i say the fandom will start exploding. :BOOM:

none of the wreckers could combine in past series, and mostly its an entire group of autobots stretching into millions, like in prime. :HEADHURTS:

anyway keep the Redeco-Of-Bruticus-Maximus-Toy away from the fandom, they might blow it up. or they might do that to shockwave. who probably alowed this. ASK THE GODDAMN DINOBOTS FOR PRIMUS SAKE!!!!! anyways i should suggest (which i would) that fandom obeys :BOWDOWN:

Ok, first of all, the more you ask, the more your question or request will get ignored.

Secondly, personally I'm not that bothered with Wreckers combining, nor them being repaints of Bruticus because to me both make perfect sense. The Wreckers are a strike force, so they have to have military themed alt modes. They're meant to damage a lot, and what better way to do that than to combine?

Lastly, officially, this is not Generation 1!

um yeah correct me if im wrong but the wreckers team did not exist in G1. also who cares if they combine, get all the toys and dont combine them, its that simple. but if you want to get complicated like me then you can get rid of most if not all the things on the toys that have to do with combining. just cut them off. im getting them all. my classics could use a roadbuster.
also, the more you pester the more they are ignored.

The Wreckers are originally from the Marvel UK G1 comics. They first appeared(to my knowledge) in the Target: 2006 storyline in 1986.

jelze, aint gonna listen to someone with A LOT LOWER TECH SPECHS THAN ME. the last time i did i was talking to a skywarp toy, which in those days was called a slipstream toy as a joke. of course. and anyway jelze ur rank IS 1 and technically g1 and g2 are the same cartoon,just seperaed by a 2

I think he means they didn't exist in the G1 cartoon, which is indeed accurate, though I seem to recall them planning on including the Wreckers had season 4 continued.

I, too will be getting these Wreckers for my SG shelf, and maybe will commission Twin Twist and Topspin repainted into something a little more G1-esque.

Also Gunclaw, please stop spamming about your eggs. Your constant pestering about them only increases my desire to ignore them.

Ruination is a plethora of references. This isn't G1 or anything else. It's a new universe, shared with the Prime show, War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron, and a few novels. These are an alternate version of the Wreckers, in a different universe. The five members are named after G1 Wreckers, the combined mode resembles Emirate Xaaron from the comics, and the combined form and color schemes are from the combiner team from the "Robots in Disguise" cartoon.

Sabrblade could/will probably tell you more.

I'm all for lesser known sub-groups getting some recognition in some shape or form, and I'm especially happy with Impactor and Twin Twist making an appearance. I'll be getting them, but not for a WFC shelf. Maybe I should skip Bruticus in favor of this guy.

and yes i ddi mean the cartoon but i am surprised that they were in the G1 comics.

seriously? the techspecs on our profiles we make ourselves. the ranks have nothing to with our actual ranks. if ya wanna get technical our ranks go by how many posts we have, thus making you a much lower rank.

Most likely this Wrecker giftset will be tied to the Aligned continuity, but it's not impossible it could be fitted into the "Neo" G1 or "Classics" continuity. Other popular characters from later Transformers series have been retroactively added to Generation 1 via new supplimentary fiction from figure packages, like the new Decepticon Heavy Load, and included mini comics, like the one that came with the Rodimus and Cyclonus gift set from the Reveal the Shield subline, which added Lugnut to the battle at Autobot City in the beginning of Transformers The Movie.

It looks like most/all of the FOC figs and their repaints would fall into Aligned rather than "G1-Classics" if one wants to split hairs over it. Personally I don't mind at all and am aiming more for what I call an expanded-G1 universe.

I probably won't buy it. Don't get me wrong, I'd love the Wreckers to have more recognition, as if DOTM wasn't enough, but I don't want mass repaints in my collection. Seriously, almost every transformer in a line is starting to have it's own repaint. I know, Transformers are known to have many repaints, but I don't recall a line where everyone had a repaint. There probably was one -.-
