Same here. Ever since the "Operation Bumblebee" 2-parter (or maybe since "Loose Cannons") the show has been consistently good, in my eyes.viruscarnage wrote:Honestly I barely care about the lack of Autobots deaths and how they killed Cliffjumper to set a tone that they didn't necessarily keep. I have been enjoying the show so much that it simply doesn't even phase me, I think the last episode I really didn't like at all was in Season 1.

As I've said in the past, there are only seven episodes in season 1 that I get any real consistent enjoyment out of.
A bit predictable, but okay.njb902 wrote:I still say the best episode of season one was the scraplet episode

In no particular order, those are the seven I like.

Yeah, I just meant "in no particular order related to my liking them". Guess I should have said that.viruscarnage wrote:Sabrblade wrote:"Predatory", "Sick Mind", "Out of His Head", "Crisscross", "Rock Bottom", "Partners", and "Stronger, Faster"

There is a particular order to that, it goes in order of when they aired.![]()
Oh no, I'm counting those too. I don't enjoy either "Darkness Rising" or "One Shall Rise".viruscarnage wrote:Is this excluding the season finale and Mini-series? I've seen people exclude those from the season for some reason.

The first time around, I felt that they both sucked.viruscarnage wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Oh no, I'm counting those too. I am rather surprised be honest I expected you to like those episodes.

Agreed. Plus the whole thing about Cliffjumper setting a tone or whatever, no one really cared about that character yet so it wasn't a huge deal that he died. It's completely different than one of the main characters dying now after seasons of development. And don't say you loved Cliffjumper because you're a huge cliffjumper fan or something, this is a whole new character on a new series. The purpose of that was to give Arcee all those emotional moments and whatnot.

Now... I find them to be slightly less bad than I originally felt.
In Go!'s defense, at least it wasn't trying too hard to be something it's not and do too much.viruscarnage wrote:So similar to how I feel about GO?

viruscarnage wrote:Yes at least it's not completely ripping of another series, or has extremely annoying characters like Energon.
At the the end of the day its a mini-series that will most likely be part of the Aligned Continuity,
and may play a role in the next series.

If you're talking about GO! not completely ripping of another series:
The main bad guy is accidentally reactivated and the bad guys are going after an artifact that the main human possesses.
PrymeStriker wrote:Also, I learned from a friend of mine that the plot plays out astoundingly similarly to another show Takara produces, which name escapes me

"Operation: Breakdown," "Metal Attaraction" (the best episode in Season 1, and at tie for best in the series with "The Human Factor" and "Thirst"), "Speed Metal," "Con Job," "Deus Ex Machina," and to an extent, "Darkness Rising, Part 1."
So, basically, nearly half the season I like. The others I don't hate, but don't care for either. The only episodes from season 1 I don't like are "Masters and Students" and "Convoy."

Here's the thing about Cliffjumper, the promotional material we got suggested he would be a main recurring character, that and the fact that he was finally his own design again and not just a Bumblebee repaint made us love him. Adding to that he was the main character in the (at the time) in cannon prequel comic, and he was the first character we got to see in the show. And then he died.
So yes that was a pretty big shock and we did feel it, but I agree after a while you just kinda forget about it and don't really care for him anymore.
But the Prime Beast Hunters toyline is going to keep going into Spring 2014, which will be at least eight months after the final episode airs this Friday.chaosmage42 wrote:-though i suspect the reason primes is ending is to clear out for the movie. toys for tf4.
