Can we at least say that Earth's core is "essentially" Unicron?Shadowman wrote:It's more complicated than that. He's not Earth, and Earth isn't him. The line is pretty blurry, though. Optimus DID say that Unicron most likely no longer has or needs physical form, which actually explains everything. Remember, in the old version of their backstory, Primus and Unicron didn't have physical form when they ended up trapped in those asteroids, but over time, learned to control them. This actually explained how Unicron can make avatars out of bits of the Earth.
Tune in next week when I'm proven completely wrong about this.

At BotCon 2010 and 2011, we saw images of both the pre-The Fallen Megatonus Prime and the present day The Fallen. so maybe one of these is Megatronus before he fell.Shadowman wrote:Even funnier, doing a quick headcount, there's only 11 in there, and none of them are on fire. Though the Fallen COULD be the Pharaoh-looking on with the glowing eyes.

Then again, these were silhouettes that had their finer details and individual outlines obscured by slight blurriness. So, it's understandable how we'd have difficulty picking each one out.Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:At BotCon 2010 and 2011, we saw images of both the pre-The Fallen Megatonus Prime and the present day The Fallen. so maybe one of these is Megatronus before he fell.Shadowman wrote:Even funnier, doing a quick headcount, there's only 11 in there, and none of them are on fire. That's what I was thinking. The Pharaoh-like design fits in with his movie design, too, which he was not on fire. The one to the right of Glowy-Ball Prime in the first image has a lot of design elements of Alpha Trion, too.
That said, could they have made a few of them a bit more obvious? It should not be hard to pick the Fallen out of a crowd. And Prima doesn't appear in either of those images. (Though it's most likely the one feature most prominently in both IS Prima, it just doesn't look like that image there)

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Dead Metal wrote:I love how Unicron takes a lot of design elements from the unproduced BW Neo ptototype, kinda makes sense if you think about it, after all in BW Neo Unicron was resurrected by pumping angolimus (what ever that stuffs called) into Earth.
My only complaint is his Unicron's weapon designs, that sword/lance on his left arm and that spiky not really a mace on his right arm just look bad to me.

I think those are just spikes, he's always had spikes on his arms.Avensis-Mahiya wrote:Airachnid seems to have moved up to become the new Second in Command since little old Starscream has gone AWOL.
Which is really funny since Starscream was so worried about being replaced by her, that he ended up defecting.

Done. They are now hyperlinks.Dead Metal wrote:Sabreblade, please remove the hotlinked images from tfwiki, David Willis is a dick when it comes to such things and the staff would not want to deal with his childish antiques again.

Though, if that's also a problem, I can fix it later after I get back from work.

I've heard a lot of griping about Unicron's voice in particular, and I've got to say, after rewatching the episode on YouTube, it sounds a lot less jarring. I kind of like how he sounds like an old man. I've always thought he certainly looked the part.
And of course, this episode had to end on a cliffhanger. Well, at least we won't have to wait a month for it to get resolved this time.
