I think this was written to be season finale, not a SERIE finale. Unfortunately, Hasbro has "to sell toys" for the ROTF toyline and has cancelled animated toyline.

And we all know that they won't keep a show without a toyline on the air!

I think you are right this dosent feel like a series ender but rather a series finale.

Remember they were working on Animated for 12 months almost during that long break after Season 2 ended last year.

I think the reason we got so many new episodes all at once is because they made 2 seasons together season 3 for the summer and they will show season 4 this winter or Q1 2010 in Janurary sometime.

This is my theory, look we got no re-runs in this season..

Also they are no current plans on the next TF Series after animated.

I think they should do 1 more additional season so they can get it together in time and figure out what the next series will be and make it good.

Also Animated should be around for awhile until all the unaswered questions are finished, they could drag out animated until they get the gears ready to roll on the next series.

Also it would be stupid to cancel animated giving its ratings on each episode and how popular it has become not only with kids but also well just about everybody well heck I am currently 28 now and I like it but then again I did grow up with transformers from the 80's.

But that isnt the reason I like animated I think it was better than G1 and I really enjoy it.

To me this has been the best series since Beast-Wars but I did enjoy the Unicron Trilogy it just wasnt my fav in the series.

That would belong to Beast Wars & Animated.

I cant wait to an announcement is made so we can find out what is what.

When I was doing research while animated s3 was in the process of being made.

I came across something that had animated season 4 listed for winter 2009.

But you can take that for a grain of salt cause I dont remember the place I saw the info at.

If this was a series conclusion this episode would be alot more epic than this.

Remember "Endgame" has not always been a series ender it was in Babylon 5 - Season 4 it ended the Clark Civil War and got 1 more season making it 5 seasons and more additional movies were also made.

Once again, this is Hasbro. They are, first and foremost, a toy company. It's not about the show, and never has been with them.

I was hoping that Animated could be come another Unicron Trilogy not necessarily done in that way but similar.

Animated would be the Opening showing us how everything came to be sort of an origins story.

the second one would be more meat of the story clearing up more of the unanswered questions and throwing in some new characters and more unique story plots. Also the second chapter would be more darker and ending on a bad note for the Autobots.

the 3rd and final chapter would be the ending of the story - it will show the Autobots still getting it handed to them but eventually rebounding and winning but it will cost them a ultimate sacrifice and they will be many casulties on both Autobots and Decepticons before the epic conclusion.


This is my idea on how to make animated into a Trilogy although I dont know what I would call the other 2 series but they would be a direct continutation of Animated but with diffrent names other than animated.

All the characters would be in it, also it would be introducing new ones as seen in the new Character Sketches and Art Work we have been seen floating around on the web and at Derrick Wyatt's homepage.

This is my idea but I know it wont come to be.

I have a gut feeling that the next series will be based off of either one of the Comic Books or one of the Toy Lines maybe Henkei or Universe.

But hey I dont know I am just doing random theories.

My point in saying it was incorrect was in the interchanging of "season" and "series".

To be accurate a "series ender" is not the end or a "season" it is the end of the series.

i had a feeling thats what it was about. but technically it is the end of the season as well so i just thought the COMPLETELY and TOTALY were a little harsh thats all.

but enough of that

there are a lot of issues that they need to address before animated is over, the main issues for me are:

1 this is kind of minor but i've really been hoping that sentinel gets what he deserves, i mean he's a major a-hole!

2 the explanation of sari

3 the fate of mix and dirt boss

4 another minor one (for me), the fate of blurr

5 obviously wrap up the events of endgame pt 1

thats about it i think...

and a side note, if there is infact no season 4 and soundwave doesnt appear in endgame part 2, i wish he would have been officaly destroyed, it would have been way cooler. same with the constructions and the predicons. i dont like the uncertin fate of charicters, i perfer closure. i hate the, they are dead...or are they??? i say if they are not going to be in the show anymore, destroy them!!!

other than that (if it is truly over) animated has been fun, may it rest in peace but live on in our memories, dvds, and toy collections!

