They've never used a key for it before, and if they did, why would Optimus take it out while they were on a mission? Easy: because he's lying.
Which is an even worse lie, because why would they need a key to that at all? Why would you need to lock up the power supply of the device you use on a daily basis?
Security measures? More humans in there on a daily basis.
I think you missed my point. It's not security measures because it's not the key to the Ground Bridge's power supply, it's the Key to Vector Sigma. My point is, if you apply a bit of logic, you could have figured out Optimus was lying the moment he told Jack what it was.
Shadowman wrote:Foxbear wrote:some of the original 13 Primes are still alive.
Well of course they are. Alpha Trion is always doing something. Vector Prime is still having adventures throughout time and space, the Fallen just hops from one dimension to another every time he gets killed, and while we haven't seen much of Liege Maximo since the G2 comics, there's nor reason to assume they killed him since then.
And for the love of God, can Hasbro please name the remainder of the Original 13 something other than Prime? It's getting unimaginative.
But not in terms of story, characters, and development. Those first 11 episodes of Prime still cripple it.Nico wrote:But overall? Good stuff and with two more seasons I think this show could stand side by side with Animated and Beast Wars. It certainly is superior to Animated in terms of action.
Shadowman wrote:This is Sabrblade we're talking about. His ability to store trivial information about TV shows is downright superhuman.

He most likely lied because he didn't want Jack to know right away that he was giving Jack such a sacred item.Rodimus2006 wrote:This key is a complete mysery as to what its real purpose is, is anyone's guess ast to what its true purpose is.
But after re-watching that episode Optimus did indeed lie to Jack from his facial expresions to the way he paused he lied big time to Jack.
Why he did that unknown, why he gave Jack something so important also unknown.
But it was a big out right lie about that being the Key to the Ground Bridge when the Bridge has its own power supply.
Many questions remain what is this key, why did OP lie, and why did he give something so important to Jack.
Shockwave, not Soundwave, rebuilt the Dinobots.Rodimus2006 wrote:Also cool new twist in the upcoming new game Soundwave created the Dinobots but the questions is what makes them rebel against Soundwave.
More likely he's just damaged. I'm guessing that this will be how he loses his voice in the games, whereas he's already lost it in a much different way in the books.Rodimus2006 wrote:Bigger question is BB really going to be dead in Fall we seen the pic in the in the magazine OP was holding BB.

All taken straight out of Exodus.jaredautobot1 wrote:I loved the backstory scene for Optimus and Megatron and how the war began.
We've never seen in it this continuity until now. Exodus and Exiles have only made a few passing references to Vector Sigma, but not to his key.jaredautobot1 wrote:Why would the key to Vector Sigma even be on Earth? Isn't is still on Cybertron?

Well, we really don't know what Vector Sigma's nature is like in this universe.YRQRM0 wrote:I'm betting the key to Vector Sigma will unlock Prime's memories again. Vector sigma holds all the information right?
Becuase he doesn't need too? Because he's too cool to need to fight?YRQRM0 wrote:Soundwave is a pro. Why doesn't he fight more often?
