Dude I know Shockwave isnt a Contructicon he is an infiltrator or sometimes the Guardian of Cybertron or a mad scientist.

In FOC Shockwave creates the Dinobots but he can not control them and the Dinobots turn on thier Creator.

The Constructicons have 6 Team Members that Form Devestator such as Combaticons have 6 Team Members that form Bruticus.

Usually Combiners are a 6 Team Members such as the ones I created for my fan fiction such as the Crimson Mauraders who form Maurader Maximus or my Train Depositors who form Train Wreck each of my teams have 6 transformers on them.

I know my Transformers and I know Shockwave isnt a Constructicon that was a typo on my end.

In G1 Shockwave was Guardian, In Animated he was an Infiltrator used to gain access to Cybertron and the Space Bridge, in FOC he is a Scientist of sorts who makes the Dinotbots in Prime unknown what he will be.

But like I said I just want new characters why does it always have to be old school Generation 1 guys I mean yeah I love these. But I also love the fact thier could be newer characters never before seen.

If I did want any old school G1's in Prime it would be Trailblazer it has been sometime since we have seen him, Cosmos could be done in a new way, so can Mirage, Thundercracker, Skywarp or SkyFire not JetFire.

I realize not all of these would be in Prime I would just put some of the best in Prime.

FEED HIM TO THE SHARKTICONS!

That Bot wrote:Since they're going to the trouble of making a Thundertron toy and putting it in the Prime line, I really hope the Star Seekers make an appearance in the show. I don't know that Starscream counts as his own faction since he's just one dude. He's a rogue agent, but as far as ideology goes he's basically just a Decepticon that isn't allied with Megatron. The US Military is going to be allied with the Autobots, even if there's animosity. MECH are the only true lone faction, so if the Star Seekers make an appearance, that would bring us to a total of four major factions, with one rogue Decepticon and the Wreckers out doing who knows what. If THEY appear they're going to be on the Autobot side, also, even if there's a power struggle between Prime and Magnus. But getting back to my initial point, I think a faction that wants to destroy ALL Cybertronians, plus MECH who want to use Cybertronian tech for terroristic purposes, would round out the show's cast nicely. It's always been 'Bots vs. Cons (or 'Mals vs. Cons), it's time to shake things up.

I think I can justify saying, THIS. I agree. It would definately be interesting. Whats more, who would do the voicework?

With Animated then towards the end of the season several new characters where also shown such as the Starsceam Clones which all rebeled against Sceam such as Slipstream done.

I hope Prime will be similar new characters show at the end then in season 3 more big characters such as Combiners.

I also hope that the Nemesis will play a bigger role in future episodes or even in Season 2's epic conclusion maybe the Nemesis will fully awaken it will be friggen sweet if Nemesis would be Trypticon.

Nemesis is about on Par to be Trypicon maybe he is in a dormant state dosent have what he needs to transform or missing his T-Cog.

Prime is going to be awesome but for now I am killing time other ways while waiting for Episode 16 such as watching Falling Skies which is really good.

Dark Knight Rises I am also going to see on IMAX
so I am ok with the wait on Prime just wish more info would come out.

I'm amazed how little a f**k you give about my warnings.

This right here is another official board warning for off topic posting.

I don't think that there will be a power struggle between prime and magnus(if he shows up). in the books magnus is described as a loyal follower with no real aspirations for power. however a lot can change in time, I just wanna see magnus in the show.

I counted him since he's his own allegiance. So, he's like a splinter faction of Decepticon. As is Airachnid.

Multiple factions can be allies on the same side. ;)

Okay, I haven't read any of the books so I don't know what any of these guys's characters are like.

I'm counting major players here, because at the end of the day, all characters have their own motivations and sometimes will act against orders, or help members of the other team, or go off and do whatever and not participate in the battle. So in the end it comes down to overarching allegiance and threat level. Starscream is a rogue Decepticon who isn't much threat on his own, but could probably gather a few followers if Megatron was out of the picture. That's not happening, so he would be mostly a non-issue, but right now he has the Apex Armor and we don't know the full capabilities of that...so I'll go ahead and concede he's probably strong enough to be a faction of his own. Airachnid is a more competent version of Starscream and she can control the Insecticons. If she were released from her stasis imprisonment, she would be a major threat to both sides, so she could qualify as a third faction. However, she's incapacitated right now. So it comes back to Autobots, Decepticons, Starscream, and MECH.

Sabrblade wrote:

I just don't think the military qualifies as their own faction, personally, but this is starting to get into semantics. The bottom line is, I want the Star Seekers to come into play. That way you'll have the seekers trying to destroy all Cybertronians, MECH trying to preserve samples of Cybertronian tech, the Bots and Cons trying to ward off both of those guys while also being at odds with each other, and Starscream trying to keep enough people alive for him to rule over.

Starscream's still an independent side all on his own. Megatron may be Decepticon leader, but that doesn't mean all Decepticons have to follow him and/or be on his side. A single individual can be their own party if they stand against all others in the conflict.

That Bot wrote:We've got David Kaye back, let's get Garry Chalk! :P
Not entirely likely since he's a Canadian-based voice actor. They were able to get David Kaye since he moved from Canada to Los Angeles.

Starscream has always been on his own either trying to take over he has never been out for anyone except his own cause he has been like this since Generation 1 and even the same as Dinobot in Beast Wars.

Remember what Scream said Allied To Know One Servant To None.

The Miltary could be a key factor maybe they are tired of the way things are so they decide to use force to clear things up.

Like I said I would love old School ones such as Trailblazer it is a shame he hasnt been in any since Generation 1 maybe in Toy Lines or Comics but G1 was his last cartoon.

Sky Fire Could be made Similar towards SkyQuake but less bulky with his White & Red Colors from G1. Percetor could be done in a new way such as an Alt.Form Heavy Duty Truck or SUV Type instead of his Miscrcope deal from G1.

More than anything I wanna know what Shockwave will transform and if he will have his Shock Blast Cannon and the traditonal Cycloptic Eye.

Ravage Would be cool in Prime he could be an Infiltrator seeks out info and keeps tabs on the humans.

Also how will the Iacon Relics be used and in which way, Will the Nemesis make a comeback and play a larger role.

What is the deal with Silas in Breakdown's Body will this factor into Season 2 ending or will they save him for S3.

Well yes, "disloyalty to Megatron" is basically the definition of a Starscream character. In fact he's got a trope named after him:
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/M ... Starscream

More than anything I wanna know what Shockwave will transform and if he will have his Shock Blast Cannon and the traditonal Cycloptic Eye.

He'll probably look like his FOC version. And looking back at every character ever named Shockwave (or Shockblast), only two have ever NOT been cyclopes with arm cannons: Micron Legend Shockwave (AKA Armada Tidal Wave), and a Mini-Con from Cybertron named Shockwave. So I think it's a safe bet that Prime Shockwave will be very visibly a Shockwave.

What is the deal with Silas in Breakdown's Body will this factor into Season 2 ending or will they save him for S3.

Considering that they set it up before the halfway point in the season, I doubt they'd put Silas Breakdown off for Season 3. He'll probably appear late-season 2, towards the finale.

Starscream isn't Starscream without that characteristic.

Only time will tell.

The relics gained by either faction could be used in the final battle of Season 2. That'd be pretty cool.

Rodimus2006 wrote:What is the deal with Silas in Breakdown's Body will this factor into Season 2 ending or will they save him for S3.

They'll probably do something with him this season. My guess is they'll put Silas into Breakdown's body to revive him somehow. Then we'll of course get a new toy MECH Breakdown, and we know what goes down afterwards.

________________________________________________________________________

I'm done quoting. Now for me to put in my 5 cents.

As much as I think Bulkhead's awesome, he is my least favorite character. I didn't like his character in Animated (I didn't like Animated too much anyway...) so if he died I wouldn't be one to cry. Plus I'd love to boot Bulk aside so that G1 characters like Ironhide (not likely. He's probably coming in S3), Grimlock, or Wheeljack can replace him. (GEEWUNNER ALERT) You can also kill Bulkhead to make that annoying abomination Miko kid crying home, never to leave her room, and die.

My deal on the Military is I mean I think they could be a factor cause they dont think Fowler is doing his job good enough so the US Militarty/Goverment takes things into thier own hands and disenvow/Fire Fowler from his duties.

I wanna see which Iacon relic will be used 1st Spark Extractor or The Hammer and in which way.

2 Things wil make or break Prime How will Shockwave factor into Prime and the Fate or Bulkhead if done right ok then but if done wrong you are going to cause fan frenzy on the boards.

Me I say August would be a safe bet for Episode 16 to return since Season 3 hits later this year.

See the episode titled "Grill" to get your military fix.

Also, were was it said that S3 would air later this year? I think by now that notion is on the fence at best. Hasbro seems VERY reluctent to give out any info regarding the werabouts of the show.

Spark Extractor, or at least they tried. The Autobots were going to use it when the Nemesis broke down, but then it went live and zapped them all before they could get close enough.

I highly doubt we're getting S3 this calendar year. They'll probably push S2 on long enough so it ends in mid-October like last year, then start S3 in February 2013.

No pictures of Shockwave have leaked probably because Hasbro was VERY strict about the no-pictures situation.

Okay, I'll try my best to recall his design from memory. Picture in your head G1 Shockwave's cartoon character model being seen from the front at a lower angle to Shockwave's right. Now imagine it in the CGI animation style of Prime. His eye was red, his arms and shoulders seemed a bit big in shape (almost "muscular" but still "blocky"), and his colors were dim and muted, almost colored gray like "Shackwave" (though, that may have been due to the lighting, the clip being unfinished, or a combination of both). His chest was the traditional hexagonal shape, but a bit bigger and "fatter" than it was on G1 Shockwave, kinda like how big it is on Energon Shockblast or this Titanium Shockwave prototype. I cannot recall if he had an arm cannon on either hand, or if he just had two hands, but I wouldn't be surprised either way since WFC/FOC Shockwave has two hands in both toy and game model form. He did not speak, as his moment of screentime in the clip was brief and only meant to give a quick glimpse at his appearance. I honestly wouldn't be shocked (no pun intended) if his design resembled his WFC/FOC body in the Prime art style, as its abruptness was ambiguous enough to make it look like it could be either the same design or a different-but-still-very-similar-and-iconic design.

He never got it when I kept trying to tell him that the RiD cartoon didn't air on FoxBox, but on Fox Kids. but anyway...

well since these bots tend to rely on internal weaponry I could see him having 2 hands( though there are notable exceptions). if you remember saber did he have a hose on his arm?

Couldn't tell. Given the angle he was shown at, if he did have one, it wasn't visible.

that's to bad, thanks anyways.

1 month and I'm starting to get antsy. I have rewatched all of season 1 and what of season 2 that has aired, but it isn't enough.........

I do have a consistent nag after rewatching it. why do they keep letting wheeljack take their one interstellar vessel, and nearly destroying it......repeatedly!

It's his Jackhammer, he'll do what he wants with it. He's a loose cannon. ;)
