10-11am. EST is 5 hours behind GMT.

Got a question, for anyone who can help(though the competition may not give a 100% honest answer, i thought i'd ask anyway.). Do the weapon recharges still really affect anything? Like does a 'no recharge' weapon get used more than tatics than a 'short recharge' weapon?

Even some "no recharge" weapons need 6 seconds to reload (mainly the new ones)

I think the formula was:
- roll for attack time
- roll for triggering tactic (5% for each tactic level, I think) - if triggered, tactic will be used, else the weapon will be (if recharged)

Crap. Sounds like it is too late for me to join. I have been working 16 hour days lately and have not been reading the message boards. 5 days was a little short notice in my opinion. Kinda sucks because I am obviously one of the most dedicated players with the top 4 bots being mine (not including those who received 15 mil points).

Ok, this is total crap. This is a major change to the game and, as such, should have been listed under "Recent HMW News" on the index page. I was trying very hard to reach the overall team score and was making progress. This shoots all of my hard work to hell.

I work extremely long hours as a software developer and don't have time to read or notice new topic posts. I had assumed any major and official game news would have been listed on the index page. Playing this game is something I can do that takes only 2 minutes of my time every 30 to 40 minutes or so.

As far as i'm aware, the "Recent News" on the index page hasn't worked for awhile now. Unless something has been fixed since the crash, which with OS workin on V2, i don't think it has. Though i could be wrong, but i haven't seen anything to suggest it has been working since then.

Well, for what it is worth, I did submit my stats. Probably won't get accepted but thought it was worth a shot. Ultra Magus is my chosen combatant because this is something he can deal with now.

Major change to the game? how and in what way?

The game is still being played within the same dynamics as before, and if you are worried about your team not being in the top as 30 odd characters have been artificially upgraded then don't be, as we all know your team is one of the best overall. And when everything is said and done for the launch of V2, that will still be fact.

Personally I couldn't care if your allowed to join or not, but the simple fact is, there was easily enough time if you had bothered to check in. Could it have been a news article??? Maybe, but seeing it is more or less the same as any other user run tourneys (abet users with mod access) it really isn't news worthy. Most of us playing this game go to the forum for info, rather than checking news tickers anyways.... :roll:

Oh Huntmasters, is it alright if we have a few practice bouts with willing opponents before the actual scorekeeping starts? I can't see what the harm is if we both agree that it doesn't count for anything.

I would still say not to, simply because you will earn XP, and if you have room to upgrade once things start that XP can be used. If it hasn't started then don't start. But that is just me

RoS, this was publicised as much as it possibly could be, all 6 of the HMW forums have a thread mentioning it, but the HMW news has not worked at any point since the restart and as this is a forum based game it wont be site newsed.

As the sign up date has closed I should say no, but I dont want to deny an interested party in a new game so ill turn it over to the players to decide...

So, Guy n gals, if enough of you agree then ill allow RevengeofStarscream to join in the game, please add you opinions below...
