Yeah, but Tidal Wave was at least purple in addition to the name. Super-Link Mirage was a freaking boat that wasn't even blue and white. But I get the point.Emerje wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:When I get a Micron Legends Shockwave, could I put him with my other Shockwaves? I don't know, would you stick his upgrade, Mirage, on a Mirage shelf? Kinda answers itself, right?
Well, I would think it would have to be Armada colors, because that's what's most well-known, right? And then if they had any sense they would redeco him as an exclusive either in the purple, the white/gray, or both. And he would be big enough in Titan size that his troop carrier part could actually carry legends figures if not deluxes. And in warship mode he would take up a lot of room.Hey, something just occurred to me. Sort of piggybacking off the question of which is the better Tidal Wave color: If Hasbro did decide to do a Titan Tidal Wave which color would you want him to be in? If you want cartoon accuracy then you go with Japanese Micron Legend colors, but if you want something like from the PS2 game then you have to go with Armada colors. Though I'm sure some would be happy with Energon colors since he was massive there. I'm not sure which one I would go with, I think I'd be fine with either Micron or Armada, though I'm leaning a little towards Micron.
Well, if he'd been a separate character like he was originally supposed to be (before the Japanese show writers repurposed him as an upgrade of TW, hence the Japanese name being "Shock Fleet") he might have had a stealth gimmick to justify the name more instead of just being a trademark benchwarmer.Rodimus Prime wrote:Yeah, but Tidal Wave was at least purple in addition to the name. I actually do have one secured, as well as an energon Optimus too.
Soon, i will have all 3 of the UT big Primes. But now I also need to hunt down a Leobreaker and both Wing Sabers

From my own window-shopping on eBay, I'm pretty sure that Energon Wing Saber will be the harder to find.
Leobreaker won't be too bad. The Wing Sabers though...D-Maximal_Primal wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Congrats!D-Maximal_Primal wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Not bad! Hope you're able to get a true Cybertron Optimus some day.

Finding any of those 3 complete will be an expensive trip, it'll happen eventually

Also, I just checked and I was wrong. Currently Cybertron Wing Saber is being the weirdly rare one on eBay. The Takara version (which is of course more expensive) outnumbers the Hasbro one. Granted, if you don't mind dropping a bunch extra just to have a gold-chromed chestplate... but still.

As far as I have played so far, every single one of these toys is ridiculously fun. Gotta combine Cybertron Prime and Wing Saber, but the Energon combination is really good. Energon Prime in super mode is far more fun than I anticipated!
It's Year of the Snake.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Year of The Horse Optimus, I believe.
Maybe he likes them like that?D-Max, Cybertron Wing Saber's wings are supposed to be folded up except when he's combined with Optimus.
Indeed, my bad. I actually edited to point out the fail.Rodimus Prime wrote:It's Year of the Snake.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Year of The Horse Optimus, I believe.
