(INSERT VERY LENGTHY LIST HERE)

That's a fair point. It does seem like fanboy wish fulfillment. That's probably why this film felt so horribly rushed... there were a few too many disparate elements crammed in. I like seeing multiple factions doing battle, but having Shockwave and Starscream building a new Predacon army, Predaking being recruited by the Autobots, and Unicron Megs building an undead army meant that we rushed through an entire season's worth of interesting plots and characterizations in roughly three episodes' time. In trying to give us everything we wanted AND resolve lingering plot threads, Predacons Rising didn't have much in the way of breathing room or dramatic tension.

And some characters got A LOT more resolution than others as a result. So, some of the Steves joined the Autobots in rebuilding Cybertron and some didn't? What's up with that?

Not to mention, when it comes to faction... changing your allegiance doesn't take much effort, as Darksteel, SkyLynx, and Knock Out apparently confirm their new alliances and then SAY NOTHING ELSE FOR THE REST OF THE MOVIE. Argh.
To be fair, we'd probably get no better treatment for these things if this were one of the live action Bay movies. ;)

I think our only option for making this movie any better would be for it to have been about twice as long as it was so as to allow enough time for all the things that you listed to be more fleshed out, developed, and explored; but I get the feeling there might have been some sort of restriction on how long this movie could be, preventing all that and limiting what could be done within the 65 minutes they had to work with.

Oh, naturally. Most straight-to-DVD animated films are also intended to fill in a television timeslot, so they're rarely longer than 75 minutes.

Maybe if they had included little snippets in the credits filling in more detail...

More than anything else though... what happened to Shockwave? Where did he go to, and what villainy does he have left to do? I mean, the guy's characterization is a bit intentionally flat, but in other Aligned continuity sources he does plot to rule Cybertron himself, so logically...

My best guess is that he's likely still alive but was too out of shape to continue the fight, and so convinced the Predacons to fight so he wouldn't have to. As for what happened to him, they might have left that (and lots of things) open for future authors to use in later installments to this continuity. ;)

To be honest, I belive that many things was either skipped enirely, or added against logic. For example Knock Out heel face turn was added propably only because they need Con that switch sides permanently. KO is useless to Bots and is even more wimpish than Starscream. I don't see a reason why Bots should give him a chance. Also I don't like that we don't see some things I mean, we don't see even a single scene with Primus... Seriously? So many characters were never mentioned, just like they never existed. Also last scene with Starscream kinda killed all character development. He saved Megatron's live twice only to after war sitting on a empty throne of Kaon? Where is pleasure in that? But the worst part is Predacons were a separate faction for minutes. I really hoped that they gonna fight with Autobots at some pointin other words, this movie was simply REALLY to short.

Sucks being on the PS3 browser. I just found out about this and its been removed from youtube. I cant use any of those other sites because they just want me to download whatever video player they invented exclusively for that exact site's usage, require a version of Flash Player that isn't on the PS3, or my credit card number for a "Free Sign up"

Guess I have to wait. All I ask is, was it good? Like, are all questions answered? Or did it leave stuff up in the air?

Bummer. If you have a library card, I'd suggest taking a visit to the local library to use one of their PCs to stream it. :)

Loved it.

But there are WAY to many unanswered questions. I hope they give Prime a proper sequel series. Part of me is afraid that they'll just make another TF series and start developing new plot without answering said unanswered questions. I hope they don't resort to comics to fill the gaps, Im horrible with that stuff, I never know what comics to buy or look into or were to to get them. Kinda like the comics from the AEC family of fiction.

I think they decide to don't conclude all plots because they wonna leave too audience imagination finding favorite conlusion, and solve some problems without loosing fans. For example, Starscream was too popular to beign killed of this time, so they decide to end he's story with cliffhanger. Airanhid essentialy suffers fate worse then death.

I just hope that next time we heard Optimus, he finally get new voice. While I really like Peter Cullen, I think they use him too much since 2007. I would love to see Prime using different voice next time, even if David Kaye as Optimus was a failure. Lance Henriksen seems to be a right man.

Rumor has it that her story might be furthered in the Prime Beast Hunters comics, with "Thirst" being her exit from the show and a means to introduce her into the comics. ;)

That rumor started out as speculation.
If she gets touched upon again it will likely be the sequel series.

whats the deal between breakdown and bulkhead, besides "they have a history"?
why was dreadwing exclusively targeting wreckers?
speaking of dreadwing, his brother skyquake also brings up a question; If megatron hid his warriors all across the cosmos as mentioned in skyquake's debut episode, why didn't megatron ever go and recruit said warriors? He had time to rome the universe and rip off the arm of a dead prime but not gather some more much neaded support?
exactly what are the vehicons? and what happened to the vehicon generals that followed starscream and shockwave off the nemesis?

