As far as Silas could tell, Optimus was critically wounded and beaten. Seeing Agent Fowler there in person also brought out some personal feeling since those two had been rivals yet never came face-to-face until that moment. Silas likely wanted to handled Fowler personally, as well as relish in the moment of personally beating up Agent Fowler. His personal beef with Fowler distracted him enough to make him momentarily forget about Optimus.BeastProwl wrote:Still, with how smart he is, why did he personally get out of the control panel to fist fight fowler? Couldn't he have ordered his men to dispatch him? They were there after silas knocked him on his butt. I guess they had just arrived?

I like that Silas was only able to get the advantage on OP because he didn't have to deal with the distraction of pain.
Also glad Mech had to go the RC angle and weren't able to manufacture their own AI/Spark. Too advanced for them plus, they want weapons, not things that can think for themselves.
Glad Fowler's car survived. Would be a shame for it to be destroyed before a decepticon gets a chance to scan it.
Screw all the Miko haters. It makes perfect sense she'd be the one to coin the goofy "Nemesis Prime" name. Also, that little overexcited smashing Silas bit she did was freakin adorable.
I assume if they needed special metals for NP, they used bits and scraps left behind from wrecked Vehicons.
Hoping in the future we get an Arcee & Knockout team up to go after Airachnid.
So, now Wheeljack is off exploring earth with no idea that the military will try to destroy him on sight is he goes into Robot mode.

Yeah, most likely. But still an optional way of bringing Wheeljack back in for an episode, showing up pissed and asking why the humans are trying to scrap him.

I love this line.
I hope Sabr is right. It'd be nice to see how their presence on earth differs from movieverse.

Yeah, I just want some info about how they got to Earth and such. The most pre-episode info we've seen has been the form of the Prime graphic novel, showing how Arcee, Cliffjumper, and Starscream got to Earth.crazyjeffy wrote:I hope Sabr is right. So I was just wondering if Nemesis will likely have an action figure for the Prime series as well, or not. Please let me know what you think.

- Nemesis' reveal bears a striking resemblence to Blackout's fom the first movie.
- Bumblebee once again shows some combat savvy, questioning Nemesis when he sees him. Good call.
- Fowler vs Silas. It's actually kind of nioe to see two humans duke it out for a change.
- And they're going to upload Silas' brain into Breakdown's body. I know they couldn't keep the wreckage, but turning him literally into Nemesis Prime would have been awesome.
- They said they would cut back on Miko's suicidal tendancies, and they did. Problem is she's become more annoying and obnoxious as a result. Oh well, at least she isn't channeling the spirit of Leeroy anymore.
Now, where's my slaggin' Dinobots?

"Come on, it's our guy. Can't you tell?"
1) He was near completely calm when he said it. Like he KNEW and was simply annoyed that the others didn't.
2)He KNEW. Maybe the KTVS left him with a bigger connection to Prime than they thought
I might be reading a bit too much into one scene but he was a matrix bearer for a short time. Perhaps they are building up his connection to Prime with a plot purpose in mind. Otherwise that scene seems unnecessary.

I always thought he was Air Force for some reason...
Oh well, this ties him close to his namesake from the movie.

I wouldn't call Lennox Fowler's namesake, seeing as William is a very generic male name.

Well, since Silas is getting an upgrade, so to speak, I don't think MECH will bother trying to build another Nemesis. By the same token, I'll be surprised if they don't try to steal what's left of the first one back, maybe put its T-cog in a new frame and scan one of their choppers.

- "I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, and I bring you this message."
- Bumblebee drives into a complex somewhat similar to the one his Movie counterpart fought Barricade in
It's kinda like Bayformers the Cartoon Episode.

True, William is a common name and I probably wouldn't have made the connection but in the cannon side literature they are both referred to as having the call sign "Wild Bill". Hub had it listed as Fowler's call sigh on their official site before they revamped it awhile back. That bumps it from coincidence to a Bay-verse reference in my book.
And yes Jack did carry only the Key to Vector Sigma to Cybertron. However once there the new Matrix was downloaded into the key. So Jack was a matrix bearer for the time it took to get the Key and its contents back to Orion Pax. Optimus didn't have the matrix from the time he surrendered it to defeat Unicron Until it was re-uploaded into his frame.

Or most likely a GI Joe reference. Or a reference to nothing since neither of them have ever really been called that outside of semi-canon supplementary materials.

No, Optimus had the depowered Matrix the whole time, in his chest. Vector Sigma and the Key were just use to power it back up. Jack didn't have the Matrix, he had the replacement battery.
