Most expensive was my MISB LioKaiser combiner gift set that I got at BotCon 2001 for $500.00.
Runner ups were my MISB Japanese Overlord at $300.00 (BC 2003) and
my MISB Deszanrus for $400.00 (BC 2002).
Thanks to J.E. Alvarez's book for showing me that these even existed. My wallet shall forever hate him....

I got G1 Metroplex a little over a year ago, I think it was a little above £50.

There are some rich bastards on here! The most I've ever spent was $200 on MP-02 Ultra Magnus. Of course then they finally rereleased him. How do you think that made me feel? Never spending that much on a toy again. Spending about $170 on Henkei Dirge and Thrust and thats the tops for this year (unless I decide to get MP Grimlock).

Well, is the point of this thread to see whose got the most expensive stuff? I mean, these never end well.
Getter holds top spot until somebody else decides they want to up and spend $2000+ on a lucky draw. The opportunity is there for any of us, if we have the money.
The most I have spent? I think the most that I spent on one figure, or set of figures was $600 on the Guard City set MIB complete.

I have a tie. I spent about a hundred bucks each on MP Convoy and Korean Brave Max. On the same day, mind you.
I never would've been able to spend so much under normal circumstances, but I'd gotten a lot of cash for Christmas from my grandparents that year.

I spent 240 dollars on God Neptune, and then around 160 for predaking reissue set. I long for the day when I can spend more though.....

So far the most expensive Transformer I've bought would be MP Starscream (the white 'G1' repaint).. found him on Amazon.co.uk middle of last year for the nice round sum of £60 + shipping..
IF.. I had the money.. I'd get a CM's Soul of Chogokin Genesic Gaogaigar.. which after a quick search on ebay, can go for anything between £180ish right up to £400!!..
Unfortunatley that day is a long way off yet.. Finding work and moving somewhere nicer with my fiancee is at the very top of my list right now!
..Some day Gaogaigar.. some day...

Actually, Rikkomba holds top spot as he spent between $4,000-6,000 on Shining Unicron.
However, he recently retired from colleting and as such isn't here to slap us around.

It's a tie between 80 GBP for G1 Scorponok and 16,000 yen for the Predaking reissue set. Apparently I'm willing to spend more on really big Decepticons.

It was quite a few years ago (before children) but I quite happily dropped about $450 on a sealed Metrotitan. Nothing close since though unfortunately.

The highest I know of was $14,000 for G1 Unicron.

I class everything I've bought for MP Prime as money spent on 1 figure so in that case £80+£40+£40=£160.
Suprised how many people have paid £100+ for MP Starscream, when he first showed up at toys fairs and the like he was about £60 and before long leveled out at £45.

Sometimes I can kick myself for not being into TFs back when I was single and living on my own. I coulda had a huge collection... which I would probably be selling off right about now.
Anyway, my most expensives have been about 50 or less, mostly new Leader classes, and some old out-of-box stuff, like a complete God Ginrai for about $40 IIRC. My wife would never let me spend more than that one a single TF, and I can't say I blame her. Too many mouths to feed at the homestead. That leaves more cool expensive stuff for all y'all, so enjoy!

Just hope you don't get VAT and Post Office Admin fees added to that import.
I got charged £33 on a $180 toy - after P&P + VAT I only saved about £10\15 on the going rate.
