Same goes for the female character. They may of changed her name but the design looks ALOT like G1 Fire Star.

I repeat she looks like Firestar.

Flairup is a repaint of Energon Arcee in Firestar's colors and the character who appeared on Animated doesn't look an Arcee repaint to me. Therefore she looks like Firestar.

I'd say she looks like a combo of both. Got the firestar head and the body similar to an Energon Arcee Repaint -- done in the style of TF Animated, of course.

I do not like TFA Grandus. This one is big, stupid, and cowardly towards organics. G1 Grandus is NOTHING like that. He was a capable warrior and one of the most elite soldiers of his time. This Grandus is just a sad knockoff.

Bumblebee wasn't a loud-mouth smart-ass, Ratchet wasn't a grumpy war vet, Prowl wasn't a Ninja, Blitzwing wasn't a schizophrenic German, and Scrapper and Mix Master weren't stereotypical construction workers based off of Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci. You can't criticize a character because they don't resemble whoever they're based off of.

I know, I know. But this one really demeened the character. The changes made to the other characters were either to make them cooler, funnier, or just differetn in a positive way.

This one was different in a negative way.

But Sentinel, Jazz and Ulta Magnus acted in a similar way towards humans when they first encountered them.

I think Jazz was waiting for the right time to jump ship before it came gliding into port with a huge patroitic Mission Accomplished banner and Sentinal in an airfighter jacket saying that the war is over...but stay tuned!

Is it just me or when Sentinal in his propaganda video commerical said "I'm Sentinal Prime and I approve this message," I waited for him him to add "Taco's rule!"

Few more movie references; Lethal Weapon, the Godfather, 2001: A Space Odyssey. They are really packing on the movie/pop culture references this season.

But the best part of this episode; the "Sari is Arcee" argument is finally, officially, permanently dead. And she's probably going to play a big part in the season/series finale. And she remembers Ratchet's name! Perhaps just to spite Perceptor.

Rattletrap is very based off of Rattrap. I was hearing doubt to that. For the voices, yeah, they're pretty close to the same. Both are based off of Louis Costello.

And of course, Sentinel has gone full-McCarthy. Everyone around you is probably a Decepticon! You can hardly blame him, after Shockwave, he'd probably be a bit paranoid. of course, that's no excuse for the red...erm, Purple Scare.

Well from my perpespectie season 3 will be the end of animated I hope to god I am wrong on this.

Yes I agree with you they are 2 many holes in animated that havent been answered yet.

But if animated is ending with season 3 like my gut says it will be then those holes will never be answered.


They say they are suppose to make an announcement about animated at the upcomg Botcon at the end of the month what that announcement is remains a mystery.

1. Could be announcing that animated will be finished for good

2. Could be announcing that animated will be getting 1 more final season.

3. Could be announcing another new series altogether.

Nothing will be known until that announcement is made.

All this talk about animated could be a misleading info campaign to throw us off about season 4.

* What is the fate of Soundwave and Laserbeak?
* Will Starscream ever get his body back?
** If not, what will become of it?
* Will the Starscream clones ever get named on screen?
* Where's Lockdown?
* What will become of Blackarachnia and Waspinator?
* What is the whole truth behind Sari's origin?
* Why does Fanzome really hate machines?
** Meaning, when did his hatred for them start and why?
* What has become of the human villains?
* What will become of the AllSpark?
** Will all of its shards ever be found and put back together?
* Will Optimus ever rise to greatness?
* Will Sentinel ever get what he really deserves?
* How and why does Fanzone's car keep reappearing after it's destroyed constantly?
* Where's Swindle gone?
* Will Ultra Magnus ever recover?
* Is the Magnus Hammer ever going to be called its "Stormbringer" name in the show?
* Who voiced Brawn?

I doubt that. They made such a huge deal about introduceing thoughs characters right from the get go it would be a waist never to show them again. I think they're going to have a big role in "End Game" hopefully get some interaction between the "Primes" on the show.

I'd love to see a huge fight scene that has Optimus, Sentinal, and Rodimus vs. The Decepticon formally known as Longarm. I think it would play out that Sentinal is shown for what he really is, a wimp who can't even fight a single Decepticon even with the help of 2 other Autobots or he'll rush in and attack before they even have a battle plan and get used as a Transformer sheild by Shockwave for the whole fight. At some point Megatron will come in and Rodimus will say something to the effect of "You go after Megatron, I can handle Shockwave."

