man those fully energized insecticons are tough. they must have shot the thing a hundred times and it had no apparent damage. it also appeared to creep out knock out.

Actually, if you look closely, it appears the insecticon was shielded! That could have been the hit effects, but still, it looked like he had a forcefield.

Well, I for one one hope he gets pinned against one and effortlessly plunges his swords through its mouth and out the back of its neck. There's a reason his skill and courage are 9/10 on his tech specs XD

Tunnel Vision was, like a lot of season two, average.

it didn't engage me much at all, to be fair i think the 2nd season isn't matching up to the 1st at all.

Kind of a retroactive thought here. I recently realized that, back in "Crossfire", Megatron wasn't surprised to see an Insecticon on Earth, nor was he overly preturbed about the swarm of them in "Armada." It's possible he wasn't that surprised because he sent the hive to Earth.

Or just because he's being Megatron.

Funny, I think the 2nd season is much better. Last season I'd watch an episode and enjoy it, but only a few I'd want to rewatch.

Optimus states that ratchet's scientific and wheeljacks a warrior... maybe that means jackie won't be the inventor that created the dinobots? I'm sure next week will touch up on other sides of jackie we haven't seen.

Everytime I see him, I like Dreadwing more and more. I feel like we finally got a good look at his whole model and animations and he looks really cool. Can't wait until the voyager comes out. It looks amazing.

I think SS should've focused on his surgery. It seems pretty stupid to defenselessly wander into a wasteland when you know hostiles are there.

Seeing optimus shoot makes me really wish the powerizer didn't come with a crap gun.

Oh snap. DW has a sword. Didn't see that coming. he better not be dead. Not after how much I'm starting to like him.

That leaves OP and SS one on one. I don't recall ever seeing them alone. Didn't expect im to hold screamer at gunpoint.

thank the allspark he's not dead. Glad to see he can take more of a beating than his twin.

So it IS the apex armor, and it still looks meh... maybe its just because its starscream?

DW proves again he's more durable than skyquake.

Big boom... Didn't do jack. ... bigger booom...yikes. I really hope he's not dead :/ REALLY HOPE.

Good. He's not.

Pretty good 'sode. Still more excited for next week though. Gonna be SICK

The dinobots were not created by Wheeljack in this continuity! <-MEMORIZE DAT ****!

Ok, that episode was just, WOW.

You ever stop to think tht the makers of prime refer to us fans' fanboards for bits of the story? I mean, so much thats been predicted has come true, and only from perspective, NOT what has already been confirmed!

So, when you fuse all these relics, you essentially get an un touchable god. I mean, he can walk through walls, create anything he wants with the forge, be indestructable with the armor, take other cybertronian's sparks. If you combine everything, you get an unstoppable god. And thats just whats been found so far! there was also he energon extractor and that freeze ray thing. Seriously...

To be fair, Solus' hammer can only be used as the Forge by a Prime. Though even without the ability to make stuff, it's still a giant freaking hammer belonging to one of the Original 13, getting hit with it would hurt.

Really good episode, but then I'm a sucker for any time the Autobots and Decepticons team up.

Episode 39 -

Oh, Starscream's gonna get a new T-Cog installed.

Er, nevermind. He's postponed it due to other concerns.

Bulkhead's off on his own mission (wherever that may be).

Heh, cute scooter, Screamer.

FASTER, YOU PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR TRANSPORTATION!!!

Starscream mistakens Dreadwing for Skyquake.

Eh, what's that? Someone's already beaten all three parties to the relic and has taken it? Who...?

DUDE! Dreadwing's using he sword that comes with his toy! Only, it's silver instead of yellow, but still! 8-) 8-) 8-)

Sorry, Screamer. You're wiliness will do you no good with Optimus.

Ah, so the relic's been excavated by humans and taken to a research facility. Guess that makes sense.

The relic is Decepticon-made armor. So much for it possibly being the Apex Armor.

Wait, it IS the Apex Armor?!! That. Makes. No! SENSE! :BOOM: The Apex Armor is an artifact of the Primes forged by Solus Prime herself. It predates the Autobot and Deceptcions factions! Either Starscream's mistaken of its origin, or someone behind this show messed up BIG time!

