So very much worth it though! I was thinking just the other day, "I wonder if/what they'll do with any of Soundwave's other partners?" Those are Perfect Effect Frenzy and Rumble, right?

Yes, that is Perfect Effect FrenzyRumble. It is totally worth it. He sort of reminds me of (the Father of) the sentry robots from FoC with them attached.. I havn't figured out how to attach Ravage yet though, hehe. If I do, I'll post.

*EDIT* I was able to attach Ravage onto Soundwaves back (with ravage's legs wrapped around the rear stabilizer wings). Ravage can also attach in vehicle mode, underneath Soundwave, with both of Ravage's legs around the wings, and the head/chest transformed into flight/water submersion mode. The tail goes straight back towards the rear of engine thrust.

Motto: "Eh, keep your little planet. I'll outlive it."
Weapon: Fusion-Powered Particle Blaster
Sidearm Sideswipe is sadly a pair of arm blades short of being the best representation of the character. Fortunately, you can take the two kibble plates from his back and insert them between his forearms, with the ball socket pointed inwards. It's actually fairly stable locked underneath the car fronts.

RotF Depthcharge / Sonar have really weird legs and no feet the way he's packaged. Pop the legs off at the thighs, swap them and turn the waist, which removes this step from his transformation. He now has proper digitigrade legs and actual feet. The boat halves can actually close around the legs now and make it look like he's wearing a trenchcoat.

RotF Ejector bears some resemblance to the Decepticon hatchlings, especially his fictional appearance, which sports a leaner, more streamlined head than the toy.

Stratosphere sadly didn't get his shuttle gun, but he comes packaged with a tiny Prime I don't need. Though cool as an in-scale extra, I don't want a redundant tiny Optimus. SO guess what perfectly fits in this compartment as if it were meant to go there? It's HftD Deluxe Ironhide's drone cannon. It slides right into that compartment and since it doesn't really look like anything, scale is not an issue. For a gun, give Stratosphere Classics Jetfire's double barreled rifle. It's over-the-top on the heavily armed Classics figure anyway and fits in both Stratosphere's hands at once. Plus, it fits on his jet mode where the shuttle would've docked. Makes for a nicely weaponized transport plane.

Remember T.E.C.H.? I've got two, including Quick Bow. There's this little detail underneath his launching missile that really looks like Brains's face. And he turns into a flat device with a huge screen. The crossbow extensions remind me of arms and make the whole thing look like a character as opposed to a weapon. Since the movie line hasn't given us a Brains, I'm repurposing Quick Bow as him.

PCC Double Clutch is a pain to combine with the Rallybots and doesn't really look too good. Just keep him as a standalone Autobot and combine the cars with Leadfoot, who has a much sturdier torso mode. It looks very different from his standard robot mode with the cool chest design and makes more sense. All Rallybots turn into race cars, some stock and others of the street type. A formula 1 fits the racing theme far better than a classic muscle car.

Likewise, PCC Mudslinger has a really weird colour scheme when combined. Washed out bleak limbs with a bright neon torso. It's also weird to have a monster truck, an official sport car, combine with heavily customized mad max vehicles. Let Mudslinger stay single, which should help to keep his fragile hips from shattering. Combine the team with Icepick, whose muted colours mesh well with the limbs and his wide torso fits with the crooked arms. He's also a heavy duty vehicle with a blade mounted on the front, which fits with the armored car drone and the general theme of the team, if you can ignore he's supposed to be arctic-themed.

Related to the above, all PCCs I have (10 commanders from the first two waves) can deploy the combiner head in standard robot mode. Most look better with the bigger head.

Movie Voyager Blackout has these weird off-white hands and a tiny Scorponok which is rather redundant if you've got the Deluxe of his minion. I swapped his hands with Evac, who has the same design, only in a nice dark grey and clutched in fists with peg holes. Give him the rescue boat as a weapon, since it fits in the same compartment and makes sense for an army vehicle.

RotF Deluxe Sideways misses his light/dark colours. Though it's not perfectly screen accurate, you can pop off the head and the chest-, arm- and legpanels and put these on Dead End. His black main body, with Sideways' silver outer panels look really cool together. The red racing stripes aren't accurate but look cool and his maroon robot body with more paint details beats the bright red torso and bland black limbs of Sideways.

Of course the aforementioned two mods require you to sacrifice a perfectly good Evac and Dead End, since they end up looking far less good than Blackout and Sideways.

The Armored Weapons Platform (Cyberverse Optimus set with trailer) in exo-suit mode without Optimus looks somewhat like WALL-e. The three (eye)tubes on a conspicuous neck joint really give it character as some sort of sentry drone.

Megatron's Cyberverse trailer, the Armored Weapons Base, looks like some standalone jet. If you only want to keep one DotM Megatron, this trailer somewhat fits with the Voyager in vehicle mode as an extra trailer extension. (think Godbomber and Powermaster Prime)

Shockwave's Cyberverse Fusion Tank seems to be partially based on the Driller, especially the part around the missile looks like the creature's mouth and it seems to possess an undocumented four-legged mode.

If you don't want a tiny redundant Bumblebee, Starscream or Ratchet, but like their Cyberverse playsets, they fit rather well with unique Legends scale characters.
The Mobile Battle Bunker goes great with DotM Flak and Guzzle, both in theme and colour. They also both fit on the truck in alt mode.
The Orbital Assault Carrier is a great throne for Crowbar with his articulated legs and it fits since Dread-like drones were seen piloting these vehicles in the film. Crowbar's car mode even fits underneath where Starscream would go.
The Lunar Crawler is essentially Roller's bigger brother and goes great with his colours.

Someone post a picture? I'm curious how it looks. I've always thought it looked kinda cool... but overall I'm rather unimpressed with the mold. Of course a few good pictures might change my mind, haha.

Looking at these pictures, I can't help but feel like that's how he was supposed to be assembled in the first place... *shrug* Got me. He definitely looks pretty good like this.

That stance is way too wide in the photos, it looks much better when its not so stretched out. Either way, I can see people like the other way, as it too is pretty cool. It might also look better on Sonar, which is what I have.

OK, so anyone ever notice ROTF Fallen's kibble-wang? You can snap that off, and then close his arm panel around it. Makes for good storage.

You need to transform his hand into his wrist, that makes the hole face outwards for the shield... you can keep it more intact with the truck door panel underneath the shield like in the pic. (Thats the one on the right in the pic)

For the left one, you just get the gun halves to tighten over the truck door panel near the headlights, Its not too snug, but it stays there fairly well if you know where to hold it if you move his arm.

Alright, got it. Cool! I was looking for a way to make my Classics/Universe Voyager Ultra Magnus look a little more different from the Op Voyager besides investing an insane amount for that 3rd party sword and shield set or the even more insanely priced CC armor set.
A shield does nicely. Thanks for the tip! :D

You can peg Rise of Cobra Destro's spring loaded missile launcher into the grates on ROTF Bludgeon for an over the shoulder missile launcher.
Pegs in nice and isn't gonna fall out.

Anyway, DOTM roadbuster's hands can hold any mechtech weapon if the handle is long enough. line up the hands and you'll see the 5mm peg holes.

Does that mean you haven't vacuumed your living room for almost a year? Every time I dropped small pieces including Lego pieces, I told my wife not to vacuum the floor until I find it. I'm lucky I always find it.
