Thanks! However, I'm a bit wary because Nedos have been KO'ed a lot. So if it's not a Japanese seller and they sell Nendos for too cheap.....

By the way, I'm trying for the first time Anime Export for Kizuna Ai's Nendo. Release date in September....

Back in February I went to this little Comic-Con type event and bought a mystery bag for £20, it was just a tied up brown paper bag that I couldn't look what was inside until after I bought it, and inside were these two anime figures. I don't watch much anime so I don't recognize the characters, so does anyone on here know what anime or manga these two are from?

Anyway, for me my most recent non-Transformers buys are figma Joker from Persona 5 of AmiAmi.

And Voltron Classic 84 Blue and Green Lions from a Target clearance.

Congrats on your first Nendo, Will!
On my end, I finally received what was supposed to be my first Nendo, Umaru chan!

She's quite heavy for her size. Proof that the Nendo stands are quite strong.

Time for some GORE.

Thanks to the extra faces swaps, Umaru is more smug than ever.

Thanks for your reply Emerje, I do have Yamanaka's mask, there was a bunch of other anime related nick-nacks in the bag with the two dolls, so I didn't even realize the mask was hers until I saw the picture you posted. I might give Kantai Collection and K-ON! a watch if I can find DVD's of them.

Our nationwide dollar store chain is stepping up its game and becoming a full fledged market 6 store, like 5 below in the US. Meaning there can be great deals on older product. I had picked up some star wars 2 packs for super cheap earlier and today they had absolutely crazy deals on books (of all things). A george RR Martin hardcover illustrated editionf of the Ice Dragon was only 3$ and the Star Wars hardover golden books were only 2$ a piece (thanks for the recomendation Cobotron!). The best deal was probably that Force Awakens brand new Look and Find book for 3$. All Canadian prices (so discount 25% to get the prices in USD). I bought the books for my wife and kids.
Also, Walmart had a discount on all the Royal Shimmer Hasbro disney princess dolls at 8.94 a piece (about $7 USD). So I got a bunch and used the price match at toysrus to get the dolls Walmart didnt have. Will slowly give them to my daughter throughout the year.

That's a nice strategy, Will. Get all the toys on sale at once, then give them SLOWLY through the year. That way, each dolls will remain special.
My sis made a grave mistake toward her daughter several years in a row. Meaning going to Dolarama, buying around TWENTY toys, packing them, and giving them ALL at once to her kid. And through the year, she give way too much stuff to her daughter. Result? A spoiled brat who see absolutely NO value in anything. Sure, my niece have a mental condition that she can't count money even at nearly 17. But she got so much stuff so often that it cheapen everything. Often I tried to explain this to my sis but she never, ever want to hear any of it.
As kids, our parents were poor and we want to compensate toward our kids. But one must be careful not to engage on the "spoiled" slippery slope.

Yeah, same here. I feel most of us grew up poor where we come from. The 80s and 90s were a rough time for our neck of the woods with all the companies leaving the province in fear of referendums. It wasnt like the hay days of Montreal in the 60s. My Transformers colelction growing up came from either Christmas présents of findings at St Vincent de Paul (where these old ladies would charitably gather some second hand toys and give them to my mom for us).
But yeah, giving them away slowly is the way to go. Not just so that she doesnt get spoiled but also to ensure that each doll gets her time to shine in her room before she gets bored by them.

Well, look like Hobby Search is the new BBTS. Once again, I'm scored 30 freaking dollars of custom fees for something that is worth LESS than 100$. JFC
Anyway, not a toy but I'm glad to have the statue of my second favorite Pokegirl, Touko A.K.A Hilda. She was preodered for around 6 months!

150$CAN total is expensive as balls. Still, I'm glad to have her. She's a beauty.

And now, #2 can have an epic (but quite unbalanced) battle against #1, Haruka!

However, at that price, two pokéwaifus are enough.

Went hunting at a flea market with my friend and I found a little something.
Play Arts Final Fantasy 8 Selphie Tilmit. Brand new and sealed. For only 30$CAN!

I had to "break" her joints, but everything went fine and she's quite posable and stable. She won't be needing that ugly stand. I'm pretty glad to have found my FF8 waifu!

Here's what I got from Mandrake and Ebay:

Five Nendoroids and two Kotobukiya To Heart 2 1/8 statues!
The Transformers are shown in the usual thread. As for the Nendos, there's WAY too much to show off. Maybe I'll create a "Nendoroids General" thread. For now, I'll focus on the Kotobukiya statues.
To Heart 2 is an Eroge. I never played the game. I also never watched the anime adaptation. Maybe I should. I bought those statues because they looked nice, represented some precious anime tropes, and were ridiculously cheap.
Those statues are made of kinda supple plastics so to break them, you must REALLY what to break them. Not unlike shudder resins.

First of, the nice and sexy Kanami sisters. Superb sculpt and nice details here.

NOTHING is amiss.

These girls have no secrets!

Next is the maid. I don't remember the name. Maid cafes are huge in Japan. Especially in Akihabara. I'd love to experience going there and being served by such a classy yet sexy beauty.

Seriously that statue have one VERY EXITING feature.

Not that, you silly you...
....
THIS!

Dat PLATE! Man, this thing is the size of a dollar and it feature some mouth watering details! The sculpting is perfect and the amount of paint on such a tiny surface is ridiculous!
The plate is held on via the included double sided take. So you can display her with or without the plate.
---------------
Overal, nothing give a better morale boost than some anime tiddies!

That's what I was planning to do by pre-ordering Umaru Chan and getting Hatchune. But things kinda snowballed...
