Well Watched episodes 24 & 25 of season 3 over the weekend, looks like some here did also.

The first part of this premiere is much more interesting than ANY of the episodes in between I've ATTEMPTED to watch.
I've watched all of the episodes for this season, but have forgotten most of the details, that's how memorable they are. But I wholeheartedly agree with this statement. The Cybertron takeover should have been the focus of season 3.

This I do not agree with. Sure the pics may be of some members of the original series, but they could have been any character from any continuity. This show has no connection, or inspiration from the original, any more than Transformers Animated does (and they actually showed footage form the original series in the first episode).
What I'm not sure is...who to blame? (or should we blame anyone?). I read a Fan Q&A with Adam Beechen recently. A lot of fans criticized the questions accusing them of being to harsh, and the interviewer of being a jerk. Which may have been true, but Beechen's responses were less than professional IMHO. Sure nobody likes to have their work criticized. But if CN, Hasbro, or some other party impeded his *vision* of the show, he should say so (if he did, I missed it and apologize), If not, he should own that the fans in general don't care for this iteration of Transformers, and will ultimately be forgettable.
It's sad to say, but this should happen more often. Fans will give due praise to a series if its well done, as well as criticize a poorly handled one. I remember when Bob Skir cancelled his appearance at BotCon, I think it sent a clear message. I only wish all involved with Machinima's series would have been at a public fan event. The fact that Hasbro calls that series "critically acclaimed" is delusional, someone isn't getting the memos. But with RiD15 ending, its sad that a continuity that started off so amazing, ended so uninspiringly (Frankly I'm not sure what could be done in 20 minuets to save this show and cement it as memorable...but I guess we'll find out soon...) .
The sad thing is, my first impressions of Cyberverse are not positive. I really hope I'm wrong. Three possible years of that, even if they revisit several continuities, could be quite painful, kind of like the Unicron trilogy all over again.
