Sure Pacino and Nelson have had their share of stinkers but they'd be stupid to go into a product that is already known for being poor quality.
They're hardly impoverished and in need of a quick buck are they? It'd be a real surprise if a big name attached themselves to the franchise now, imo. I was taken aback when I read Mark Wahlberg has signed up!
Then again, also still can't believe with got Tim Curry and Mark Hamill in Transformers (even if in one of the cartoons rather than the movies).
Arguably they all got involved before the franchise turned into obvious ****.
So, since John Goodman was just in AoE, are you saying the franchise turning to obvious **** is still in the future? Or is it happening currently? Please explain as I am merely a piece of meat.
Prime Riblet wrote:Still doesn't explain at which point the franchise went to "obvious ****", in your opinion of course.
But all of the actors I listed (minus Hugo Weaving and Leonard Nimoy) came into the franchise (via the movies or cartoons) after 2007.Blast Cannon wrote:Prime Riblet wrote:Still doesn't explain at which point the franchise went to "obvious ****", in your opinion of course.
At the point when the first letter of the first word in the first script of the first film was put to paper.

Doesn't matter, Sabreblade. He can't see the flaw in his own reasoning. Pointless to continue this.

The budget doesn't even exist for that.
Exactly. For the life of me i can't understand how people who want a live action transformer movie 90% transformers and 10% humans can't figure this out. What's even more comical is to this day, no one can seem to respond to this either.
Well, here's your response:
If someone wants an 80-90% Transformer movie, and the budget doesn't exist to make that happen, that does not change the want on the part of the people who would like to see that.
That's actually been the response to this for years now. "I want a movie with 80-90% Transformers!"
"The budget doesn't exist for that!"
"Well, that doesn't somehow mean that I don't want to see the movies made that way."
It's been that answer for years. People don't like that answer, so they ignore it, and then claim that those in favor of a budget prohibitive movie 'can't' answer. But sticking fingers in your ears doesn't equal an inability to answer. The same for better acting, writing, directing, whatever. Just because a thing isn't doesn't mean people give up on wanting it to be.

Think of it like a football scholarship. you start at high school. You start playing well, you get noticed. You do really well, and you get free ride into college. You do fantastic, you get a ride in the NFL. Boll just never made it past high school.
You and SlyTF1 should get together.TurboMMaster wrote:This movies are so bad that even video with 90-years old grandpa raping dead corpses of children that died few months ago probably would be more fun. So yeah, for me DOTM was the worst movie ever.

I said it didn't I? You've got it in writing. I can't exactly go back on my word now because people have seen it.
So go ahead, knock yourself out. I need a laugh and everything you post gives me the giggles.

Sorry folks, Sly's disappointing us again.

Ah. I had never heard that phrase before. I was under the impression he was claiming to be anatomically incomplete.Sabrblade wrote:Replace the last word with "bothered".Rodimus Prime wrote:What the hell does that mean?SlyTF1 wrote:I can't be assed.
