As for Predacons/Decepticons the time travel in Beast Wars has always been like in Dr Who, it's difficult to cross time paths. Yes Megatron does it with the sleeping G1 bots, but that can be explained by heavy influence from the Golden Disk. Yes The Preds go back to the Beast Wars in The Gathering, but this is also explained, & Magmatron makes precautions so as not to effect the past. The Transwarp technology was designed with limitation, so it would be improbable for one to go back & affect ones own past.
This is also a follow on from Beast Machines, meaning it is meant to be written as if cannon. Going back in time & effecting the Decepticons would compromise the continuity, & continuity is very important to the success of the comic & personally, I'm going to be putting a lot of effort into this comic, especially as this next year is Senior Year for me, so include this to my already hectic schedule of work, I have a lot to do. I'm not saying I don't want to do this, I asked to help because I really want to do something like this but I can't script serious stuff, I just don't want to do this without doing it properly. I really would like this to be a success & for it to boost my art status not only on the Internet but possibly professionally. I doubt Noise has though of this before but If this turns out really good we could get it published. I know someone who's got their own comic published, when we've finished, or got a good way through, I could ask him how he did it, possibly, you know... Don't take that the wrong way, I want to have fun making this, & I'm not in it with an intent to get it published or anything, It just occurred to me that this could be a serious boost, especially as College is coming up.

My point is yes this is a comic for the fans, & yes there are A LOT of G1 fans who'd like to see the original Transformers cast in everything, but you can't have the same things every time. Hell I was very tempted to ask Noise to find a way to bring Optimus Primal back, just because I thought It'd be weird without him & any Beast Wars series should have him, but I stopped because that would really mess up the comic.

So to summarize, no more G1 characters, no time travel more than CybertronBeast Wars Earth, no fan pleaser's. If we do this solely to appeal to G1 & Beast Wars fanboys then we might as well just write a Beast Wars/G1 crossover & forget continuity. In fact I think we should get some more original characters.
I'd like to quickly suggest to Noise (underlined so he can see this) that after the big battle at the end of the earth part of the series we kill of some major characters, don't discuss it here, should keep it secret, but maybe get new followers for Magmatron, maybe a fatal disaster on the Maximal side? What you think? Then I could get a chance to design completely new characters, no prompts, apart from your suggestions of course! Yay! Lets discuss it in the next PM.

Yes, I drew that way to big The day I drew Leo & Sabre I was nursing a massive head ache & my drawings were very off. I couldn't be bothered to redo the whole head so I just decided to leave it at that.

As shown in the design work on the first page His head will be his Beast Wars head, of course tweaked a little, & made a little less wolfy, but he will have a battle mask which he will wear most of the time on earth. I can really imagine a set of panels where he flicks his mask forward (It's forms from pieces on his shoulders & back) like Bumblebee does his battle mask in the movie.

Noise, If you read this make sure you remember to add this in during his first fight scene.

At the moment it's on the table for the future.
We're still only on the first pages of script, & I've had no time to even start drawing properly. I believe Rampage (Or a similar idea, maybe not by the same name as he died, don't know yet) will come in after the earth arc, as we plan to spend time on earth, then back on Cybertron, etc etc etc. Maybe, if he is Rampage resurrected, he can come back & latch onto the spaceship as they go back to Cybertron. When we get closer to writing that part we'll let you know & get you involved.

I've thought about that actually. I have no idea what will be happening in the Cybertron arc, no idea at all, but If & when Rampage comes in I think his death should either be something spectacular, maybe involving Primus, or something like dumping him on a far away planet, like the Maximals had planned. However I'd prefer not to talk about his end too much here as I don't want to spoil the end of his arc.

Oh, no don't apologize. I was just explaining why it was so delayed, I wasn't annoyed or anything. Nah, it hasn't been forgotten, theres just lots of other stuff I've got to worry about. But fear not, it will come.
