I agree with this.. Except the SB..

IMHO
Super Bowl: Patriots vs. Saints

And that would SUCK because I love both teams..

Really? How do ya figure that? And the Seahawks QB is Tavaris Jackson...there seriously hasn't been a starting QB that bad in the league since all of the Raiders last QB draft picks...

The NFC West is poopy. I was actually gonna go with the 49ers, but none of them are very good. I guess I could switch the Cards and the 9ers...but if the Cards with the division, the other wild card spot will go to the Bears.

As for the Raiders, I picked them because I want to see them do it. Yeah, it'll probably the Chargers, or hell, even the Broncos, but I just like throwing in one true wild card for a prediction. :P

the broncos are an interesting bet considering they benched that over hyped nutsack tim tebow. I understand that one QB does not a team make, so I reserve judgment

What a game! I was pulling for the Saints to tie it up for overtime. It would have been an awesome start to the year, no matter who won.

Funny fact about last night: my fantasy QB was Aaron Rodgers. My WIFE'S fantasy QB was Drew Brees. We had a good night...heh heh.

I sincerely thought that the Saints were going to pull it off as both defenses just really seemed overmatched last night. There was one call that was blown though...I think it was the second TD for the Packers, the long one...the WR (Nelson I think) clearly pushed off from the cornerback.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

I am in my recliner. It is Sunday. I am watching Da Bears. And to top it all off, we have an Ed "Biceps" Hochuli sighting. Life is good.

On a side note, I will never forget...ever.

have to admit...I did NOT see that Steelers-Ravens game coming. Figured it would be a close one.

On the other hand, I also did not see the Bears ass-whooping of the Falcons. Atlanta is a damned good football team and the Bears made them look like amateurs. Stunned the hell out of me...if the Bears win next week, suddenly that week 3 matchup with the Packers is HUGE.

Though things looked scary in the first half with Brady's interception and the Dolphins keeping up, the Pats managed to pull of the stops at the end and put the fins in their place. The defense was disappointing, but the offense was going on all cylanders.

Man, I don't like the Patriots, but I gotta give it to Brady for that performance last night. He's definitely in the top 5 QBs of all time. Hopefully he got it all out of him though and deflates. :P Can't wait for the Jets-Pats game.

I feel privileged that I got to see both historic plays last night: Brady's record 99 yard TD to Welker (made my wife happy; Welker is on her fantasy team) AND Sebastian Janikowski's 63 yard field goal. It's always neat to see history made. Beyond that, the Patriots really need to worry- they were getting rolled by Chad Henne and a Dolphins offense that really shouldn't have put up as much as it did. THe Pats D is extremely suspect and I think will be exposed when it comes up against a really good offense with lots of weapons. THe Raiders and the Broncos was a matchup of bad vs bad, I think. Neither team is going to win more than 6 games this year, I suspect. Still, it's nice to have football back. Once the hockey season starts, I'll be in 7th heaven again

So Denver Bronco fans are still chanting for Tebow, as if he's the second coming of Elway. Do you think things will get worse if they don't put him in, or if they do put him in and he flops? Of course, there's always the chance that they put him in and he does improve their offense, but his chances are no better than with Orton or Quinn.

No, i don't think Tebow is the answer for this year. Orton is an underrated QB, but there are not a lot of weapons in Denver for him to use. I fully expect the Broncos to have another top 5 draft pick this year.
