the pred forum?

that thing gets 1 post every 3 months.

i just didn't think realize how bad no endurance was gonna be. i could have done thing s alot different. right now i got a win-loss of 9-37 :-(

On this topic, how critical is Rank? I'm having trouble tracking how effective the higher ranks of it are really performing. Thoughts?

i've seen high rank absorb alot of damage! like rank 9 turning almost all weapon fire into 1% damage

Rank is important, but only with high strength. Higher armor is useless without the strength to equip it en mass.

I think Endurance is too, but not the way people are thinking. Endurance seems to be roughly dropping the damage down (at least from ram) down to a unmodified level. So, for those who were expecting endurance to knock the damage from a ram attack down to 10% instead of 30%, yeah, endurance is useless. However, if that bot with 10 strength hit you and you had no endurance, how much damage would it do to you? How long would you be stunned?

Unless Psychout wants to do otherwise, there's going to be no delay in this little contest just so people can change their clothes.

This isn't about who has the prettiest looking bot, it's about who has the better config.

But hey, if Editor or Sustain want us to change their alt modes so they at least look pretty, we can do that for them.

I thought endurance added to it? That would make sense though, so probably not.

As long as you're not getting blanked a lot, you should still be getting pretty significant XP gains. That's pretty much why I'm in first.

Final match is about 20 days away. I assume that since it wasn't in the rules, Psychout hadn't planned on one, and was going to use the average score thing to determine who is the over all winner, which at this point, I think is SS14.

League score will be total points divided by number of matches, hence why you have to keep track of your losses. So you could have 65 points in 60 matches giving you a league score of 1.08 while another person have 60 points in 50 matches give that person a league score of 1.20. Even though you have more points, the other guy will finish ahead of you since he have presumably less losses. Its all about the results of the matches you do. I am assuming there is going to have to be a minimum amount of matches completed to be put on the leaderboard.

I don't know what it is... I can't seem to beat the ram/strafe combo. It always comes down to one fricken hit from me, and then I get strafed for mass damage and lose. I'm not talking 50% damage, I'm talking 70% or higher. It's getting annoying. I know that's not all the losses I've had, but it's the worst ones. It makes me want to go and harm kittens.

About as pissed off as I am with Red's childish rant in his post. Irony is, had he actually read the rules like he said he had, he'd know that he was being a retard instead of me having to point it out in public for him.