There are a few season 3 characters that probly won't be seen ever again like Tracks, Cosmos, Rattletrap, ect. but Rodimus and Strika's teams have to make another appearance in End Game. I mainly just want to see more Rodimus but both teams have to come back.

Going back to Starscream's comment about picking up hitchhikers...

If the current crew abord Omega Supreme are a homeage to "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" That would make Omega Supreme the Heart of Gold or Eddie (Eddie being the ship's computer). Shockwave would be Zaphod sence he's the one on the ship who has 2 heads even though one of them is just a disguse and bonus he allso has 3 eyes. (Longarm has 2 eyes and Shockwave IS an eye.) Arcee is Trillian being the only female on board. Megatron and Lugnut would be Ford and Arthur respectively. And that leaves Starscream as Marvin, the bot no one elce on board even cares enough about to fix the diodes on the left side of his, oh I mean, to reattach his body.

There should of been a Decapitated head in season 2, that would be really great. If they make another series based off Animated I think they should keep that as a running gag. Q: Rodimus/Strika and their crews, have we seen the last of them in Season 3?
A: They may get some small cameo screen time, but that was their big moment for this season.

I could care less (personally) about the human villains, although the fate of Meltdown is an interesting question. Mayor Edsel? Meh. Fanzone's reason for hating machines? I figured it's obvious -- they just don't work the way he wants them too -- ever. I'm not looking for some flashback to his past. I don't think it's necessary... it's just an ongoing problem with machines.

That episode was great, It was nothing like what I was expecting it to be. A Cybertron centered episode is great. I guess Jazz just couldn't take being ordered around by Sentinal anymore. Just the season finale left now, I'm a bit sad about that but I'm sure it will be great.

Maybe they were created after Omega was made? But then again, the Omega Supreme lab is in Metroplex.
I think they will transform, not necessarily into robots but more like from one base-mode into another more weapon-laden mode.
But then again, Metroplex actually seems to have a head.....

Yeah, if they transformed I doubt it would be into anything that suits a function like Omega Supreme, they'd probably be restricted to remaining on planet indefinitely. Whereas Omega Supreme was designed to be a space faring weapon of mass destruction, not a city/fortress.

I think Derrick Wyatt in a (TFcon?) Q & A said that Season 2 kind of hinted at the fate of the stolen protoforms. So... I take that to mean that Starscream used them to make the clones.

And why? The war was over. They had no more need for any giant robots.

But yeah I'd say that they (or at least Fort Max) would change into a weapon-armed form. But I wouldn't exactly call that an actual "transformation", more like a "conversion". This is mainly due to the commonest use of the word "transform", in this series, as to change from one object into a "robot mode". Now I know it has been used otherwise to refer to changing into any other mode such as a "battle station mode" or simply a "battle mode". But, saying that these two buildings might "transform" could cause some confusion as the first thing to come to the mind of just about anyone would be the possibility of them assuming robot modes.

Anyways, I doubt that The Metroplex would change at all, as it is a government building, rather than a military building which is more likely to assume a battle form.

As for Fortress Maximus, which is a military building, it could change to reveal a bunch of hidden weaponry behind its fortress walls. Though, I doubt it will actually change form, aside from that giant cannon atop its central tower.

In other words, I see no robot modes for either building, there's no need for The Metroplex to convert at all, and Fortress Maximus could open up some guns and weapons, but nothing too drastic of a change in form.

I agree with Saberblade I highly doupt either of them have much in way of robot modes. As to gun enplacements I agree with as well. Metroplex if it does have any weapons it would be very few maybe just enough to keep the Cons busy while the government officals are evaced nothing that could hold up for a while.

Fort max on the other hand because it is mlitary instilation more than likely have alot more suprises in terms of firepower it might actually have a flight mode. Mind you the flight mode could probably only be accessed on Ultra Magnus and couple Primes. IE it more than likely would take three people to activated Fort Max's flight mode.

As to weither Fort Max or Metroplex are sentient no I don't think they are. If anything both would have a rather simple AI which is target decepticons and fire and not much else.



With some hope a season 4 will be created and Fort Max will crash on earth! and become sentient through some Allspark fragments.
