My biggest regrets are not getting G1 Fort Max in Hamleys( they were the only UK retaler to have Max).
The other is not buying Microman black Perceptor for £5.00 when i saw him at a bootsale thinking at the time it was a knock off! DOH!

Then again the following week I did find a MISB Gen 1 soundwave for £5.00 at another bootsale from a guy who'd found a load of old toy creates in a german warehouse and was flogging them to clear :D

Weapon: Rust Ray Gun
Energon Ultra Magnus and BIAB Magnus.

Only ever seen the latter once, loose. It was never released here in Canada.

I ended up passing on Cyb leader Prime and Metroplex, as well as classics Rodimus and Titaniums G1 Ultra Magnus.

Fortunately, after the the 2007 movie, I found Cyb. leader Prime in a local TRU, and sometime after the initial rush for RotF one of the local shops must have found some older toys rotting in the stock room so I got not only the Metroplex, but also a Cyb. leader Megatron (which I'd decided I "must have" after reading posts on here, I think) to go with them.

Still not got Rodimus or Magnus, though. Probably start looking for them once I'm properly settled into my new flat and actually have somewhere to put them :)

You really are not missing much with G1 Titanium Magnus.

K tf shop Kapow-Toys have Henkei Strafe for £70.00, dunno how much it would cost for you guys in the states to get toys from them though as they specialise on the UK market.

They also have UK exclusive action masters at very reasonable prices.

There's some I regret but I got over it.
I was at a convention, about to ask about a figure and this guy ahead of me asked and bought it, which was a 15 dollar japanese 10th anny optimus primal. I was going to ask if it was opened, cause it looked like it had been.
I never got unicron, but really, I dont want either one they have. I guess I'm holding out for a repaint one day. They re-released him a while back, in the same colors and I passed. I like unicron, but I dislike armada enough to pass him up.

The entire 2006 Classics line. My local Target literally had over 10 Ultra Magnus vs Skywarp sets for sale at one point. I feel like crying every time I think about it

The British pound is worth roughly $2US. Strafe for $140 is no deal at all lol.

My regret is i didnt get to finish getting all the Seacons the first time and then the second time through TFCC and the same with the Predacons being re-released! On the good side i did find alot of old G1 Transformers at my mom's and is average shape and everything was in the Transformers cases that Habro released back then. And since i've been collecting for the last 2 years or so, i would say the next thing i regret getting is Henkei Wildrider :BANG_HEAD: and i think i saw him and henkei Rodimus together for $300 or $400 for both on Ebay! Crazy 8-}

There was a Fort Max in my local Toymaster, a good few hundred miles away from anything resembling Hamleys. Of course, I can't really regret not getting him, because it wouldn't have been me forking out for it.

More recently, buying toys myself, I skipped a lot of Classics. I passed on Hot Rod, Voyager Prime and the Magnus vs Skywarp set, along with all of the newer ones. I also regret not picking up the movie line repaint of Energon Arcee (since the original one seemed somewhat invisible over here), Energon Shockblast(Wave!) and the Armada Emergency Mini-Con team. Most of the other bots I've really wanted but not got are ones I've never seen, so I didn't get the option to not buy them.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

My local Toymaster had a colouring competition with Fort Max as the prize. Couldn't believe it. Got the leaflet, coloured it but for some reason never entered it. Shame cos I did a good job.

Regret not buying an oversized Machine Wars Thundercracker on Ebay.

Others include:

Machine Gun Robo that inspired Actionmater Treadshot.

Energon Shockblast

G1 Overlord because I felt I was geting too old at 15.

G1 Snarl or Sludge, opting instead for Motorvator Flame because I didn't have a Motorvator at the time. Last TF I bought as a kid.

Henkei Strafe is at TFsource for $79.99 + shipping.

Or you can do $10 bucks better and buy him from this guy on eBay for only $69.95 (includes shipping). You'd be hard pressed to get a better deal than that :)

I've actually bought quite a few items from him. World class seller, IMO.

My biggest single regret is not getting a fleet of Cybertron Thunderblasts.

She was on sale for the longest time for $5 at the Walmart near me.
I kept putting off the purchase "till later", which never actually happened.

Now she goes for a redunculous price online.

Another regret was not picking up Titanium Menasor from HTS. For a while there they could not give that thing away, and I could have picked him up for a song. I now have a pretty good collection of "Nemesis" colored repaints, and he'd fit right in.

Also there are a few Henkei versions of figures I had in Classics that I could have nabbed that I did not necessarily want at the time. But, of course, I want them now that they cost 50 times as much. :BANG_HEAD:

All of the Beast Wars Megatrons, I loathe having to pay 60+shipping for those things just to complete my Megs collection. Granddaddy of all my regrets wasn't a missed buy, but rather my childhood negligence(cause it's gonna cost me a fortune now.) I had 3 complete mint awesome G1 Trypticons as a kid, I used them for target practice the first time I got drunk(very young, don't hate me too much.) I could have sold 2 of them nowadays to pay for Sky Lynx & Omega Supreme.

As for the hugest missed buy. Hands down, Energon Omega Supreme. He's a really cool, huge guy & I could have got him for under $40 bucks at the time. :BOOM:
