I can't even believe what I just saw.
I was really hoping for some ratchet action in this one oh well at least we got something almost as rare, Megatron fighting.
The Dark Star Saber!!!!??? That means we should be getting one more Star Saber and Dark Star Saber battle.
The Predaking and Megatron battle was nice, I wish it was a bit loner tho. But overall a pretty good episode.

This episode was awful. The only good part about it was Megatron vs. Predaking (and Predaking's rampage of course).
Ratchet, of course, doesn't die because the writers can't kill one damn Autobot whatsoever. Good guys always have to be rescued. Sure, this is a common thing in cartoons, but Prime professed itself to be such a dark show and even claimed that nobody was safe from death, yet only Decepticons and flashback Autobots die, the only freaking exception being that waste-of-character kibble Cliffjumper. And sure, there's always the final episode next week, but after so many let downs, I'm done with this bullcrap.
But that, of course, is only a personal complaint. The humans were so annoyingly brushed to the side at the end. It takes 2 seconds to at least say "we'll be back" or "goodbye." The Autobots completely ignord the children's existence.
Even though I liked it, I feel the Megatron vs Predaking fight should've lasted longer than it did. Still, everything else was either boring, idiotic, disappointing, and laughable. This is easily the worst episode thus far, and I'm beginning to lose hope in the finale and the movie as well. This show used to be so good in the first two seasons. Aside from Thirst, Beast Hunters has been one of the biggest letdowns in the Aligned continuity.

I understand the whole "an Autobot hasn't died since Cliffjumper" thing, but I'm honestly glad no one died this episode. I really think all the dramatic deaths should be left for the finale next week (or in Preds Rising). I'm not sure why, but I feel it will leave a bigger impact in the finale. Especially if an Autobot dies and Optimus is tipped over the edge and goes all movie-Optimus on the Decepticons. Whether or not that will happen, who knows?
But again, I absolutely adored this episode, especially the Ratchet/Knockout/Shockwave scenes. Those were gold

Looks to me like the Star Saber.
Also, I bet he'll fall into the Omega Lock and come out with a brand new voicebox

Rescue Bots likely takes place at the same time or before the events of Prime S1-S2. Therefore, Bee doesn't need to lose his voice again if Rescue Bots is "in the past." Still, the fact that we don't know when it takes place in relation to Prime means it doesn't need to quite "make sense."

WHY ARE YOU ASKING FOR MORE DEATH IN THIS SHOW? EVERY SINGLE DEATH IN THIS SHOW ASIDE FROM TAILGATE'S AND DREADWING'S HAS BEEN STUPID! WHY DO YOU WANT MORE OF IT?!!!

I already answered that question in the initial post. This show set a fake tone in the beginning that it wasn't afraid to take names, and the writers assured us that no one was safe from death, yet ALL deaths that were worth a damn are from Decepticons and only ONE Autobot, which contradicts and disappoints the points they're "trying" to make. Every incarnation of Transformers (save for the Unicron Trilogy) have taken more casualty risks than this show ever will, and that's sad for what this series impressed upon us all.

The fact that it's stepped away from that dumb "we can kill anyone" ordeal, despite reminders from the creators, is an improvement.
"We can kill anyone!" Well, we don't want you to kill anyone, makers! We like our characters alive, thank you very much.

No it's not. It's the whole reason this show has turned to crap. Those first ten minutes of Darkness Rising Part 1 are the reason I watched this show, because I thought the writers weren't afraid to take drastic risks with their good guys to show that war is a twisted thing. The death of Cliffjumper was the tone-setter, and now for you to say that they've stepped away from that, it feels like they lost interest in the show altogether. If you make a Strawberry-Banana smoothie without the Banana, then it's not the same smoothie anymore. That's what's happened to Prime, and the constant status quo resets in terms of the Autobot's MANY "miracles" and the Decepticon's MANY failures is brining it to the point where I'm starting to HATE this new "Beast Suckers" season, and the sad truth is, this series finale just might make me quit this show altogether. This is just becoming one big joke.

I think his voice actor was featured in the press release for Predacons Rising so it's very unlikely.

My point exactly. I didn't ask for a Candieland Shootout offing 8-12 Autobots: just one or two. Dramatic and meaningful Autobot deaths; not a bunch of nobodies. Beast Wars and Animated had no problem doing this, but a show that presents itself as darker than the aforementioned shows run and hide at the chance. Like I said: this series has become a joke.

Really? Because I started rolling my eyes when they killed off Dreadwing, a marvelous character who should have lived. Besides, plenty of Autobot deaths are implied or stated, just not on camera: Alpha Trion, Sea Spray, Impactor...
Killing characters for the sake of killing characters is dumb, and bad storytelling. Killing characters for a purpose is another matter entirely. Cliffjumper was killed to set the tone of the series, which was all well and good, because we had scant little time to bond with him anyway. As we saw, Skyquake's death was largely unnecessary. Breakdown's death was a result of very predictable Decepticon infighting, and allowed the writers to tie up the Mech cub-arch. You can argue that Dreadwing's death was a necessary consequence of his honor, but c'mon! Starscream deserved death over Dreadwing.
The fact that we've gotten to a point where there is no continuous reset button a la the first season is a good thing. I think rebranding the series as Beast Hunters is lame, but I'm happy with where the story has gone, and it looks like it will have a satisfying conclusion next week. Go read Game of Thrones if you want main characters killed off, but this is a kids show, albeit a dark one, and you should expect the show's conventions (good guys, as a rule, live) to follow accordingly.

This is just becoming one big joke."We can kill anyone!" Well, we don't want you to kill anyone, makers! We like our characters alive, thank you very much.
I want you to kill some Autobots for a change. It's not like they're developing them anyway.
While there are points that I agree with you on making the excuse of "It's just akid's show" isn't good seeing how many other shows took some risk that made them have moments of dark moments as well as intelligent writing. Yes there are some flaws in Prime that can't be ignored but then again no series is perfect and most of the other TF series did flaws that weren't any better.

Actually Sea Spray's fate is unknown right now.

And neither Beast Wars nor Animated made it a habit of killing off characters just for the sake of it.
Beast Wars did it mostly as a necessity to move old toys out of the way for new ones, and because each season finale operated under a "kill'em all, let Hasbro sort'em out" mindset since it wasn't known if they'd be able to come back for another season. Though, as this wasn't particularly the case for season 3's finale, those deaths happened because A) it was the end of the story and B) Simon Furman is a nutball when it comes to killing off characters en masse.
For Animated, only Prowl, Starscream, and Yoketron died and the first two had reached the ends of their stories for the series (though, neither would have stayed dead had the show continued), and Yoketron was already in his elder years, so he'd be an easy kill with the right kind of attack (i.e. - catching him off guard).
Oh, and Ratbat, but he was barely a character at all.
