Welcome to the club.Noideaforaname wrote:I daresay I enjoyed this show more than I do with Prime (which I do follow).
They're normally orange by default. But when he switches to pretending to be a lifeless machine, he switches them to blue while the others simply pull visors over their eyes.Noideaforaname wrote:- Boulder's eyes seem to switch between orange and blue...
Technically, we don't know when this show takes place in relation to Prime. If it took place at the sme time as Prime is right now, then Optimus would have been with the Decepticons as Orion Pax at the time episode 1 of this show (in which he was "Optimus Prime") took place.Noideaforaname wrote:- Curiously, Optimus in Prime happens to be in Antarctica while Heatwave tries to contact him. Hmmm...
Upon first viewing, I thought she gave him the finger. Had to rewind and double check.Noideaforaname wrote:- I don't know why, but I just love that angry fist shake that old woman gave MorBot after "saving" her cat.

Good question. I'm gonna guess she's deceased. I can see Chief Burns being a widow, which would add an extra facet to his character without controversy.Hip-Hoptimus Rime wrote:I searched the thread with no results, so here's my question: where is Mrs. Burns? I've watched this show with my kids, 3 and 7, since it bega, and to my recollection there has been no mention of a Burns' family matriarch. Surprisingly, my kids haven't asked about that- in their world, there's always a mom and a dad.
If there is not yet a canon answer, any speculations ? Divorced? Dead? Zombie? (Oops, wrong forum.)

Well, this isn't the first time that the show deviated from real world history. In episode 2, they said that there was an artificial volcano featured in the 1939 World's Fair, when there was no such thing in display at the World's Fair in real life.Foxbear wrote:Now there is one thing that bugs me about this episode. That was a grizzly bear. For some reason Chief burns seems completely unsurprised to see it on what is supposed to be a New England Island. There haven’t been wild Grizzlies in that part of the world for decades…
Foxbear wrote:Still and all a great episode. It really should have aired last week as a Father’s day special though. It wouldn’t have altered the main plot flow for the series.

As a former Boy Scout (with a rank of Eagle), I really really liked this episode! Lots of scouting points helped save the day throughout the episode, and we got another piece of the show's history. Plus, we got a new shipping pair, and a great moment of hilarity with Steve Blum screaming as Heatwave fell from cliff. Priceless!

...And still sea-worthy, apparently, as it said on easily while carrying the weight of the Bots, despite not having set out to sea in 200 years.
