You really should. Though FWIW I haven't played the first NieR yet (I'll do so once I've finished Automata), AFAIK the only links between the two games are little easter eggs/unlockable info that ties the two games together.

So it's not really a direct sequel then? Good. I could go straight to Automata and come back to the first one when I feel like it then.

Not to spoil anything for others, that ending was the best one. Realistic in a good way.
Anyway, I do have some anime goods on the way. But I think they were stuffed into a bottle and the bottle thrown into the ocean. My stuff is slooooooooooooooly floating toward me...................................

I feel like we need an "everything else" haul thread here for things like DVDs, comics, and games.
