So it looks like they've found someone to animate the star wars cartoon set in between episode 6 and episode 7. Called Star Wars Resistance (thanks abrams for that name...it was...so inspired -_-)

A lot was broken, disemboweled, and left for dead on that last film. I'll believe Abrams can fix it, when I see it.
I will remain skeptical, and proceed with caution.

I will say that that Jedi jump she does is pretty rad though.

Man, I’m easy to please when it comes to movies. I love Pacific Rim, I like the GI Joe films, I like Hercules with Dwayne Johnson, I even like X-Men Origins: Wolverine. But Last Jedi is not only a bad Star Wars film, it’s a bad film period. Bad pacing, bad plot progression, bad characters/motivations. God I hate that movie.

Yeah! What does that even mean? I like to speculate as much as the next super fan, but I don't even feel like taking the time or wasting the energy to speculate what this new one is about.

Nothing will be forgiven from me, I will always hate the Last Jedi. But I will only hate that film for itself. I dont mind watching this one too but I dont feel much hype for it. I dont actually care for any of the new characters aside from BB8.

I read somewhere that Kylo Ren was supposed to represent the toxic male fanbase who wont let go of the past and are just angry and if that is true, then why would that make for a good character? I dont like people who lose their credibility over silly anger fits, so doing a character like that garners no fun for me.

Technically Kylo Ren is descended from a Skywalker, and that last movie had that small sub-plot about Rey trying to redeem him.

If that's the case, meh. Let's just hope Vader comes back with Palpatine and he redeems himself.

... either plot is going to suck. Man I didn't realise how jaded I've become because of that last movie, and it wasn't because of the feminist stuff, it's because it just sucked.

Well I'm interested in the next movie, and I've heard speculation aplenty that Skywalker is set to become some sort of title akin to sith or jedi to represent true balance...but I also expect that to be wrong like all speculation on the net. Also seen plenty still bumed about hans death in episode 7 and acting like it only happened because of Abrams..(they said that the movies had to kill off one ot character a movie, bets on lando next)

I thought the obvious choice would be Leia. I think it would be pointless to kill Lando, he seems to be the rightful replacement for Han in his partnership with Chewbacca. It would kinda bring their story full circle.
