Episode 35
Fowler speaks Silas's real name, Leland Bishop, former Special Tactics Colonel. Fowler's superior also states that Silas was the architect of "Project Damocles", which involved orbital satellites that could fire laser beams upon any target on Earth, and which was the reason for his discharge from U.S. military.
I chuckled at the replaying of all the times Fowler's various aircraft had been scanned by Skyquake, Airachnid, and Dreadwing.
Okay, so far, this clip show isn't all that bad. There's a good amount of new footage placed around the old to create a new story for this episode. In other words, this both like and not like the clip shows of the RiD cartoon, in that, while they do use recycled footage, there's a new plot to the episode itself woven around the flashbacks. Only this time, it's done by all new footage instead of just using nothing but old footage.
Confirmed by Fowler! That
is General Bryce who's questioning him.
AAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH! WHY?!!!! Why did they HAVE to give an explanation for how Fowler is able to pilot a jet without a flight suit?! Why couldn't they just let him be hardcore?! Now that there's a scientific reason, it makes him much less hardcore than he was shown to be!
Okay, his, "I... like to be comfortable," response was kinda funny, but that still doesn't dismiss the reason given for his lack of hardcoreness.
The second ever Unicron/unicorn joke in TF history was made in this episode.
Fowler also confirms that Airachnid is "as sadistic as they come," which no Blackarachnia of past series ever were.
So, wait a minute. Optimus was standing outside all along, and could have been summoned to make an appearance at the window all this time, which would have proven his status as being alive and not the same entity as the currently confiscated Nemesis Prime corpse, and instead only showed his presence by the episode's conclusion? Okay, this clip show has officially hit rock bottom. This was a complete waste of time.
Robert Forster voiced General Bryce.

Bet that has to do with you misguided belief that being "rude" is a greater sin than being "evil".

Huh? "VTOL" isn't a name. It's the type of jet it is. A "vertical take-off and landing" jet.
