It's actually somewhat common in fiction for things to work like that, freeing the people held captive by a spell by taking out the guy casting it. I suppose Dark Energon had something to do with it as well.
Same reason why every con in Chicago got sucked into the space bridge at the end of DOTM, when the pillars/Sentinel were destroyed.

Exactly. Or like in FEAR, where after you kill Paxton Fettel, all of the Replicas he's controlling shut down.
Point is, it is a bit on the convenient side, but it's a fairly commonly-used thing. Also, what would you have them do? Stay in stasis for the rest of the series?
njb902 wrote:well they could have had the stasis effect just wear off.

It did, though. It was just tied to Trypticon because Dark Energon is just wacky sometimes.

A lot of Knockout! So much paint damage!
You misunderstand. They didn't say that an "Autobot" would die, but that simply a "main character" would die. Breakdown already did. So that casualty, my friend, is already covered.SlyTF1 wrote:When will an Autobot die? The anticipation is killing me.

Your welcome. Glad to be of help. Anytime, buddy.SlyTF1 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:You misunderstand. They didn't say that an "Autobot" would die, but that simply a "main character" would die. GAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!! I knew it was too good to be true, what with the Autobots winning(almost)every single episode in the damn series.
You could do that (as it's only a 15 minute wait). Or, if you'd rather, here's the YouTube version.crazyjeffy wrote:Is there anyway to watch this episode online or do I have to wait until the 11:30 encore?

Sabrblade wrote:In fact, I bet the next few episodes will also have a very Matrix Quest feel to them, what with the 'Bots/'Cons searching in four locations for a sacred relic in each, and possibly culminating in a finishing episode that ties the four relic hunting episodes together. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Not 100% confirmed, as we don't know if there will be one more episode to round up all four searches into a decisive conclusion just as "All Fall Down!" had done in that story arc.Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:In fact, I bet the next few episodes will also have a very Matrix Quest feel to them, what with the 'Bots/'Cons searching in four locations for a sacred relic in each, and possibly culminating in a finishing episode that ties the four relic hunting episodes together. Confirmed. The next episode focuses on Optimus' side of the story, after that Ratchet and Wheeljack team up, and then I'm assuming the fourth will be Bulkhead. I'd be willing to bet what Fowler was shouting over communications will play a part in one of them.

They're the Autobots, of course they win every time. What is wrong with you, you're acting like you've never seen Transformers before.
Those Autobots were not warriors or soldiers in Animated. These ones are. There's a difference between the Cons fighting a bunch of inexperienced rookies and politicians, and the Cons fighting well capable soldiers.SlyTF1 wrote:Shadowman wrote:SlyTF1 wrote:GAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!! They didn't win every time in Animated! The Decepticons where actually a threat in that show! It took all of the Autobots just to take down Starscream and they needed the Allspark to do that! In Prime, it's too damn easy! They shoot a Decepticon once or twice and they run away.

I'm actually looking forward to this one since it's also a Dreadwing and Starscream episode too. Both characters have shown shades of gray in their personalities, and since the episode is supposed to deal with Optimus forging alliances with his enemies, this can only be filled with great character development for both Seekers (though, I'm expecting more for Dreadwing than I am Starscream, since Dreadwing and Optimus seem to hold a certain level of respect for each other).crazyjeffy wrote:Now it's another week until another Optimus-centric 'sode,