Those'll do for starters. I just hope they don't glaze over the major ones. not so much the other stuff I guess.

To be fair, a lot of those were due to the show itself rather than the movie.

Though, several of those I'd say need no answers since some of them were just unimportant excuses to move the plot along.

However, there was answer given to that final question, at SDCC 2013:
Q: Are the Vehicons drones or individuals?
A: A little bit of both. They are clones. They tried to suggest this in the show, but were probably too subtle on the matter. When Starscream went into a lab and found the protoforms, the faceplates of these protoforms were similar to the Vehicons, as a suggestion on the Vehicons' origins. But the treatment of the Vehicons has evolved over the course of the show to where they could be seen as both.

And what happened with Starscream's Aramda? And why they ingored Primus entirely?

However as I said before, Ithink creators decide this time end series with a lout of open questions. This is'nt maybe a strictly open ending, but I like idea.

And Starscream is not dead... He don't die at any point of series, a proper question is "How long Starscream survived after he's final scene?"

Who? The Jet Vehicon Generals? Well, where they went is about as important as where they were prior to their first appearance in episode 52. But since they didn't bother to answer that, an answer for this is likely not to be given either. :|

Do you mean he doesn't ever die in this show, or in any show? If you meant in this show, then yep. But if you meant in any series, he died for good in Animated. ;)

Does anyone here find the Autobots on the show to be hyprocrites? The reason for that question is that on certain sites I've been on they've mentioned about how the Autobots say one thing like protecting the innocent and freedom is the right for all sentient beings then doing something else the next. Like with Optimus saying it's wrong to harm unarmed victims yet Arcee tried to fire at Megatron in Sick Mind then with her in One Shall Fall telling Bee not to be revenge driven then going after Airachnid in Crossfire.Or with Magnus and Wheeljack blowing up the Predacons in Evolution just to name a few.

Yes, because the good will of letting Megatron live is just so beneficial to the ongoing war effort...

Did she urge him not to seek revenge? I don't remember that.

And the alternative was...what? Let them awaken and run amok? Allow the Predacons to be set loose on Earth, the planet they've sworn to protect?

So, TF Prime is over. While I enjoyed the show, I found the ending unsatisfactory. It seems odd to me that the creators would say that they're out of ideas, yet they left several unresolved plot threads: Airachnid and the Insecticons; Megatron's current whereabouts; the children on Earth.

And on top of that, WHERE ARE THE DINOBOTS? Wasn't Gregg Berger supposed to have role in this show somewhere?

Not to mention Shockwave went down like a punk, and Meg's doesn't quit being a badass like that.

They've stated from the very beginning that TF Prime was only going to last for 65 episodes, and that if the demand was there they would make more. They're already working on the sequel series. So I don't get why people think this was it and the show was canned.
We've been over this a dozen times.

Shockwave is still alive by the way.

They have also never stated that the Dinobots are going to be part of the show, they said they would try, but they never said they would.

On Cybertron. Dealing with their own events. In their own comic series. That is how the writers decided to introduce them into the show's universe, via their own comic set within said universe.

No, that was misinterpretation the fandom made of something Nolan North once said. North had given an interview in which he remarked how cool it was to be working alongside Peter Cullen and Gregg Berger. At the time, it was known that North would be playing Smokescreen in the Prime cartoon, and so fans assumed that he was referring to that, suggesting that Gregg Berger would be having a voice role on the show.

BUT, also as the time, it wasn't quite yet known that he was going to be playing Cliffjumper in the Fall of Cybertron video game, which did have him working alongside Cullen and Berger. And since his role of Clifjumper in that game was announced not too long after the aforementioned interview, it is more than very likely that he was referring to FOC, rather than Prime, when he spoke of working with Cullen and Berger.

Okay, so I remember the interview with Nolan North, so yeah, I can see the misunderstanding there.

And Dead Metal, as for when they said they were out of ideas, isn't that why the show became rebranded as "Beast Hunters"?

Well, not to come in between you two, but I came here to point out a few fun things I just noticed.
In the episode were predaking fights wheeljack and ultra magnus, when predaking dodges wheeljack's frontflip sword attack and slams him into the wall, wheeljack's car alarm goes off. The music drowns it out a bit, but crank the volume and you'll hear it.

Also in the intro, I just noticed they referenced the 1986 film. Right before Optimus Prime's death scene he transforms and he whoops all those deceptions.

Its the way he transformed thats important though.

His transformation in the 80's film was rocket propelled. Watch the Beast Hunters intro. He's got lots of little rocket propelled bits in his transformation sequence.

Even more intriguing is the fact that he "died" at the end of Beast Hunters, like he "died" in the 80's film. Also, both involved Megatron undergoing a transformation, and Unicron and the use of the Matrix.
Later in G1 Optimus was brought back. Possible Easter Egg/Forshadowing?