Starscream just can't ever catch a break.

A decent episode. More action-y and not as character driven as I had hoped, but alright. What we got of both Dreadwing and Starscream was good, but I kinda felt like there could have been more. Not to mention the whole mind-boggling "Decepticons made the Apex Armor" bit really irked me. Here's hoping next week's is good since it focus on Ratchet, Wheeljack, and Soundwave.

crazyjeffy wrote:Optimus states that ratchet's scientific and wheeljacks a warrior... maybe that means jackie won't be the inventor that created the dinobots? I'm sure next week will touch up on other sides of jackie we haven't seen.
While Wheeljack did used to be a mechanic for the Wreckers eons ago back during the war, he has since changed to fully embrace his warrior side.

And, like BeastProwl said, Wheeljack did not make the Dinobots. SHOCKWAVE did.

But one of the original 13 were discovered alive, but in stasis or something, wich he predates the :BOT: vs :CON: then can he use all of them, regardless?
They need to bring in a prime who will use it ALL, and it will require EVERYONES help to destroy it.

Probably, but keep in mind, most of the Original 13 wouldn't need this equipment in order to make scrapmetal out of both factions. The Fallen, for instance, was able to wipe the floor with Grimlock and it took direct intervention from Primus in order to stop him in the end.

...it would be amazing if they brought in the Fallen, though.

SS has a very fluid perception of reality he can make any situation seem to be to his advantage in his own mind, so it dosnt really surprise me he just blurts out it being decepticon armour. since he is a decepticon he may not even relise his own prejudice on the matter and/or have it occur to him that a autobot or cybertronian could have been capable of making such a "weapon".

I love dreadwings gun...it has a built in grenade launcher and a bayonet.

as for dreadwing being more durable, how do you figure?

Awesome Episode. Great to see that Dreadwing and Optimus do work well together. And great to see that *niether* side drops their guard around Starscream - well, until its plot relevant, that is.

It'll be interesting to see how much damage Starscream will do now that he has the Apex Armor. As for it being called "Apex Armor," I don't mind. After all, the Apex Armor Starscream took may simply be named after the armor forged by Solus - after all, Megatron named *himself* after Megatronus Prime. It wouldn't be unlike him or the designer to name a Decepticon device after a sacred relic.

Dreadwing > skywarp

skyquake hit the ground traveling at 9.8 meters per second(more so if he was under thrust). dreadwing did not have a wall collapse on him just the debris wave after it hit the ground. there is no comparison in the kinetic forces they were each subjected to. plus skyquake had bumblebee ripping peices from his body.

You get an A for Effort but an F- in physics. It's 9.8 meters per second per second. Not a typo. A falling object accelerates (It's falling speed increases at 9.8m/s every second) until it reaches terminal velocity, which varies depending on the weight and aerodynamics of the object.

That said, that was easily a few dozen tons of ice and snow crashing down on Dreadwing. Not exactly hitting the ground at a couple hundred of miles an hour but it should have killed him.

This episode is one for Funny Moments

Ratchet: * referring to Fowler* "He's human..." There was was such, distaste, in that voice. O Doc when will you get over yourself...

Starscream: *peering under his hand* "Where are you my Decepticon brethren?"
and the Decepticon vespa! #-o

Fowler: "Don't trash the place."
Yeah right! =;

But I must say the dude can get results fast... :APPLAUSE:

Dreadwing: ...okay, I rarely say this about a Con but he is Awesome. 8) ;fearless, loyal, battle smarts.

So about the relic; did anyone else get a Michelin Man vibe?

The episode was good, and it is nice every now and then to have some more honourable fights.

One thing that did annoy me is the fancy, twirly, overly-complicated sword showing off.
Extremely impractical, and just looks silly, in my opinion.

Not exactly hitting the ground at a couple hundred of miles an hour but it should have killed him.

doh I knew that lol. none of the debris looked to have hit him directly though. looked, to me atleast, that just the resulting avalanche did.

edit: also I wish I was as smart as I think I am..........if I was going to be like one transformer why oh why did it have to be starscream