I am hoping that they will turn Animated into another Unicron Trilogy not that way but better Animated being the beginning.

The next one will be a spin-off or a direct continuation.

But my gut says the next tf-series will be completly new and completly diffrent maybe off of the toy lines or some of the comics.

Hey who knows no one does for the moment these are pure speculations for now.

I hope some sort of announcement will be made at Botcon soon rather it will be about the ending or another season of animated we need some closure on this cause animated is almost done will be done this saturday.

So we need to know what is next for transformers. Will it be another season of animated making it a season 4.

Will it be a spin-off or maybe a trilogy type deal.

Or will it be a new series in a new direction

Do you actually want them to not answer some questions and just keep us in the dark for another whole year?!!!

I'm sick and tired of all the secrets this series keeps from the audience. I was outraged by the amount of time we had to wait just to get an episode response to season 2's cliffhanger finale.

The last thing this series needs is more secrets. Enough with hiding the various truths already! Let this final episode be a grand revelation to all/most of the unanswered questions!

As for a season 4, I'm good with that. But let this episode give us some answers!

Look Endgame prt 1 really didnt bring nothing to the table what makes you think they can cram that much into Endgame 2 when an episode only last about 22 minutes. (Without Commercials)

Too me this dosent feel as epic as season 2's "A Bridge too Close".

I could be wrong cause we havent seen Endgame 2 yet nor have we seen a upcoming preview to make some educated guesses on it.

We know that the Omega Lugnuts are headed to Earth also Optimus and Magnus's Hammer will also come into play cause the Cons need that Hammer cause it contains the Security code.


I am wondering if Sari will be in this cause in Endgame 1 she really didnt even have a moment in it as it mostly flash backs and about OP learning how to Fly.

So what makes you think that Endgame 2 will bring us some closure.

I hope I am wrong, sorry about going off, I am just disappointed with Endgame it dosent feel as epic as season 2 was.

But like I said before we still dont know whats instore for Endgame 2 so I dont and I dont have a right to say anything about something no one has seen yet.

All I'm asking to have this episode answer some of the bigger questions. I know it can't answer then all without making it lack some good action scenes, but at least let it reveal some of the series' bigger mysteries.

If a fourth season is needed to answer the remaining questions, then let those be ones of lesser significance than the more nerve-racking ones.

Yes I would want some of the bigger ones wrapped up but the only reason I want a cliffhanger at this point is to insure the series isn't over and I pesonally don't think all the loose ends can get tied up in this final episode, especially with what is rumored to happen.

Hate to break it to ya, but that's not the best question to ask, especially at this time.

All I can say is that we'll all have to wait till this year's BotCon, when Hasbro will reveal the fate of Transformers Animated.

No one knows the fate of animated with this saturday's Endgame rounding up season 3 and closing the season out.

On rather or not animated will go beyond a season 4 or will it be finished for good with endgame.

Also what is not known is rather or not will animated continue as a spin-off of some sort or will they do the series in a trilogy fashion as done with the Unicron Trilogy.

Or will the next series be nothing do with Animated done in a newer way and maybe some diffrent art work maybe a CGI one like the MS Igloo cartoon was made.


We dont know, people say something may happen at Botcon which is at the end of the month. Botcon is also were Animated made its debut were they showed it and announced it.

So if anything is going to be said or done it will be at Botcon.

s250 also has first-hand knowledge of it being cancelled, but who knows Hasbro might have changed their mind in the mean time.

Irrelevant. None of those shows are managed by the same people. And even so, King of the Hill and Terminator are aired on Fox, they had a huge chance of being canceled from the get-go.

Where did I hear it? Where didn't I hear it? ROTF has been all over the news on this site for months now! How could you have missed that? When I said "TF movie," I said nothing about it being Animated.
