The most expensive one? That's hard for me as I'm a bit of a cheapskate (I'm dutch, people ;)). I've paid the most for G1 reissues, they're always slightly below the € 100 mark (roughly US $125). Needless to say, I prefer reissues over originals.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

When it arrives, my MP Grimlock will be the most expensive (£110). The most expensive I actually have to hand is MP Starscream, at £100.

I don't (yet) have the cash to hit the likes of eBay for the bigger / more rare ones I want :(

So far, Masterpiece Convoy cost me about $250...

City Commander with Ultra Magnus cost me about $150...

Masterpiece Megsy cost me about $145...

Those are my top three most expensive Transformers...Obviously not THAT expensive compared to what some of you have spent...but considering there was a point where I scoffed at the $20 price tag on Movie Voyager Prime thinking to myself I would NEVER pay so damn much of a child's toy for myself, that is a lot of money to me... :P

Does the Wings of Honor set count? It's my first Botcon set and at $290, it will be the most I've spent on a set.

Right now the most expensive figure in my collection is MP-04, but I got it for Christmas when it was released. The most I've personally spent is $190 on the complete MIB Machine Wars collection.

Weapon: Reciprocating Laser Cannon
Till now, it is Jetfire MIB, full complete; it cost me 120$.

In march MP Grimlock will take that place with its 120$ + shipping.

G1 Megatron reissue. 110 euro. Was only getting back into collecting so even though I could easily afford it, I still felt guilty for spending so much on a toy.

That said, I spent 150 euro for oversized KO Bruticus, my first ebay purchase. But technically he's 5 Transformers.

Same for me, sealed original Japanese box, but mine cost me an even $500

I once bought an entire alternators set from one seller (all 22) for $900

I also bought an entire set of MISB takara dreamwave G1 reissues
for like $1900, and then again a year later from another seller for $1500 (he was desperate to unload them)

The most expensive individual TF I've ever bought was the E-Hobby Laser Ultra Magnus for what comes to $110. The most expensive set I got was the Japanese Toys R' Us exclusive Clear God Fire Convoy set for about $170.
