to check their mission logs, thats tough luck. Just bad timing on the wipe.

I know this will hurt and help each side, but it is the only fair way to do it.

At the end of it, Scantron won, and that's it.

I only lament not staying in yesterday and getting those last four tasks done. I really wanted to try out that armour.

We'll have to do more of these. They're great fun.

Well, this does save me the bother of finding a mission number to close on, anyway. I'm going to take everyone's word for it that they were able to complete the tasks they've said they did. Unfortunately, I have an exam tomorrow that I haven't been to any classes for, so scoring isn't going to be the first priority today, but I'll have it done tomorrow of friday (unless anyone else wants to volunteer).
