yeah, like i said take the story and cop chases from MW, the costimizing options from carbon with the sellection of prostreet and EA has the perfect NFS game.

update from wikipedia on the new need for speed it sounds great!

EA Games president Frank Gibeau has confirmed that the next Need for Speed installment is in development. He also stated that due to the fact that the sales of ProStreet didn't live up to EA's hopes for the game, the franchise will go back to its roots with a number of features, including open-world racing and a new highway battle mode.[4]

It's expected that the game will feature a brand new game mechanic and a "Most Wanted-ish" sandbox style of gameplay. An official announcement is expected to be made in the beginning of July at the latest.[5]

Platforms, screenshots, videos and news are to be announced.

also just got underground 2. And i have to say it rox. It's a little easier to drive and the car selection is decent. I love my civic!

I bought Underground 2, it's pretty good, but I'm stuck. I finished all the stage 2 races in the garage world map and I'm pretty sure I got all the races in the city. How do I check this? I can't forward the story and there's no more races in stage 2. How do I get a new contract? I'm pretty sure I fufilled it.

Sadly, at least according to IGN, it sucks. They gave it a 4 out of 10.

This is 2 NFS games in a row that have sucked now. I'm gettin sick of this ****. For a while it was my yearly ritual picking up the latest and greatest NFS game. Now they all suck. What gives?

I bought it and I like it. True it is alittle buggy in spots, I really got into the game. The cars are great and the story ain't so bad. I really like taking down crew members, just the way you get alittle rush from driving at breakneck speeds and smashing into the other car to take it out. Cop chases are good but not as fun as most wanted, it almost seems more of a shore to take them out now rather than fun. Cars are pretty easy to get and customizing is decent thought a step down from carbon. Right now I have a yeallow and black Bumblebee camaro, a silver Jazz Solstice, a stock tt that I won, and a black and red Evo. Overall, I give the game a 8/10 not as good as carbon and most wanted but not nearly as bad as prostreet. Give it a rent and see.

I haven't finished it yet, but I love it. A few things missing, I feel, but overall I am having tons of fun. I'll just get into pursuits because I feel like it.
I use a Lime green/black Mustang.
But did you really expect much else?
