After all, what good is an escapable confinement?

If I recall, the kids didn't get themselves out necessarily. The bots opened their groundbridge to a specific frequency and beamed them out of there. The only ways I can imagine Soundwave getting out is if someone else let him out or he still could operate the Nemesis' groundbridge controls to beam himself out.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Dead Metal wrote:Dudes, he's Soundwave. The only reason he's even in the Shadowzone is because he was too lazy that day. The moment the Shadowzone starts boring him he'll just walk out of there - because he's Batman Soundwave.
They mean a new show set in the same continuity, as in a sequel/successor series.Rodimus2006 wrote:also I am confused on what they were talking about on IGN.com being a Continuation or in a Parallel Deal I was unsure on what they mean by this.
The following is all that is known:Rodimus2006 wrote:Does anyone know the plot of Predacons Rising, I hear stuff about Unicron, and Other new Predacons you guys told me about nothing else. Mainly such as when does this TAKE PLACE when in Time, such as Right after S3 ends or YEARS.

Well, technically any part of this spoiler, and even entire spoiler itself could be a fake. Also they can change the mind. For example, it's hard to belive that Bots could accept Starscream as an ally, considering that he killed Cliffjumper, and Starscream promise Megatron that he would avenge him. Predaking seems now to hate both Bots and Cons, the ony way I imagine he accept the aliance is that him discover that Unicron is responsible for Predacons extinction in first place.Sabrblade wrote:
A resurrected UNICRON has taken over the now-lifeless body of MEGATRON to seek vengeance on the AUTOBOTS and ultimately, the destruction of Cybertron. This formidable enemy forces an unlikely alliance between the AUTOBOTS, DECEPTICONS, PREDAKING and two new PREDACONS, who come together in an epic battle to help protect their newly restored planet.
But it came from Hasbro's official press release. Have official press releases been known to give false info?TurboMMaster wrote:Well, technically any part of this spoiler, and even entire spoiler itself could be a fake.
Since it takes so long to make these things (what with CGI being so expensive and such), it's a bit too late in the game for that, now, isn't it?TurboMMaster wrote:Also they can change the mind.
Megatron killed Cybertron, which is a far greater sin than Starscream ever committed, yet they teamed up with Megatron (even letting him come into their base) back in the season 1 finale.TurboMMaster wrote:For example, it's hard to belive that Bots could accept Starscream as an ally, considering that he killed Cliffjumper, and Starscream promise Megatron that he would avenge him.
That'd be pretty petty and stagnant for a character as noble and intelligent as Predaking to remain filled with such bitterness that would keep him from growing as a character. Megatron is dead, and he knows the Autobots were just used as pawns to destroy the Predacons by Megs, so Predaking has no one to justifiably direct his hatred at. If he doesn't just suck it up and move on, that's pretty pathetic of him.TurboMMaster wrote:Predaking seems now to hate both Bots and Cons, the ony way I imagine he accept the aliance is that him discover that Unicron is responsible for Predacons extinction in first place.
You did see that the above description mentioned Megatron's body being used as a vessel, right? He's most certainly going to show up in that regard.TurboMMaster wrote:An as i said before, Megatron is to important trademark to just leave it. For he's fans and Hasbro marketing menagers it could be more profitable to keep Megatron not so lifeless. However since this is Prime, I won't be suprised if Megatron won't appear in the Movie at all.

He takes out three or four Vehicons before being demolished where as every other Autobot rips through vehicons like I rip through potato chips. They make Cliffjumper look like a pansy. I seriously thought "Wow, how could he NOT have died?"

Yeah, I think they just went and made those Vehicons extra powerful since, when we later see Cliffjumper in Arcee's flashback episode, he's a pretty decent fighter.Shadowman wrote:Fires_Of_Inferno wrote:You know, I just watched the first scene from Darkness Rising, and I came to the conclusion that Cliffjumper is a horrible fighter. ...jeez, I never really thought of it that way. I guess they were trying to set up the Vehicons as a serious threat, but they didn't last long, did it?

Well, consider this. In Out in the Past, Cliffjumper wasn't fighting more than two 'cons at a time. In the pilot, Cliff was taking on 7-9 Vehicons at once. Similarly, he managed to brush off about as many Vehicons he did in Out of the Past before they kicked him around and subsequently blew him up. It may not that Cliffjumper is a terrible fighter, but more toward that he can't handle that many guys ganging up on him at once.
