Hey, him besting Airachnid like that, not to mention his performance in his two-parter, scored him some serious brownie points in my book. :D

No, actually. Firing a weapon with a clogged barrel is a very, very bad idea.

Yeah. It's just like in those Bugs Bunny cartoons where he pokes closed Elmer Fudd's gun barrels with his fingers. Gun goes boom in Elmer's face. :michaelbay:

The barrel was still obstructed reguardless. As stated above, firing any weapon with a blocked barrel is a terrible idea.

I think the point is that it's not an ordinary gun, it's a fusion cannon. It shoops many whoops on things. Not bullets. Shoops. I think that's why people say it's okay to shoot.

I couldn't care less, either way. It was awesome watching Megatron melee that thing to death.

your right it isn't a ordinary gun its worse. just take a step back and think about the guns name "fusion cannon". now I don't know for certain how his gun really works......but to me if it fires fusion blasts.....fusion works by taking things and cramming them together....hard....just think of what would happen if a implosion like that had happened at the end of his arm.

edit:
I also got to thinking that perhaps the dmg a fusion cannon causes might not be from a fusion reaction but from a gravitational disturbance.

Well, it HAS been stated that Megatron's fusion cannon draws it's energy from a black hole. I don't know if that's the case in TF Prime, but if so, that is ALOT of power. Not even light itself can escape the gravity of a black hole, so concentrating that into a firing weapon? Well, lets just say, I'm surprised that stronger weapons exist. Of course, this is all just guesswork on my part, seeing as how it hasn't (yet) been stated that TF Prime's Megatron uses the same type of tech, but I believe that's how fusion cannons work in the TF Universe anyway, so again, ALOT of power there. Firing it while blocked or clogged would have made a crater the size of texas, and probably would have re-awakened Unicron to boot :P

finally had a chance to sit down to read exodus and exiles. I enjoyed exodus a great deal, was a great tie in for the game. exiles on the otherhand was to busy, I don't think irvine stayed on any one topic long enough....almost felt it should have been two books fleshed out more.

I really hope they continue to tie the show, game, and books together.

Loved this episode, Arachnid's getting god-moddy, Bumblebee wasn't in it much, Arcee's a dumbass, background characters (Breakdown included) were killed, Insecticons are HUGE! I love that. And yes, I count Breakdown as a background character. He's not really done much, Knockout is more useful than him, and really, I'm not to broken up about Breakdown being dead either. All he really did was add another rivalry into the series that has WAY too many rivalries.

Optimus vs Megatron
Arcee vs Airachnid
Arcee vs Starscream
Bulkhead vs Breakdown
Wheeljack vs Dreadwing

Just one or two rivalries should be enough.

Also: I haddn't noticed this before, but Dreadwing talks in Tigertron's voice! :D

True enough, but they just play the rivalries up a bit too much. Airachnid Arcee Optimus Megatron would be enough for me. When they started the one with Bulkhead and Breakdown I thought it was starting to be a bit much.

I don't think they played up that rivalry as much as they did with Prime/Megatron and Arcee/Airachnid. True, they were familiar with each other, and despised each other, but whatever "rivalry" the two had was apparently not taken very seriously. Both seemed to be perfectly happy to take on opponents other than each other, and didn't seem to go out of their way to go after each other, unlike Arcee and Airachnid. The only time it was ever mentioned that Bulkhead and Breakdown were "archrivals" was in "Operation Breakdown" - and only Miko seemed absolutely insistant on it.

Hmm, Nemesis Prime has yellow eyes AND yellow blaster fire. And his transformation seemed more like live action Prime's transformation then Prime's Prime.

Also, anyone else get chills of K.A.R.R.?

.... that episode was AWESOME

Nice to see Fowler get some character development, and I didn't think he could fight with that gut.

And holy scrap on that last scene. Silas' mind being put into breakdown? That'd be crazy. But I still want Adam Baldwin.

Addition: Still upset to see 2 whole episodes without Wheeljack even though he's on the planet.

Now with the show over...

Am I the only one that feels annoyed that MECH built something as Silas says with all Prime's speed, strength and weapons? Especially to see it knock out Bulkhead so easily and then even wound Optimus himself?

Irks me that they would even be capable of replicating metal with the strength to stand up to the real Cybertronians.

And... so that's what they will do with Breakdown...

Silas got distracted. And with that, he pays a hefty price. But imagine, an ex special forces operative with silas' personality and military mind inside breakdown's body? That's what I call a devastating combination. Maybe that's what project chimera really is? That's what I call a devastating combination. I sense big trouble for both sides in coming episodes, or at least when silas is fully recovered anyway. Wierd how not a single decepticon, save for breakedown, makes an appearence this episode, though one of the little RC Cars resemble's knockout somewhat.

Fowler becomes at least 35% more badass this episode BTW. We also get a little backround on silas before he gets flattened. Still, with how smart he is, why did he personally get out of the control panel to fist fight fowler? Couldn't he have ordered his men to dispatch him? They were there after silas knocked him on his butt. I guess they had just arrived? Overall, a great episode, with a very nice twist at the end. Breakdown's back baby! :APPLAUSE:

Episode 34 -

Agent Fowler is listening to a version of Stan Bush's "The Touch" on his car radio!

Great catch, Bumblebee!

Even greater catch, Bulkhead!

When Optimus says that he was outside of their communication range, I think it would have been cooler if he had said that he was at Griffin Rock, briefing the newly-arrived Rescue Force Sigma-17 (though, worded less detailed and more vaguely as a fanwank reference so as to not confuse viewers who haven't seen that show yet), instead of being in a subterranean energon deposit.

For a second, I thought Optimus was gonna get struck by that missile, fall down, miss the GroundBridge, and get taken into custody by the military right then and there.

Fowler's superior is named General Bryce.

The MECH-made Optimus lookalike is a non-sentient robot remotely operated by Silas via an interface console.

And it's Miko who coins the name "Nemesis Prime" for the imposter.

Fowler is all kinds of hardcore in this episode. 8)

Fowler vs. Silas = WIN!

 Did Silas just... just... ker-splat?

Hey, Optimus smiled again! :)

Oh, never mind, MECH's surgeon is gonna do some "unconventional" work on Silas. And, look, Breakdown's corpse!

Next week, Fowler has to give some background material on the Autobots to his superiors. Here's hoping it's not a clip show. What would be really cool is if Fowler were explain the full history of Team Prime's time on Earth, from their arrival on Earth to the events of episode 1.
