(and no, Armada Starscream's side change doesn't count.)
I hoped Brakedown would've Reused to give in to Screamer's pressure and just said "next time, bulky" but oh well.
Also, Im pretty sure a few Mech soldiers got killed in this ep...like the guys in the Chopper Brakedown threw a car at...WHICH EXPLODED...but I like that its not pretending to be merciful.
Currently on a quest to collect as many Unicron Trilogy toys as possible...maybe even complete the collection...

My first impression was that they were gonna try to make a Transformer, like a remote-control version of Optimus. Nemesis Prime would be really clever.

EDIT: Also, im impressed that the mom's mind wasn't wiped or some dookie like that. Im also glad that they didn't wait till near the end for the parent reveal, like Cybertron. Maybe Orci & Kurtzman know what theyre doing...kind of.

Airachnid considers herself an "ex-Con".
Okay, Jack's description of "his motorcycle being more than what it really is to his mother is probably the best "I'm friends with Autobots" speech ever given in any Transformers series. He uses no Cybertronian-original terms (all Earthen terms, unless you count "transform"), and yet still uses a high-level vocabulary that shows that the writers aren't trying to talk down to children. Plus, his word choice and the way he says it all prevents it form sounding either corny or like he's crazy. Though, to a nonbeliever, it still sounds like he's lying, but still.
Airachnid continues to prove how deliciously sinister she is, and Silas continues to prove how ingeniously awesome he is!
For Arcee to suddenly wake up at the exact moment at which she's about to be opened up (the very same moment that Airachnid begins to torture Jack and June) seemed a little too convenient and kinda interefered with some of the suspense to the episode. I mean, sure, it was expected that she'd come out of it somehow, but her revival seemed a little too immediate after having been critically knocked out the way she was.
OH YEAH! Agent Fowler! This episode is all kinds of awesome!
SNAP! Airachnid has Dinobot's eye beams! They even light up green before firing!... ahh, scratch that. They aren't laser beams, they're scanner beams. She's scanning a new altmode: Fowler's attack helicopter... which she looks nothing like in her robot mode (she keeps her regular Spider-esque two-legged robot mode that has zero helicopter kibble whatsoever).
And now, June not only finnaly gets that ride Jack promised her, but she at long last meets the Autobots.
For this episode, I just have these three words...
BEST!
EPISODE!
EEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
Until a better one comes, that is.

Best TFP episode yet. June Darby comes off as tough as nails and competent as could be, we’ll be seeing more of her I hope. In fact Ratchet may have found his human friend. Ha, I can just see it now. Them working together, commiserating on how hard it is to get the heroic type to take proper care of themselves. Cue Blukhead smooshing something, they turn as one, “We needed that!”
Any thoughts on that?

He's talking about theoretical human. He's working on the assumption that this show is predictable, despite that Cliffjumper's death should have taught him the opposite.

Exact opposite for me. It was the moment that proved that this series isn't going to screw around and let people live, and that you really, really shouldn't expect anything.

Well that's a...classy metaphor, I guess. But remember, that's how it's been since G1.

He was going out of his way to make sure Megatron stayed alive, so I doubt he's working for someone else.

It's been considered, but nothing's set in stone. Anything's possible at this point, but right now the show is the primary project.DJ1107 wrote:So I heard there's talk about the possibility of a theatrical movie for Prime. Normally I would complain but you know what maybe they need it. Something an hour and a half long could work for a show like this.
