Hadn't seen this one before:

Our expedition team came across a strange colony that had been abandoned eons ago. After landing, our crew started to suffer from a high fever caused by an alien virus. It has been learned that this virus wiped out the entire civilization on the planet. Our expedition team is heading home to treat the sickened crew members. Unfortunately we had to abort the mission and we come home empty handed.

just wait till you find a alien and they take over your crews minds,or get too close to a black hole,or get attacked by pirates,but old forgotten worlds,worlds lost in wars,and old pirate stations pay off nicely, i think my best scouting mission i took home 2 sm cargos and 9 probes,but the missions are all fun all the same.

yes i play Ogame,if anybody ever wants to be buddies send me a message,and i will try and get a colony near you in a area.the more friends the better your odds in Ogame.

How are everyone do?

I am so bored because i cannot attack anyone yet as i have to finish work on my defense and fleet before suck a planet dry before move on. I know most of the member got small mining level and 1 or 2 colonies, it is time for you spread across the galaxies, like g5, there are load of quiet system so you can claim that part as SEIB's area. Like i say if you got 3 or 4 planets with level 15, you get 4x of resource incomes and increase your points quick.

Also attack inactive player so you can increase more points.

I do not recommend build an armada of fleets because they are so expensive and take time to build them so you should increase your minings, shipyard, robot factory and defense to protect overnight resource. When you got a well defense and good mining which can build 100 LF per day then you are set for the life.

when i am was in newbie protection in uni 20, there are over 15 inactive farms near me so i build 40 SC and attack all farms at same time and make 300k of resource everyday.

Listen to the little grey man, it's what I've been doing in U20 and I've shot past most of you.
So Galaxy 5 is mainly empty? I've been hopping to find an empty system to claim as my own. Do we know if there's any way to abandon the Homeworld?

errr, you could click 'abandon colony' maybe?

There are a few inactive farms around me. Well, one or two.
I'm hitting two in each universe atm. So hopefully I'll be getting about 25k out of each (I've been putting off lvl 4 impulse because of the price- and it's been rather tempting to upgrade my offensive and defensive systems on my ships- but this might just cover it).

Otherwise, things are pretty quiet.

We'll have Daneki check his espionage logs, and launch a few ships at ones we think are you. (I don't know what that'll acheive, but I think maybe the one that defeats him will be you).

Sorry dude, you are stick with your homeworld

but you can increase the field slot of your homeworld use terraformer.

Also most of my farms are gone

cause i make them quit ogame after i spend 1 month suck them dry

Unfortunately your farming strategy is pretty flawed short weird grey alien dude.

Uni 37 is quite crowded and at this stage VERY active. You might get 1 or 2 inactive planets per sector with 6 or more active planets. And also because the universe is new a lot of those inactive planets rarely have mines over level 4.

So what worked for you in Uni 20 probably won't work in Uni 37 (not until more people give up, and i'm doing a good job of bombing them back to the stone age). Your best bet is to build up a fleet of cruisers and LC's and go after opponents with minimal defenses but are stockpiling resources for big upgrades.

Agreed, smashing their defenses and dashing their hard earned loot while quickly filling your pockets is the way to go! at least, it works for me! Just don't be a repeat offender on the same planet too regularly; you don't want them to remember you from all the other #@%! out there who are also looting them....

...although one cat I raided last week tried a revenge attack a few hours later; now there's a nice DF floating at the edge of my planet. Haven't heard from him since

Your expedition took gorgeous pictures of a super nova. Nothing new could be obtained from the expedition, but at least there is good chance to win that "Best Picture Of The Universe" competition in next months issue of OGame magazine.

Edit: however it does mean he's within 100-150 systems or so of me (2:186) because, with a very few exceptions, that's as far away as I probe to avoid being ninja'd.

And yes I realise that's a large amount of space to cover lol.

It's one of those things that's gonna niggle away at me all day long.

I just know those searing pains in the back of my head today were Burn's doing

The 3k deut is on it's way to you Dan, no doubt you know that.

I might save up a bit more and make another set of colonies. I like having multiple planets in each uni. And I love the name Neo Blaston.
It strikes a chord with me.

Given, it's been a bit of a drain setting these planets up with defences, but I can see a big fat profit coming up this weekend. =P~
