So my Pretender Megs and O.P. came in today, no real decent pics just yet. I am enjoying them though, played with them in between building some Lego VW van. The instructions for Megatron are odd in that they show Cerebros as the inner bot and no mention of Megatron, spacewarp, or this weird missile launcher looking acessory.
I like both the legends bots and have had a blast changing them back and forth, as well as putting them in their shells.

I have Oilmaster, who shares the shell and mold with Prime, and I love him. That is a great modern pretender, even if I wish the limbs could go into their respective shell limbs.

I placed a PotP Legends figure into Bomb-Burst last night -- can you tell?

Stick a Prime Master with armor inside a pretender, you'll have a Russian nesting pretender. Sorta like an Ultra Pretender, but all humanoid.

Hah, too true Emerje. So I decided to look online for what the extra accessory for the Megatron pretender was for and discovered that I'm doing it all wrong apparently. I was trying to(and succeeding) in making megs look more like Grand's shape in being put into the shell then how you are actually to set Megs and Spacewarp into that shell.

There's room to spare in the big shell for the Prime Master with his gun on his back.

As for the gun itself, it can fit into the inner robot's hand, but it's a very loose fit. Still, it work.

I didn't word myself correctly, it was late.

What I meant was, can the shell in weapons mode be incorporated into Cloudbursts alt mode at all? (Basically, will it fit where CB's gun goes under the nosecone?)

Here's the now COMPLETE REPORT.

As you tried to ask before, here's the spacejet fully equipped. It dosent look too good, but it's a solid fit thanks to the standard 5mm port.




The small gun fit PERFECTLY the Pretender decoy.



And finally, the obvious:

Now he looks like a Mega Pretender with the PM shell pegged in the front.

I love the little Cloudburst on Cloudburst action. (On or in?) Man, I have been busy lately and missed so much on here that is fun and silly.
I have my Pretenders on display with my LG God Ginrai and G1 Skylinx at the top of my bookshelf, kind of silly looking but oddly enough the colors go well together.

This was a very intense thread bodrock, I never knew the pretenders had this much love for them and it pleases me to see roadblock getting the attention he so rightly deserved. Now to invent a time machine and save mine from the car boot sale...

So many precious toys I lost this way. So much money I burned on Ebay getting some back...

Anyway, the inner bot of Roadblock is a GPS victim. I have a 100% complete one and in PERFECT condition... until I had a brainfart and tried to put the small gun into the gold bot's hand. You can see the sad result a few pages back.

Ah that was the problem with mine, thanks to GPS his hip had to be glued back together it was lucky my dad was very handy with super glue. It was one of only two transformer toys that broke during my childhood, the other being silverbolt whose leg lost his screw.

Hey ZeroWolf -- welcome! Great of you to join us.

The Pretenders made up for their lack of articulation with creative/wacky designs -- when I first saw Roadblock's humanoid Pretender shell, he looked so cool I had to have him! I treat him like glass, but I've had plenty of fun taking pics with him....but it's always nerve-wracking to pull him out of his shell (so I often don't!).

I also like some of the transformations for the inner robots, considering what the designers had to work with it think they did quite well

It's almost like, they're not as obscure as some members in other threads like to believe ...
