They said Prime would be taking a break after episode 26 because that was the end of season 1. This is just another one of those breaks for them to catch up on finishing the episodes. As for when this break will end, like every other question you've ever asked, we do not know.

Because Transformers in Japan are aimed at a younger age group. In Airachnid's debut episodes, they cut out the scene that shows us her hideous alien victims since, in that version she no longer hunts endangered species, but instead hunts "cute boys". And these are faces only a psycho could love... wait.

They could have put up a bunch of anime dudes all over her walls instead. That'd make the whole concept a bit believable, and more creepy, I think... I'm not sure, I think they should have just left her as is.

That would require additional new animation. They guys behind the episode's dub are just dubbers, not animators. ;)

Arms Micron Theater is a different entity.

short answer: They like comedy and silliness, which I guess is why their dub of Animated was still considered decently good.

They also changed Prime Cliffjumper into being a macho dude who sings about how awesome he is. 8-}

To be fair, he was played by the Rock, and talking about how awesome he was was pretty much all he did during his short screen time. So the only real difference here is the singing.

Yeah, that explains "Ghost in the Shell" - especially the Second Gig. Though considering Batou and the Tachkomas' roles...

Different age group. Transformers cartoons are marketed to young grade school children in Japan (yes, even a show as awesome and deeply rich as Masterforce was made for Japanese youngsters).

Since TFP was off right now, I went back to review some of the previous episodes.
Dont know if anyone mentioned about it before or not, just found some weird point.
In Orion Pax Part 3, autobots opened a ground-bridge next to a space-bridge....
Er....does that not going to cause some sort of dimension transfer problem that happened in season 1?
While 2 portal are too close and it will do some strange effect?
And in the same episode....does Megatron just forgot his zombie army?
I mean, unless they were ALL destroyed due to the explosion of first space-bridge.
Otherwise since the second one is now completed, I've seen no reason not to bring them on Earth to stick with his plan.
Oh yeah, and after that, both bots and cons seem totally ignore that space-bridge.... :HEADHURTS:

Maybe the 'Bots fixed that problem so that it doesn't happen again.

Plus, maybe it only works with two GroundBridges instead of one GroundBridge and one Space bridge.

I think it's generally assumed that thye all were indeed destroyed in that explosion. After all, a space bridge blowing up is no picnic compared to some other kinds of explosions.

It might play a role in the Nintendo game, which is said to take place concurrently with season 2.

Plus there's that statement Rachet makes overextending the Ground Bridge. Since most, if not all Megatron's army was in the vortex of the Space Bridge, their atoms were probably scattered. Either way, they're probably dust.

May come up again in the series It wasn't destroyed; the only reason we haven't seen it is because there's been no cause so far.

Has anyone heard any news concerning Episode 16 airdate. All I have been hearing is news on Shockwave or the Dinobots.

I know Shockwave is in Fall of Cybertron so are the Dinobots.

They keep on saying Shockwave will show up in future episodes of Prime.

Me all I wanna know is when is Episode 16 returning and I wanna learn the fate of Bulkhead.

Nope.

Shockwave is coming. We don't know when, but he is coming. As for the Dinobots, they have been hinted at by the creators, but nothing more than that. Anything else is mere speculation and rumor.

You are preaching to the choir, man. We're all dying to know about what comes next. :P

But me, I'm content with watching each new episode of Rescue Bots in the meantime, since I always look forward to that show more than Prime.

As you know Saber, Hasbro as recently just registered Combiners also if you remember they did say it is a good possibility that Combiners could be on Prime in the near future.

If WFC, FOC and Prime are all in the same Universe-Timeline with WFC & FOC being the backstory prequel then Prime would be the current timeline.

If they follow suit with the way things have been shaping in Prime and following closely towards WFC & FOC then there is a good shot at Bruticus being that combiner showing in Prime.

Since The Combaticons are in FOC such as Shockwave and Shockwave is coming to Prime I see know reason why The Combaticons wouldnt follow in suit.

Also it could be done with the Dinobots such as in WFC & FOC where Shockwave created the Dinotbots but he couldnt control them maybe in Prime they would have a historic rivalry such as Omega and the Contructicons did back in Generation 1.

While Omega & The Contructicons were friends back on Cybertron during G1 they had a falling out cause The Constructicons went over towards the cons. While with Shockwave and the Dinobots it would be a Master vs. Creator type of rivalry.

Seems to me everyone that was in WFC or in FOC will eventually be on Prime either in cameo forms, flashbacks, or temporary such as Wheel Jack while Wheel Jack being the only character not in either WFC or FOC.

So I hope others will show on Prime such as Slipstream she was in WFC as a DLC Character. Then the Insecticons could join Hard Shell on Prime in some way.

Lots of ideas for future episodes.

I hope Season 2 of Prime will be like Animeated was with a huge climatic battle thus continuing into Season 3. With Season 3 introducing several new characters such as Animated did.

With Animated then towards the end of the season several new characters where also shown such as the Starsceam Clones which all rebeled against Sceam such as Slipstream done.

I hope Prime will be similar new characters show at the end then in season 3 more big characters such as Combiners.

I also hope that the Nemesis will play a bigger role in future episodes or even in Season 2's epic conclusion maybe the Nemesis will fully awaken it will be friggen sweet if Nemesis would be Trypticon.

Nemesis is about on Par to be Trypicon maybe he is in a dormant state dosent have what he needs to transform or missing his T-Cog.

Prime is going to be awesome but for now I am killing time other ways while waiting for Episode 16 such as watching Falling Skies which is really good.

Dark Knight Rises I am also going to see on IMAX so I am ok with the wait on Prime just wish more info would come out.

You know, this thread keeps getting threatened to be locked over crap like this. Surely you can hold off of stuff like this, please? Just stop talking about it, because the thread WILL be locked like deadmetal said if this keeps up, I'm pretty sure.

Anyway, I never read the novels (I bought one and imediately lost it, another story though)
But what do you think the odds are of Thundertron showing up?
Maybe a little Magnus? I mean, Magnus at least has concept art (I'm to lazy to go back a million pages to find it though) So maybe they are planning on releasing him into prime?

don't know if I want another faction in prime. we already have 3, 4 if ya count starscream, and 5 if ya count airachnid.....yep to many as it is I don't want any pirates. I would love to see magnus bring in a unit of autobots though, they are way too outnumbered.

I actually went and made a complete list of all the factions and subfactions known thus far in the Aligned continuity, so this may give us an idea of who might and might not appear in Prime. Here's the list.

I dont want factions Saber just newer characters or old ones just re-done in a new ways such as Wheel Jack is. Maybe Perceptor will be done in a similar way.

New looks, new Personalites such as Wheel Jack from G1 into Prime this Wheel Jack is more similar towards his Armada counterpart.

Factions are good but to many can be hard to keep up with such as Gundam Seed Destiny which had way to many factions in it. It drove me insain at times trying to keep up with what was going on but Destiny was a continuation of Seed.

Prime should keep going with its own direction we are fine with MECH, Autobots and Decepticons although I wouldnt mind the US Miltary or Goverment being involved in some way. I mean more than Fowler I mean a full blown involvement maybe they dont like the way Fowler is doing things so they come in and decide to take care things themselves.

Or they could make a Super Group of Human Villans like in Animated that was an interesting twist.

Mainly Saber I just want old or new characters or character never before seen such as SkyQuake or Dreadwing more new ones made just for Prime.

It dosent always have to be old Generation 1 characters I like new ones it brings things in a new direction.

Yes, we know all of this already.

Rodimus2006 wrote:Since The Combaticons are in FOC such as Shockwave and Shockwave is coming to Prime I see know reason why The Combaticons wouldnt follow in suit.

Shockwave isn't a Combaticon. Even so, being in FOC doesn't immediately mean being in Prime.

Since they're going to the trouble of making a Thundertron toy and putting it in the Prime line, I really hope the Star Seekers make an appearance in the show. I don't know that Starscream counts as his own faction since he's just one dude. He's a rogue agent, but as far as ideology goes he's basically just a Decepticon that isn't allied with Megatron. The US Military is going to be allied with the Autobots, even if there's animosity. MECH are the only true lone faction, so if the Star Seekers make an appearance, that would bring us to a total of four major factions, with one rogue Decepticon and the Wreckers out doing who knows what. If THEY appear they're going to be on the Autobot side, also, even if there's a power struggle between Prime and Magnus. But getting back to my initial point, I think a faction that wants to destroy ALL Cybertronians, plus MECH who want to use Cybertronian tech for terroristic purposes, would round out the show's cast nicely. It's always been 'Bots vs. Cons (or 'Mals vs. Cons), it's time to shake things up.
