Sabrblade wrote:Not quite. That show ended with relations between Earth and Cybertron (and all the other planets in the Space Bridge Network) becoming greater than ever, with humans coming to Cybertron and such. In this show (and the three other examples), the Autobots all go back to Cybertron after saying goodbye to their human friends, leaving behind Earth and humanity itself.

That makes sense.

On the topic of how good Prime was I am waiting until after Predacons Rising to give my opinion out, but thus far I think it has been pretty good.

Bumblebee really stole the finally, it was really well done, and excellently timed at the correct moments that made BB shined. The OMG moment of all of Prime BB finally spoke, my Jaw literally hit the floor and was one of the biggest twist in a Transformers series to date.

I think it done what it needed to do, it also done an excellent job of setting up for Predacon Rising.

Also while i was playing Mass Effect 2 tonight I noticed something odd I was comparing the Shadow Broker's Vessel towards that of the Nemesis in Prime. If you look closely at the 2 Ships they are almost the Same.

Dont know if anyone else has noticed that or not.

To bad after Predacon Rising it will be a Year before the next series will arrive I hope it will be a Complete Reboot of Transformes but they could make it into a Continuation without Team Prime but keep the Human Allies on it.

It wouldnt have the major Prime Team however it would feature Ratchet and a new Team of Autobots. More Predacons besides Predaking and StarScream and Shockwave have found a new leader being GALVATRON.

I would make this Galvatron like PredaKing being a Seperated being other than REBORN MEGATRON, he would have a Beast Form like PredaKing but 10x More Powerful also GALVATRON found the Dark Star Saber after its Free-Fall to Earth from the Nemesis.

This is how I would to the Successor to Prime, also bring in SCOURGE, CYCLONUS, SLIPSTREAM, STRIKA, THUNDERCRACKER, ELITA-1, HOUND, others to replace TEAM PRIME.

IT would take place many years after the events of Predacon Rising making Jack, Miko, Raf now Young Adults being in their Early 20's while Fowler & June would be Married.

Also I would bring back MECH but under a new Leader Silas had a Protege a sucessor.

Is it known if Bumblebee actually used the Star Saber like this:

Or did he just jam it through Megatron like he would with a regular sword?

Ok thanks, I'm still curious as to why people are saying that the Star Saber's powers are inconsistent.

That's all, folks.

breakdown was loyal to him..

Megatron wanted to leave him for dead. A good leader would initiate a rescue mission, no matter the circumstance. And then, knowing his soldier is a failure, sent him to hold down the cunning Airachnid......who then killed him.

Great thinking, Megatron.

knock out feared him, which made him loyal.

yeah....helped Starscream in his plot to kill Megatron in his sleep, and now he's an Autobot. So loyal.

the only one that wasn't " in check" was starscream.

And Airachnid, and later Dreadwing.

his temper? isn't that what makes megatron, megatron?

Animated Megatron kept cool in even the most dire of situations. BW Megatron did this to some extent, but not enough.

plus, this megatron lead the decepticons to more victories than i can remember.

Only to have everything crumble quickly.

New Army - 4 episodes
Cybertron revival/Earth reformation - 1 episode
Autobot extirmination - 4 episodes
Darkmount - 4 episodes
Predaking - 3 episodes after evolution

And he never really got much from the Iacon Relic hunt...the Forge and Resonance Blaster is all I can recall (outside of the keys that lasted 1 episode)

anyways...

one thing i didn't understand was how soundwave could be stuck in the shadowzone.. couldn't he just create a space bridge out of there?

I forget how the humans got out, but if it was a similar case, we can expect to see him this Fall.

also.. there's one more thing that infuriates me.. we've gotten a whole bunch of beast transformer toys.. yet only one so far in the show, and i read that only two will have rolls in the movie.

Predaking
Darksteel
Skylynx
Optimus Prime 2.0
Shockwave
Smokescreen
Ultra Magnus
Night Shadow Bumblebee

Seems to me like a good deal of the toyline was in the show one way or another.

i don't get it. these are american shows/movies.. yet japan gets every mold, and we don't.

Sick, Burn.

Bonus points to those who get it.

Incidentally, I hope someone picked up the Dark Star Saber (or did it fall to Cybertronian Corpse Party Earth?), since it doesn't need a Prime hand to wield it.

It -may- however, need a Megatron hand to wield it. I don't know if we ever saw it active in the hands of anyone other than Megatron, but I would imagine that he'd have had enough foresight to encode it to himself like the Star Saber is encoded to Primes.

I'm with you there - the blade my also need someone with Dark Energon inside the wielder to work, but since neither has been explicitly stated; I do wonder about the blade's future use.

The Dark Star Saber might be what wakes up Unicron since we see it falling to Earth and could potentially penetrate the crust and mantle all the way to the core, stirring you-know-who. ;)

Pretty sure he meant Predacons when he said "beast Transformers toys" (notice the lack of "Hunters" in his post).

Though, I wouldn't quite count Night Shadow Bumblebee since, while the deco's right, the sculpt's wrong. But, one could make a good argument for the upcoming Weaponizer Talking Bumblebee toy, even though it isn't to scale with the Deluxes/Voyagers, but it is still very much Bee in that body. ;)

That's right! Now I remember the scene, if only due to the weapon's nature of being one adjective away from being made of regular, exploding energon and thinking "Ha! Kinetic Harpoon with +5 blast radius!"

Hasbro said the deluxe Jet Vehicon and Voyager Breakdown were "too expensive." I really can't accept that excuse though. The mold is already made, and it's not like they wouldn't make a profit on it. They ALREADY HAD A REPAINT PLANNED for it, in the form of Starscream's Jet Vehicons! Ugh.

I guess I can accept it in the case of Breakdown... he's got a lot of little moving parts and a fairly complex transformation. But the mold is also TINY. It's HIDEOUSLY small for a voyager. So I don't know. I really just don't understand why Hasbro didn't release the molds.

My guess is Hasbro started working on them with Takara, got busy with other things, and then Takara finished them up on their own, by which time the toys were more than Hasbro could work with than if they had stuck with working with Takara on the toys all the way through.

Gaia Unicron's also in the same boat.

Aside from those three, any other molds that were Takara-only?

That he continuously wastes. In "Inside Job," he ignorantly through a ground troop off of the Nemesis; further proving how terrible a leader Prime Megatron is.

I'll agree there is a bit of a disconnect between Prime as a series, and exactly what the vehicons are, let alone why they rally behind Megatron. Whenever they focus on the decepticons, they focus on their plans, not what made everyone get behind Megatron in the first place, so why all these random decepticons put on matching vehicon uniforms is slightly mysterious, OR if they are manufactured and given sentience, then how? And why has one never tried to defect? It just seems strange that they would all follow Megatron without a good reason, especially since they know their their the expendable ones, the foot soldiers. I wish we would have gotten a vehicon episode, explaining their origin.

BeastProwl wrote:I'll agree there is a bit of a disconnect between Prime as a series, and exactly what the vehicons are, let alone why they rally behind Megatron.

BP you have just described every poor dumb bastard who has ever put on a uniform.

At SDCC, it was asked if the Vehicons are drones or individuals. The answer given was "a little bit of both". They're "clones" is what they are, as was hinted in the episode Starscream made clones of himself from five protoforms that all had Vehicon visors on them.
