So what exactly are we gonna call the great reset this time? I mean, are we gonna have like a story title for it, so when we make bios(if we make bios) that everyone knows what basic timeframe we are talkin bout? I'd kinda like to put something about it in my bios, alluding to what I had previously done, then starting from scratch. Know what I mean?

Sounds like a plan. Better than just calling it 'The Great Crash,' the Crash of '08, or When Ike Attacks.

So after The Great Devastation did OS give us life with the All Spark? Or did we all scatter the Universe till this new beginning...

I intend to completly ignore it, as it'll muck with the universe my team inhabits (the same universe as my tournies).

Well, the fic I'm working on (plug plug) will explain the disruption to the tournament. I don't know if you want to incorporate it or not.

I'll be honest, I was ignoring it becuase I fully expected it to be at odds with our own universe, but I might have to give it a read, see how easy it'll be to meld the two.

I'm using the tournament as a backdrop. There will likely be some stuff that doesn't quite gel, but it shouldn't (i hope) conflict with your own version.
I'm working on part 4 at the moment, so you might want to wait until I posted that to make a decision.

Mine have their own little place the reside, I figure they've been doing things there for a bit oblivious to what all has gone on in the rest of the universe.

Re: The name of the latest and greatest...
I'm working (slowly) on a fanfic dealing with the destruction of my old team when the previous universe is completely destroyed by Unicron. The new game, and new incarnation of my team, will represent an alternate reality...save for two characters from my old squad who escape the devastation and set up shop in the new universe (one under his original name, one with a new name).

I've always kind of thought of HMW as a Transformers Universe type thing. Characters from all the different mutliverses converged into one. This, for me, explains the reason for so many different versions of the same character and/or alt mode.

I'm just going to go with "R-Day" for my own stories. Don't give a **** if anyone else picks up on it or not, because like GP I like the idea of it being a "Universe" style of thing so everyone will have their own stories and don't need to subscribe to someone elses.

I never liked the idea of 'Universe' as an actual story...
Some of the otys are ok, but the multiverse thing sounds too much like an excuse to me.
I simply ignore all other stories that dont mesh with mine by n large (thanks to JP's TF:Extinction universe, more and more tfs are falling inline with my own team's 'universe', which is nice.

But it does make sense when it comes to HMW.
meh, have as many "fall into line" as you like. As much as I am an advocate for a overall storyline to HMW, I do like everyone's individual take on things.

Oh I do not expect everybody to fall inline with the universe my tfs inhabit, hell, it's a bit of a fudge even between the teams at the forefront of our particular universe.
Only thing I will say is, if you want inclusion in any fics related to the universe my team (and all my tournies/games) are in, please contact myself or JP (so we dont get a rerun of the (highly un)'offcial fanfic' that apeared for the latest tournie)

Re: The name of the latest and greatest...
I've always liked the idea of the Universe toy line and storyline. It makes sense for that line and it makes sense for HMW. I mean hell G1 itself had no less then 4 main realities. More if you consider the various time travel, and splinter realities.

It's best to assume every link I post is NSFW, and every post I make is just me taking the piss.
