Which is weird, because as a Prime, that makes Optimus the boss of everyone who isn't a Decepticon.
Yeah, except black operations soldiers still recognize authority and insubordination isn't something they're just allowed to do. Especially with the sensitive nature of black ops, you are most certainly not allowed to just flip off your Commander in Chief then go off and indulge in a revenge plot.
that is if he considers optimus his cic.
Optimus Prime is his Commander in Chief, being a Prime puts him above everyone except Primus. The chain of command doesn't work based on whether or not you think someone is higher up than you, or, if they are, that the validity of their orders are based entirely on how much you respect them.
I know that he's over it and he actually has a respect for Optimus, I'm just saying, running black ops and having a dislike of your superiors doesn't mean you can just run off and directly contradict them.
your assuming that their military works as ours does, seems much more like an informal militia to me. the autobots have a very loose sence of the coc, every other episode one goes off on their own. if their military did work that way then it failed miserably......could be why they lost the war though.
What are you talking about? No one here's mentioned the Japanese dub of Prime (if that's what you're referring to).sheilaaellis44 wrote:Them yelling Transform just kills it for me. Despite the fact that it looks to be a pretty good cast (Japanese voice of Patrick Star is Bulkhead, thats perfect!), the 'japanification' of it just lets me know that I'll never get through an entire episode.

Don't you mean "The entire freaking ending of ME3 and now this..."?
No they don't. The con still have their whole army of Vehicons, not to mention a fully operational battle warship with a plethora of resources.crazyjeffy wrote:So it looks like the 'Bots have the upper hand now... I wonder if they'll realize it.

Megatron is a lifeform, and he was completely at Optimus's mercy in that instant. Optimus said that he doesn't condone the very actions he was considering doing. It's all part of his character development (finally, he gets some!).Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Optimus was gonna gun down the defenseless Megatron. Hypocrite.![]()
It's not hypocritical. There's a huge difference between a defenseless lifeform and Megatron. Because defenseless or otherwise, he's still Megatron, and his continued existence is a bad thing for Earth and the Autobots.
