Nothing revolutionary, but I just noticed there's a molded wheel on the shield portion of CW/UW Superion/Cyclonus' weapons. It functions as the front landing gear while the combined blaster is plugged in under the nose of jet mode.

If only the weapon/shield thing were reworked slightly both 5mm pegs would be able to plug into the underside of the jet mode. Not that it's necessary, but they missed it by just a hair. Though I suppose it's there so you can have their fold down landing gear function while just the gun part is plugged into the forward hole.

Heh, guess it does on mine too. It wasn't seated all the way back when I first tried it due to the custom paintjob I gave it. My bad!

Tis all good! I did like that molded detail of the wheel to replace the landing gear that could not fold down with the gun in place.

Sort of related, I had Scattershot's (Betatron version) gun/shield combination sitting on the floor when another combiner (Menasor, I think) tipped over on it with the barrel covered by a hand. It made the gun/shield combined look like a mace coming out of his hand. I liked the look! Too bad it doesn't really peg in that way. Might look good posed with Victorion and her sword...

I can totally see the long handle mace. Looks pretty cool actually. Find the tightest HFG you got and it might work. Some of my combiners are haphazardly holding weapons that don't peg in securely.

Is the barrel of silverbolts/cyclonus gun a solid piece? Because if it's not, and it's roughly 5mm then I may have a solution though it may make it longer than was originally intended.

You'll need rooks hfg (or any with a 5mm port in the palm), hotspots/onslaughts gun with the 5mm peg on the back. The idea is to peg hotspots gun into the palm of the hfg with the barrel facing downwards and the peg facing upwards then, if it works out, you can plug silverbolts/cyclonus gun onto the peg and you should have a mace! Abet a really long mace.

I use this method to give my defensor a taser sword using the gun and rooks weapon

I didn't know that CW Swindle's gun could clip to the hood in Robot mode (I assumed that Hound had a small resculpt added to it).

Speaking of weapons for Combiners, I've found that Beast Hunters Starscream's claw weapon can function as a wonky melee weapon for Combiners, I think the colors would work well with Computron.

ALSO, and way cooler IMO, Galaxy Convoy/Cybertron Prime's handgun can fit in combiner hands super securely. Freaking perfect for Bruticus!

It's a tight fit, but CW Megatron can hold CW Shockwave despite that dumb, useless square peg. It's a tight fit, and could possibly stretch out the pegs, so try at your own risk, but I like Megs being able to put the treacherous Shockwave in his place. Take that, usurper!

I also didn't realize until much later that Generations Armada Starscream had landing gear located in his legs.

Watch out for Ultra Magnus the Sniper.

He's got his sights set on you.

Seriously, though, you have no idea how much fiddling it took to set this up.

Wandering through TFWiki I recently came to find out that Fasttrack, a figure I've had since 1988 when I first got Scorponok, can mount his guns to his shoulders. Totally blew my mind after nearly 30 years of owning the guy.

Similarly I had no idea until about a week ago that Headmaster Spike can ride around on Gasket like some sort of killer wheelchair.

Those heels are simply pegged in. They detach easy.


New and improved way:


The heel now spread further back, increasing the surface area of the foot. Improving the stability significantly.


When transforming in jet mode, you can leave the heels in the backward position. However, it does this in jet mode:

I think it's not too bad for the vehicle.

My Windblade can now stand relatively straight and her legs don't have to be hinged forward to stand. That's a neat fix and I'm surprised this is the first I've heard of it, knowing how the Transfomers fandom is. Thanks, Kanrabat!

It took me months to find it out myself. Because we tend to not want to break our figures on purpose. Then I notice there was no pins to I tried pulling a bit on the heel and it came right off. The rest was easy. Lemme tell you, the jet girls are way less annoying to just make them stand.
