Some one just post a picture so I have something to laugh at.

Lapse Of Reason's post (Didn't get you're PM yet. Got one from 1337W422102 though) and others I feel some reforms are in order.
How would you all feel if this contest was canceled so I could do some more work on it? I feel I may have gotten overexcited about bringing the contest back and did so without it being fully ready.
Decepticon Spike would still guest judge when they contest starts again.
If you're all willing I'd like to recieve your suggestions and ideas for the contest (anything about the contest!) that would help improve it as a whole and expand people's enthusiams for it. Send me a PM with your suggestions or post them here!
If enough of you respond I'll decide what to do, but if not the contest will resume and we'll try the reforms with next month's contest.
Nah, I think it's fine. You can implement any changes you think is needed for the next contest.

Neko, I do not know what happened to my PM to you. It does not show up in my outbox or sentbox. It was about a page long too! Oh well.
In short, I mentioned that the theme is fine but the rule of not allowing other action figures to represent human characters is a very unwelcome limitation. Unwelcoming enough for me to be totally turned off by the theme this month. A LEGO head or hand-drawn figure posed with Transformer toys is not going to look good at all. You can see my other post on page three for a better rationale of why other figures should be used and how they can be used to enhance, not distract.
I also mentioned that the contest appears to not be very well thought out. Ideas were solicited and not used (which you explained, so okay). The due date was not provided in the original post (you fixed that too). Another point I wanted to make now, though,is that due date is too far away.
The problem with the previous photo contest is that you'd get a bunch of entries in the first week to ten days, and then only a few would trickle in over the remaining few weeks. Then the judging would take several weeks. Sometimes five weeks would pass between a photo entry and the final results. When people have to wait long, interest wanes.
If I were you I'd have the contest last ten days and have the judging done within four days after the end (even if not all of the judges voted yet).
I'd also change the no action figure rule. As you can see, not many people are entering. Change the rule and they will come.

Laps of Reason I'm not so sure that the "no action figure rule" is the reason no one has entered yet. While yes this is one where a limited variety (figures in police uniform only) should be allowed; I belive the majority of participants in this contest will be those who are willing to put a good deal of time and effort into taking a good photo instead of simply taking something funny and posting that.

What about humanoid figures that have been released as part of the Transformers brand. Are they allowed?
Energon kicker, PVC spike, PVC daniel, the little diaclone sized spike and sparkplug, or any of the headmaster/targetmaster guys come to mind.

Well since they are Transformers figures (even if they arn't transformers themselves) I don't see why they wouldn't be allowed.
My personal response though: Humans? I don't need no stinking humans

OK,
I'll be keeping this contest open and allow it run all the way through. I'm really hoping to work with various people and impliment other aditions and reforms to the contest so next month will be better suited.
Thank you everyone for your suggestions and help thus far.

Were you here for the Photo contests before?
Also, congrats to leetwarrior (too lazy to type the numbers)... and yes I am intentionally kissing ass to gain favour in our wonderful and handsome judges eyes.
No, I was simply to lazy to erase the rest of his post so that only the thing with the frontpage would be left.
Sorry for being lazy

I think we definitely need to cut Neko some slack here. We asked for the Photo Contest and she gave it to us.
What we're dealing with here is a total rebuild of the contest. Some of the original organizers are not involved and therefore we are starting from scratch. Neko's idea for a guest judge is great. Also, the fact that in the next contest (in addition to the judge draw) a contestant suggested theme will be chosen. These are two great ideas to spark interest.
Another issue brought up is that the contests are maybe spread over too long of a time period. Here;s a suggestion, what if first the theme is announced.... then a week or two later there is a short period of time where entries will be accepted (like maybe 3-10 days or something) and immediately after the entry deadline closes, judging begins.
Now, I realize that judging takes time and is difficult to coordinate but if entries are somehow judged and scored (providing that scoring photos individually will be implemented in the contests again.) during the submission period it could possibly speed things up.
For example, say the contest is announced on a Monday...
Participants then have X days to think about it and make it happen.
After X days, a submission thread is opened. This thread runs for Y days and half way through, the first half is judged.
The second 1/2 of Y is still open for entries and then at the end of it all, the last half is Judged.
Consequently, the results should be provided sooner as the tallying of the points is already half done by contest end.
What do you guys think?
Also, this thread should really be stickied again... it would make a lot easier to find and less likely to get lost in all the "Waahh! I Can't find 08 BumbleBee! OMG LOLZ!!!1" threads.

Or possibly rename it to "Photo Contest ENTRIES ONLY Thread".

I know this photo challenge isn't even close to being finished yet, but I got an idea for one, and I have to post it, incase I forget it.
Heroes and Villians.
Pose your Transformers performing heroic acts(saving children from a burning fire, holding up a collapsing wall, etc.), or your Transformers causing dasterdly acts like hostage situations, theft, etc. Or even have one side stop the other from performing said deed!
Outside figures would be permitted, within reason. Spider-Man wouldn't make sense, but a generic hostage or policeman in peril would be ok.

Question about the rules: does it have to be road related? Or can it be about another kind of law?

What kind of law are you inquiring specifically? Initially, the laws of the Sky apply as well as those of the road. Any law in which vehicles of any kidn must abid by. I realize that's not very clear in the theme. I apologize.

What is there isn't any police presence in the photo, but the law-breaking is still clear, such as in my example below?:
